Cosmic Fischer Locksmith

Went in for a simple key copy — and they were done quickly. I was assured that they were perfect copies and I wouldn’t have to come back for replacements. I got back to my apartment and sure enough, I had 4 copies of the same key instead of 2 copies of 2 seperate keys.
When paying a premium price, I would expect that these guys would be experts — but I can see now that I could save my money and get the same result at Home Depot.

I work for a small business in a 15 story building literally across the street from these guys. My boss wanted new locks and a key fob lock for the front door. I inquried a few different locks smiths in the area and they guys were the 1^st to respond. Pricing was more than reasonable
I let them know exactly what I wanted and they came out the same day within a few hours. Not too sure of the gentlemen they sent over, but he met with my boss and needless to say he was our top pick immediately. Imformative, helpful and answered all the questions my boss had.
They had to schedule the work we wanted for two days, but that was seamless because they sent one locksmith to do the locks one day and the very next day early morning two other gentelmen came in to do the front door. They explained how everything operated and even cleaned up after themselves when they were through.
Very pleased! And would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a locksmith.

Pros: Fast and quick. You’ll be in and out in a minute once they get to you.
Cons: The owner knows his stuff really well but he is always yelling at the phone. The first time I came here he took 10 minutes to even look up at me.
Just hope that someone else working there comes out of the back room and spots you if the owner is busy because he will not even talk to you.

Never, ever, EVER use this company. I don’t care how many stars it has.
They came in and jiggled my lock — it was stuck, but they didn’t do ANYTHING else and it cost me $ 120. A HUNDRED AND TWENTY FUCKING DOLLARS. They didn’t say anything about the price just to come over on the phone. Really fucking ridiculous.
The guy they sent was nice, but insisted that there was nothing he could do.

These guys are always polite and attentive, and their key copies actually work.

I have an apartment key that can’t be copied without a number code. I needed an extra key as the top part that attached to the key chain was broken. I brought the key in to be copied but one of the numbers I had written down for the number code was incorrect, but I didn’t realize that and that’s the number they used. When I went home the key didn’t work. I brought it back and they checked it and it seemed fine and they rekeyed it to make sure it was done right. I went home and it still didn’t work. When I went back again the locksmith took my original key (not the one that was broken) and used it to figure out the alphanumeric characters necessary to copy the key. It turned out one of the numbers on my code wasn’t correct. I had to go back twice, but they did ultimately fix it, I had two copies made, and got the correct combination number for the key. They were very helpful.

Absolutely terrible, do not use these people. They should have been out of business yesterday.
I went here to get three keys copied – simple job you say. However, after ignoring me by eating a sandwich for the first minute I was in the shop, the sweaty key guy made three key copies in about 30 seconds. Two of the three keys worked, but it took a lot of jiggling to get the things to open my doors. Then I discovered the that third key was just a duplicate of the second key.
So, for $ 5 I got two terrible copies and a copy of one of those. Thanks for the pieces of metal guys.

I got locked out of my apartment last night and found Cosmic Fischer on my phone. They were one of the 24-​hr locksmiths in my neighborhood. Chris was the emergency specialist who came to see me and help me get into my apartment. He was very empathetic, professional, and effective.
