Jason the private client banker without authorization added services to my account. When contacted he never followed up and other opinions indicate this was not an error or mistake. This appears to be a consistent and deliberate effort to misrepresent to chase his performance in an effort to meet a quota… Needless to say this type of behavior violates banking rules and regulations as a banker has no right to make changes to an account without a customers express authorization.

Oh hell no, Chase! This branch was were a lot of French expats in NY came to open an account. Your main point of contact always changes, because there is a lot of turnover. They make you wait… too long. But it is ok according to them, because they give you candy in exchange.
Online, it is a mess: replies go from ‘we did not do it because something was missing but we did not warn you’ to a simple ‘no’. And what about having to contact my account manager EVERY month because I was charged incorrectly? In general, the Chase account was way too expensive for what you get.
So no, I will never open an account at Chase again (I closed mine by the way), not in this branch, not in any other.

Best Chase branch I’ve been to in a long while. Great customer service. Speedy, efficient and very professional. And unlike other Chase branches I’ve been to, they get the hint that no, you don’t want to invest in any investments, no, you’ll pass on being a Chase private client, no, you don’t want to engage in any other Chase products, etc. No heavy handed sales tactics pitched here. I went there geared for a «fight» but didn’t have to and left feeling my wishes were respected.

As my coworker says «customer service is everything!» This branch really makes you feel like a worthy, worthwhile customer. Everyone wants to know how they can help you. Even if I have a simple withdraw, and there is a line, a manager or someone will take me to their desk to help. I really appreciate their helpfulness and attention to detail and being that its below my office, it is super convenient!

I like this branch of Chase sometimes when I have to stop in Rockefeller Center. It’s below ground and accessible from 7th avenue or 5th avenue. This is also convenient if it’s raining. THere is also all sorts of food options underground as well, so it can make for easy and quick stops to various places.
There are usually lines here though, waiting just to deposit a check can be tiring. Alas, what can ya do, it’s midtown.

This branch is on the corner of 6th Ave and 50th St inside the Exxon building. It’s two floors — ground floor as well as one floor below which is reachable through the Rockefeller Center underground concourse.
You may find this either convenient or annoying, but there are always a ton of personal bankers milling around who will greet you immediately and see if you need any help. There seems to be fewer tellers because there is sometimes a line, but it’s not a big deal. They offer notary services for bank account holders which has proven to be extremely convenient. Everyone who works there is reasonably friendly and competent.
