I had the 3 piece chicken to go for lunch. The chicken was good. Crunchy coating was tasty. The 3 piece was perfect for lunch. The buns were a little small.

Gotta love your neighborhood Crown spot. Where else can you get Sweet Potato Pies and Fried Chicken wings in the wee hours of the morning?! I pledge the Crown oath, to never disappoint when it comes to the munchies at 2 in the morning!

It’s a typical chicken spot. Many undesirable people frequent these establishments. From bums to hoodlums.

I used to live around the corner from this crown fried chicken and i LIVE for their hot wings. forget the regular fried chicken(i never know how long it’s been sitting out!) it’s all about the 6 or 9-piece hot wings, no fries. those babies look small but they pack a punch. i hate when red/orange sauce ends up all over your face from ravaging a delicious piece of chicken. hot wings that are non-saucy and crunchy FTW!

Popeye’s is a way better choice(chicken wise) but if you want some good munchies and milkshakes it is worth the annoying wait in most locations. CASHONLY — BTW

I guess I’m the first one to review this Crown Fried Chicken. Strange. I originally wanted to check out this fried chicken chain’s location in Chinatown, mostly because it was, in fact, a fried chicken joint in CHINATOWN of all places, but fate(and a friend who wanted to meet for lunch who goes to CUNY City College) brought me to this location. We arrived a bit early in the lunch hour, and were initially told that the chicken wasn’t ready yet but, if we came back in fifteen minutes, it would be served to us fresh. Somewhat disappointed, we wandered around City College for a bit(so nice! I wish I went there.) before making our way back down. A mere $ 6.00 landed me not two but THREE rather large pieces of juicy and nicely breaded fried chicken along with fries, a biscuit, and even a soda! A fabulous deal, even if the biscuit and fries were fairly lackluster. All was gorged on on the steps leading to the City College cafeteria, before hauling ass back downtown for an afternoon class.
