Solid place for drafts. This is a no-frill dive-like sports bar. They got free wings for Friday and they have a good variety of draft beers. There’s a couple of large TVs so it’s a good place to watch some games.

Used to hit this spot often for wings, hadn’t been in a while. Place is empty nowadays, filled with couples who want some peace I guess. Overall, My GF and I ordered the Shrimp Po Boy since i was craving one and ended up disappointed, small tiny shrimp and all were overcooked, some even a bit black. We were 2 of maybe 10 people in there so I’m unsure how you can overcook the shrimp. Place just doesn’t do it for me anymore. I’ll have to pass on coming back.

Found Croxley’s on Unilocal while waiting for another nearby restaurant to open for dinner. I gave up on the wait and wound up here and it was a very good choice. The bartender/actress or actress/bartender was entertaining to say the least and the crowd was good. An impressive beer list is offered as well as some pretty good eats! Not disappointing at all. This neighborhood used to be horrible years ago but has made a complete turnaround. «A fun time was had by all»

We were suckered in by the 20 cent wings ad posted on the window. We soon realized that many stipulations came with these 20 cent wings. 1. You have to order at least 10 of one flavor 2. Everyone at the table has to order a beverage with a minimum of $ 5 3. 10 cents extra per wing for specialty flavors 4. 55 cents extra per wing if you take it home 5. Extra charge for sauces Taking all of this into consideration, it’s not even worth eating here. If we had known about all this fine print, we definitely wouldn’t have come in. To top it all off, the wings were terrible. We got the Irish Whiskey ones and the Korean ones. Both were terrible and lacked real flavor.

Always have a great time here! They have daily Chicken Wings special, which are always fantastic and tasty. I always crave for their wings with a side of a WoodChuck beer or a Pumpkin Beer, when it is in season. The place is often packed during a game(basketball, UFC, etc), but the staff work really hard to make it a great time for you and your guests. Aside from their wings, they have fantastic nachos and tots. A large selection of beer so you will never be bored!

Quite possibly one of my favorite places. They have daily specials that rotate(I went on a Tuesday night and it was $ 5 nachos night and they were MASSIVE), cheap wings, and a huuuge selection of alcohol. My group of about 12 people came in around 9:30pm Tuesday night looking to do the wings and the staff was so accommodating. We ordered in total about 150 wings and tried all the sauces — medium was my favorite because I’m basic, but I heard good things about the Sriracha, KBBQ, and the Irish one. Thai Peanut was a bit heavy for my taste. Didn’t try the really spicy one because I’m a wuss. We also ordered a couple of baskets of fries and they were perfectly crispy. We had some celery and carrots to accompany the food as well and some blue cheese and ranch. The wings are really good and decently sized for the price. I had come about 8 – 10 months earlier when the wings were still 20 cents and the boneless were about 10 cents, so I was a bit saddened to see the price increase. But hey, I understand, times are tough and the wings are still decently priced. For our group, we walked out paying $ 13 each for the food and tip and tax. Note that there is a $ 5 drink spend for the wings special(and the wings special isn’t available all day), but they didn’t really seem to enforce it(may be just because our party was so large). I’m not much of a drinker, so I stuck to my favorites(Crispin’s Pear Cider), but I heard good things about the Pineapple Cider and some of the other drinks on the menu. There’s a whole bunch of beer on there so you’re bound to find something you’ll enjoy with the wings. When we went though, they didn’t have the blackberry cider available, so less popular items may not be always available. Oh and they had 80s hits on all night. I was so happy with my wings in hand and bumping to 99 Luftballons.

Solid bar eats on the cheap. You know the over sauced, over fried, over greased finger foods. Enter with that in mind, adjust your expectations and you’ll have a great time pairing the food with an exceptional beer selection. Beers include a variety of drafts and a very in depth bottle menu. Had Dogfish Head 120 minute twice here, that’s kind of a tough bottle to get in stores let alone a bar. Drafts are competitively priced. In conjunction with the cheap food, it’ll be a cheap meal out. None of the food are standouts imo. I do order the sweet potato fries with gravy on the side every time I come though. So it’s either really good and I haven’t realized it yet or someone needs to recommend me another bar that serves sweet potato fries with gravy on the side. Avoid wing deal days/times and seating will be easier to get.

After a long night of bar hoping in the area everyone was starving we decide to give this place a try. Once seated we ordered some beers, I had a Stella can’t go wrong. Food wise we went with some Nachos, Honey BBQ wings, regular wings, Boneless wings & some Tarter Tots. Nachos were decent good to share & a nice portion, lots of fixings with sour cream, beans, cheese & jalapeños only thing missing was the guacamole I think it was extra but come on they really should just give u some. Boneless wings were not bad, good if u don’t like dealing with the bones but just doesn’t feel like u are eating«wings» Regular wings were good as well I believe they were mild, not bad. The Tarter tots were great. Best thing was the honey BBQ wings for me. Good size wings, nice sauce not bad these were good. As for the place itself it’s a decent size, lots of seating front, back & they have a small bar area. Not much to be said of the décor simple fits the space. We had a large group & everything went well Decent prices, service was good our waitress was nice & attentive. Late night eating after having more than a few drinks is always a good idea, this place served its purpose.

Only 4 stars because of the B Food Grade Rating. I only come here for Beer and Wings. Cheap beers $ 5 – 8 that rotate often. Cheap wings that taste great. What more can you ask for? A bill for 2 can come up to $ 30 – 40 which is $ 20 per person! Super cheap for wings and beers in the city. Cry like a baby wings/sauce. It is SPICY yes you will tear up and have snot running down your face. But it’s manageable. If you are unsure order a small container of cry like a baby sauce on the side and give it a taste before order 10 wings. For some reason the hostess always sits you in the front room with the bar, if you are looking for something quieter and more intimate like a booth for your group, ask to be seated in the back room(all booths).

Mmmmm. wings. Started droppin’ in on weekends for wings years ago after they first opened… wing deals are great $ 0.20/$ 0.30 when you order a drink. Though they’re heavily sauced they fry them up really nice and crisp. Am a purist and go with plain old hot(buffalo style). Have never had the boneless ones. My only gripe is that if you want celery you have to pay extra for it(when doing wing deal, comes with when wing deal not going on). Food is generally good(burgers sandwiches, tacos), nothing to write home about though. They get really crowded when big sports events are on. All and all a pretty cool sports pub with darn good wings :-)

DONOTCOMEHEREUNLESSYOU’RE A REGULAR! In the hospitality industry, you’re supposed to be hospitable. Right? I went here as a group of 5 on a football Sunday. We showed up around noon well before any other patrons arrived. We obviously wanted a table with a good view at a TV. Here’s the hypocrisy in this entire ordeal. We were told we can’t sit until all members of the party were there. Fine, not uncommon. However, they allowed someone else to sit at a table while waiting for a few friends. Once our party was here we wanted to sit at a table with a good view. The manager said it was reserved for regulars… Ok I understand… So we picked out another one… Same situation, we did that 3 more times and finally they put us at a table in the back corner where you can’t view any tvs. Unless you’re a regular here do not bother to show up. The manager was also insanely rude. I felt bad for the hostess who was very sweet but the manager, my lord was she unprofessional. Yelling at us, giving us attitude. I’ve worked in the industry for over 8 years and I’ve never seen anything like it. I will never, ever, give them my business for the way we were treated.

Great happy hour wing specials at thirty cents apiece for bone in wings. If you want any of their special sauces, it’ll be another ten cents per wing, which seems unnecessary but it’s how they make money. First few sweet sriracha and hot wings really hit t the spot. Then the volume will get to you and fill you up. The nice thing about these wings is they’re at a good size, not some miniature wings. But the more you eat, the more you’ll notice that the wings are all made the same and then drowned in sauce so the insides are flavorless. I do remember the beer list being much more extensive. They only have maybe twelve on draft, then most of the rest are bottled beers. While pricing varies, the quality pours do not, which is nice. This was probably one of the first real craft bars around here but they sadly did not keep up with the times and have been eclipsed by others. You can definitely find more variety at other craft bars in NYC or Brooklyn and Queens.

Solid sports bar for some CHEAP and delicious wings !!! 30cent wings on almost all nights and either 20 cents or 10 cents select nights. Lots of TVs and large beer selection. I tried the croxleys blonde and it did not disappoint. The wings were really decent for the price !! Even the boneless wings were nice large chunks of white meat. The service was super fast and waitress very attentive. I will be back to watch some more football for sure !!!

I love coming to alphabet city for $.30 wings and $ 5 beer specials when I’m in the area. I knocked down a star because they have raised the price from 10 cents to 30 cents. Also, they used to never charge for carrots and celery but they charged me $ 2.50 this time around. I still like coming here for their good wings and still super cheap for an NYC bar. The service could have been better but the food is why I keep coming.

Came here on a Sunday to watch my favorite team. We were seated in the back where we could view the game. Can’t beat their deal on the classic wings and the $ 4 bloody Mary’s. Wasn’t a fan of their hostess or the wait staff at that. A great place to get some tasty cheap wings and watch football however.

Seems like a very popular spot on the East side ! We didn’t mind the wait because it was Thursday night football. Lots of action ! They have wings specials every day, all day ! The only requirement is a $ 5 drink minimum. Not a lot to choose from on the wing sauces. Just hot, med, mild or reg. I ordered 10 mild wings. The sauce was none existent … Very oily & had little flavor or sauce. I gave this place 4 stars because the atmosphere was very sports bar like & they had Bonnie rose whiskey ! Honestly Didn’t expect much from the food … The fries were good & crispy !

Okay so 20⁄30 cent wings exist here on Mondays and Wednesdays, but there are rules accompanying this deal! First, each person must get a drink that’s at least $ 5. Second, you must only order in increments of 5, starting at 10. Third, if you want flavored sauce, it’s extra. My cousin, her friend, and I got shots of whiskey(each $ 5) and we got 10 boneless hot wings and 30 hot with bone. They didn’t like the boneless, but I did. We got down and dirty. They were decent wings and filled us up, but I believe there are better deals in the city for wings and drinks, which I shall explore. Stay tuned.

I went here for happy hour with a group of my girlfriends to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs. We just wanted to grab a few drinks and watch the game nearby our apartments. I’d recommend this place if you are nearby, but I would not go out of my way to come here. it’s just a standard sports bar. BAROVERVIEW: –When you walk in there are a few tables seated near the open windows — it looked fun to sit there, but I imagine you have to get there really early after work. –The place has stools all long the long bar. The room is a bit narrow and gets crowded from the people watching the games. –There are TONS of TVs, so if you are coming to watch a game, you definitely wont miss it whenever you are sitting. –There are booths in the back for groups who want to sit. –There is also a connecting room that is mainly just for eating. I don’t think they have TVs there — just a bunch of booths. FOOD: –We got wings and nachos. I didn’t have the wings, but friends liked them. Not out of this world wings, but standard. –The nachos were good too! Again, nothing out of the ordinary. DRINKS: –We ordered beers and I actually had a Maker’s on the rocks. I love whiskey: D SERVICE: –The service was good when we sat, but then once we got our food and a round of drinks, they didn’t really come that often to check on us. It was really crowded though, so I think they just needed more waiters/waitresses.

My best friend had told me one night after work 8 years ago when we used to work in Blockbuster on Houston st about Croxleys and their wing specials! THANKS J . I Can never get enough of this place. Where else do you know will have 100 different beers and 10cent and 20 cent wings everyday except Fridays. Croxleys is a god sent. The food is delicious and the deals that come with the wings are amazing. I never had a bad experience in this place. By far one of my favorite spots in the city. You can always stop by and grab a couple of brewskys and enjoy some really delicious unhealthy bar food. They also have 5 dollar nacho nights on Tuesdays. They also now have added my favorite German beer that you can also get in the Monster German size cups for the same price you would pay at a German beer garden. This is definitely a place you can just feast out and get your drink on. My favorite bar in NYC for the last 8 years.

Lust auf Chicken Wings und Bier? Dann bist du hier genau richtig! Denn Montag, Dienstag und Mittwoch gibt hier Chicken Wings, so viel wie du willst. Jedes Teil kostet nur unglaubliche 10 cent. Macht also für 20 Wings schlappe 2 Dollar. Total normal in New York. Drum herum hängen etliche Bildschirme für den passiven Sport was eben gerade läuft.
