CLM Makeup

Carla is something of a sweet, petite, stylish talent-​tornado. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I was only in Manhattan for the day, and was determined to take engagement pictures with my fiancée on the Brooklyn Bridge. Amidst intermittent thunderstorms, Carla agreed to do my makeup at the place where I was going to get my hair done. She came right on time, with a suitcase almost as big as she is, filled to the brim with every type of makeup product. She explained everything she did and helped me to feel so much more comfortable – especially because she clearly knows what she’s doing. Once she knew it was a photo shoot, and one that would take place outside, she knew what she had to do: she honored my wishes to make it look like a glam form of «natural,» but with just enough oomph that it would translate into the pictures. It did. It didn’t look unnatural at all. You just have to trust her, and you will be in very good hands. I’m very grateful to have found her.
