My only encounter with this company was at Art Chicago, which is Chicago’s biggest annual art fair. They have an antiques floor where this company had a booth. My friend and I being a bit tired from walking around the fair, came upon 3 large sofa chairs, one of which had a middle aged man reclining in one. He looked relaxed with his hands clasped behind his head. We sat in the other chairs facing him, and started to talk about a mirror on the wall. My friend asked him if he knew the style of the mirror. After maybe 5 minutes, the man got up and said, «Can I help you with anything?» We were really surprised and had no idea he worked there because he’d been sitting there looking at us the whole time. He just looked like a guy who was also taking a break. My friend replied, «Oh no thanks, we’re just relaxing for a moment. Can we sit here?» To which he said a stern, «NO.» Then got up an walked away. If you want to buy furniture from judgmental, snobbish, weirdos who stare, this is the place for you.
