Ordered the melt, came out cold… Asked the manager she then took the sandwich I had already bitten placed it back behind the counter«to heat.» Appx ten mins later she returned the same sandwich to me(after the rest of my party was done eating) cold…

Dropped by on two consecutive Feed This City Fridays and this place was the best organized and friendliest, with the Chef greeting folks on line and an extra bag of chips with each sandwich.

Came to pick up a free Tuscan pesto chicken sandwich — of all locations I visited on the Fridays of November(thanks to the promotion), this one was the most organized, filled with the nicest staffs! The bread maker encouraged me to take multiple samples. The cashier kept track of my order with a number. Service was fast, food was fresh and tasty. I would be back!

Got the flatbread sandwich and it was just ok, not much to rave about. BUT the bread sample(near the cashier counter) was nothing short of AMAZING. It was hot(fresh out of oven), crunchy, chewy, with the perfect amount of seasoning. I would totally order something random from the menu just to have more bread.

We came in and it was essentially empty. Ordered our food and waited and waited. After 15 minutes we asked where it was. They obviously had forgotten our order which would seem hard to do since we were the only people in there! We got at food at 21 minutes. For 3 croissants and bagel! It did taste good but come on people! Wake up!

This place is just okay. There was a nice and cozy feel to this place, maybe hence the name«cosi». Or maybe I am just corny. The food reminded me of airplane or airport food. Just decent. There is nothing on the menu that I would crave to have again, but maybe just the soup? I did not get to try the soup, but my friend had it and raved about it. Their flatbread is not so bad and they even offer free samples, which is very nice.

Extremely and arrogantly slow service… You could sit down and finish a meal at a waiter service restaurant by the time they bring out your food here. Will not be dining here again. Bunch of slackers who she it very clear they do not want you to trouble them by ordering food here. Go elsewhere!!!

People were very nice and helpful but place was a little dirty. Haven’t been to Cosi in a while and probably won’t go back soon. I got the Thai curry tofu bowl. The rice was from the burnt bottom and the tofu was like a leather chew.

The waitress gave me a free cup of coffee and she said my smile made her day. But the truth is she made my day. It’s a beautiful place with cozy environment right next to school and the coffee here is very good. Love it.

I went here for the first time today early this morning after having a rough start to my day and right before I was going to take a final. I have to say the girl at the register was so nice. I was able to get exactly what I was looking for to start my day. Great service and great options! It was actually very refreshing to receive such great service. It might have just been a little thing but it definitely made my day much better. I currently attend NYU and I will be coming here more often.

Great atmosphere and fast service. If you are busy and want to grab a simple quick lunch salad while be seated in a quiet place this is the ideal place for you. However, the salad is little overpriced with the amount of food they provide.

*** Great service, Cozy Atmosphere, Review specifically on their Chicken Adobo Bowl *** Honestly, I haven’t branched out of their one menu item(the chicken adobo bowl) because it’s so good! The staff is very helpful and they bring your meal to where you are sitting. A lot of people say this is similar to Panera but I find it cheaper and better quality(in my opinion). Back to the bowl, it comes with bread of your choice. You’ll definitely be filled up afterwards. Highly recommend if you’re in a rush or looking for a quick bite.

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write a review for Cosi’s! Ever since I first discovered it this semester, I’ve gone at least once a week. During midterms week, I think I went to Cosi’s to pick up dinner every single day. I used to be a huge fan of Panera but Cosi’s is much better. Although their sandwiches are pretty expensive, their tomato basil soup isn’t. It’s less than $ 5.00 and comes with their amazing whole wheat bread. SOGOOD. I could eat it every single day(and I have, haha). The people who work in Cosi’s are also always very friendly. I usually do work at Cosi’s and one time my pen ran out of ink. The person at the register was really nice and let me borrow one of hers. Cosi’s is a great place to do work or to pick up food when you’re on the go.

The food here is below average. I had never been to a Cosi before today. Its freakishly similar to Panera, but maybe slightly worse. Unlike most of the others who have reviewed this location, i found the staff to be friendly and competent. The lady working at the cash registrar was chummy and she even told me a bit about her favorite cooking show. All the other employees were pleasant too. The food was nothing memorable. I had the buffalo bleu sandwich. The lettuce was wilted, there wasn’t enough buffalo sauce and overall it was pretty tasteless. Honestly, I wasn’t really coming here for the food. I wanted a spacious lunch spot that I could lounge at for a while and get some work done. For doing so, this place is pretty good. There’s plenty of space, wifi and they don’t bother you for hanging around long after you’ve eaten. I won’t come back for the food. But if I’m ever in the area and need somewhere to get some things done, then I’ll be back.

Tried the chicken and spinach flat bread which has onions on top. It comes in a pretty big order for lunch for one and I was quite pleased with it. It seemed fresh and was very tasty. The vinaigrette gave it the tang it needs and cuts the heaviness of the cheese. I also picked up the chia seed pudding dessert in nutella. It was interesting but taste good and just like regular pudding that you’ll find in the grocery store. Now that I work in the area, I know I’ll be visiting or ordering from Cosi more often.

I used to grab lunch here weekly for over a year but then I stopped going a few months ago because I just got bored with the food. Last week I decided to give it another try. Big mistake! The cheddar/broccoli soup was mediocre and the Tuscan chicken sandwich didn’t taste right; some of the chicken bits were undercooked. I could tell because the chicken was gummy and really chewy, so I only ate some of the sandwich. Shortly after eating I had an upset stomach. The next day: FOODPOISONING! It took me a week to fully recover! Unless you want to risk stomach pain and multiple trips to the bathroom then stay away from this place.

I originally had this place at 4 stars because of its bread and consistency in food. I had soon changed it to 3 stars after having come a bit more often. My food were burnt twice and there was no compensation. I finally now have to give this place the 1 star that it deserves. The management is lacking here, everyone’s role is disorganized and the food was taking longer and longer to dish out(they had forgotten about my order and ended up switching it with another customer’s order). And the last time I was there, not only did they forget about my order, they couldn’t produce it with no explanation as to why they couldn’t.(waited 22 minutes) I will not be coming back.

Didn’t think this place could get worse but it did. I came here because another restaurant I originally planned on going was under renovations. HORRIBLESERVICE and the manager wasn’t even managing the place properly. The guy in the chief outfit had to call the rude girl out to take orders. He seems to be the only one doing work. The chubby girl who took slowly walked out from who knows where stared into space, looked cranky the entire time and talked with an attitude as if my friend and I ordered something ridiculous.(We asked for their bowl dish without beans) To top the bad service, seating areas were dirty: uncleaned tables and dirty chairs. Lastly the food quality fell below the usual chain quality. Worst cosi ever. Highly advise against this one. Go to another cosi if you are craving their bread.

Cosi is a solid place to hang/dine/read/do work in/catch up with people in. The signature salad is the bomb. What is in that dressing??! It’s the best salad dressing I’ve ever had. Tomato basil soup is also amazing. They have two big red couches, but they’re dirty every time I’m here. Boo.

Just when I don’t think this place can possibly get worse, it does. From the time I wrote my last review to now, I’ve been here at least two times. I can definitely say with confidence that none of those times were pleasant. Here are some instances: 1. I get there and no one is working the register for at least five minutes. HOW is that even okay? HOW? After I finally ordered, I was waiting for my soup to go. I get home — it is the WRONGSOUP. Again — HOW? There were literally 2 people on line when I was there at 8PM. They were obviously not busy. Unacceptable. 2. Another time I went, there was actually someone working the register — things can only go up from there right? Wrong. I ordered my food and wanted a mojito lemonade. Problem: they didn’t have ice to make the mojito lemonade. I don’t even understand how that is even possible, but I stopped trying to understand how things work here. I gave up and just said I’ll have a lemonade. I go over to the drinks area and realize that the cashier should have given me a cup. When I went back(patiently waiting as 2 people finished ordering), she looked at me like I was crazy and asked if I needed something. Come if you want to feel disrespected and have no better place to spend your time and money.
