I was really excited to try this place in my new hood. Especially so after seeing its 4.5 stars on here. Wow, what disappointment. I’ve been twice now. My first time was in the morning. That trip they didn’t have any pastries, none. It was early, but still why open without your pastry selection out? I was disappointed. I gave I another shot. I came back and bought a piece of cake. It was $ 5, yeah $ 5. It was almost inedible. The cakes texture was good, plenty of moisture and good crumb, but it was almost overly fatty as though they used too much of whatever their fat binder was in the recipe. The icing was disgusting– overly fatty has well and the sugar wasn’t even mixed into the icing completely, it was still granular. Such a bad texture in your mouth. I might give them another shot, but with Gratitude nearby and so many places popping up, this place has to raise its game.

Fantastic place for fresh croissants(ham and cheese is my favourite), fresh sandwiches, fresh baguettes, Mexican coke(and Mexican Fanta!) and italian dry goods(pasta, sauces, etc). Lovely staff. They also have vegan stuff that I’m told doesn’t taste any different from regular baked goods.

I love this cute, neighborhood bakery. I’m not vegan but I’ve tried both their vegan baked scones and the regular and I can’t tell a difference. Both are delicious! They have a very small grocery section. Dairy, eggs, select jarred goods, etc. Same stuff you’d find at a stall in a farmer’s market. I’m only sad that they only make savory scones, and biscuits on the weekend. Ah well, I’ll have to enjoy the mixed berry!

Super cute little bakery with a counter up front, and a few shelves with grocery items. They had lemon bars, red velvet cake, and a vegan«magnolia» cake in the case, and croissants, muffins, brownies and some other pastries on the counter. They do all the baking on site and it smells amazing! I got a carrot cake muffin — a little on the dry side, but otherwise delicious. They also have coffee, so this might be my new morning go-to spot!
