Church of St. Veronica

St. Veronica’s church serves the community, as a church should. It was established in 1887 and the current church building was built starting 1890.
The church, located two blocks from the Hudson River on Christopher street in the West Village, is extremely important to the community; starting in the 80s, the church became active in the growing AIDS crisis, even to remodeling the rectory to provide housing for AIDS patients. I’ve attended various meetings there over the years.
It’s a striking brick Neo-​Gothic building with a rose window in the front.
Oh, and now, of course, they can marry anybody!

The Church of St. Veronica opened its door to serve Roman Catholics of the West Village in 1887. This review is based on its basement area serving as a multi purpose meeting space for gatherings of bible studies group and various nonreligious functions. A raised stage of a school auditorium is available for usage. Facilities are available in the basement area, amid the Porcelain Thrones are excessively loud for disturbance.
