I came here for a wine night with my fiancé. We had read about it in thrillist and thought it would be fun to check this place/event out. The space is pretty large is size with nice views in a great locations definitely good for a wide variety of events.

Let me start by saying that I’m going to be pretty famous soon so don’t be surprised if my photos look familiar or when you see me on the downtown-bound F train at 6pm, «Covergirl» pops into your head. Yes, my friends… I’m going to be in a commercial. Not just any commercial, no, no an America’s Next Top Model Faux Fashion Show Covergirl commercial featuring one of the tall nameless nobodies with hacked off hair from Sacramento, CA that was easily out-shined by my presence in the second row. I don’t want to forget the little people that helped me reach this level of fame: Miriam W gets a special shout out, as she has the friend who has a friend who produce the show. Since I’d never been to a fashion show in NYC, I tried to think of it as more of a real experience of a Tibi fashion show at Industria rather than a production. The space was beautiful and open, very much a blank canvas in which someone could fill any number of scenarios whether it’s a party, a magazine shoot or fashion show. I think they also do equipment rentals and there sure were about a gazillion cameras shooting pictures and a big arm camera peeking around at everyone… it stopped on me while I was on my cell phone which immediately means my shots will NOT be on the cutting room floor. The pre-show reception with wine and beer got me nice and relaxed before my screen time and while the little gift bag filled with CG goodies was meant for someone with brown eyes and an olive complexion, I simply traded and forgave the crew their slip-up…I’m not gonna pull a Christian Bale in front of everyone. I mean, I’m a professional. I also must note that upon arrival I immediately recognized this as the space from«The City» where that ano-model with the cheating boyfriend did her sexy Nylon photo shoot. So not only was I in a fashion show, a commercial and a reality TV show about wannabee models, but I was also in a show about twentysomethings that are really good at expressing themselves through facial expressions. It feels good at the top.
