Came here in between lunch and dinner, just wanted something light to fill my stomach. I ordered the white fish and white tiger. Half of my order is drowned in vinegar and everything was just too sour. I want to love this place because I absolutely love ceviche. But this is a huge let down, and I’m not sure if I would come back again — the serving size was small(palm size) and cost me $ 9.

Was drawn to this place bc I love fish and shrimp tacos and I like to eat clean and healthy. I ordered one shrimp and one white fish taco which came up to $ 10 including tax. So disappointed and not worth the money! Tasteless meager portions. For quality inexpensive shrimp and fish tacos and burritos I’m staying with Diablito’s in the LES until something better comes out. The chef should check them out

I stopped by here today with a couple of friends. The food came out pretty quickly, but I feel as if I did not get enough fish in the ceviche bowl that I paid for. Also they barely put any sauce. I feel like this place can do better in having sauces available to the customers on the table where the water is. Overall I think the food was good and so was the service.

I got a solo instead of a bowl because I wasn’t that hungry but was in the area and I’ve been wanting to try Cevich since they opened. I got the basic Wild Tiger one with shrimp. It was extremely watery. Not enough shrimp, tons of red onions and seriously the whole thing was basically water. It wasn’t worth it, which is a damn shame because I love ceviche. I wouldn’t spend $ 11 for some mediocre ceviche. Not a fan.

I’ve been to ceviche a couple of times since I work a couple of blocks away. Well let me start off the staff is friendly, last time I went the girl was training but she was pleasant. I usually order the pulled pork tacos, which are amazing(I know not the healthiest choice) but still it’s a treat once in a while. The décor is nice, it has a sense of an island feel but modern. Place was busy, which is nice to see, also clean

Review on delivery. Let me start off by saying the food is quite good and I order it all the time. The problem is that more often than not something is missing or messed up in our order. Sometimes it is the chips, sometimes the salsa and other times there is a totally different order than what we requested. If this was once or twice i would say whatever but it really happens about 50% of the time. It is even more annoying because they nickle and dime you for everything and wont let you change something like sauce without charging a «change fee»(even if both items are the same price!) To their credit, they have been good about sending the missing items but if I need to wait an addition 20 – 30 minutes to eat it gets old really fast. With that said, check this place out if you are picking up or eating it. Their fish is fresh and the rice is awesome! Just be SURE to double check your order when it comes and even if you are taking it away at the counter! I really think the counter people/order packers are a bit special or just don’t care. Either way, not cool at this price point.

A very welcome addition to an already awesome area for good food. The menu is awesome with both ceviche and fun twists on carnivorous delights. Shredded chicken taco with bacon?! Served with a tangy sauce and pickled veggies. C’mon. But the ceviche is where it’s at. Expertly prepared, always delicious, and a super cool staff. The owners are often there(if not in the kitchen — viewable from the front counter) and are lovely & charming. Get thee to the Cevichery!

First thing I noticed was the delicious smell(always a good sign), the cute décor and the 2 hanging chairs. Ordered the bowl with coconut rice, mixed fish and lime in da coconut flavoring… OMG…so fresh and tasty and also had the guacamole with goat cheese mmmmm. Would definitely go back next time I’m in NYC to try another combo. Oh ya, and the cashier gave us a bag of popcorn to throw in the dish… interesting indeed!

You want sushi for lunch but then you realize how boring 90% of it is but you also can’t bring yourself to gorge another Chipotle sour cream football or another bowl of watery lettuce that someone is calling a salad. Cevich is that in-between when you want something fresh, citrusy and snappy that’s also more sizable than the first and second course at Per Se. The fish is incredibly fresh with a healthy texture and tastes like the ceviche was mixed minutes before and not yesterday in the back of a hot van. A totally loaded dish will set you back about $ 18 so be ready for that.

I’ve eaten here a few times and been very satisfied. Food looks good, tastes great, is fresh, and reasonably-priced for fresh seafood. Given that, I called today on short notice to cater a meal for my staff of thirty(most fast-casual places like Chipotle still require 24 hours for catering, and I get that. The manager Reina, gave me amazing service, including keeping me updated via text. Staff said it was the best meal we’ve done(and they have every variety of dietary restriction, from gluten-free to meat-free). We did a variety of ceviches and tacos, everything came perfectly-labeled. Definitely doing this all the time. Nicely done Reina and Cevich.

Saw this restaurant on my way to the eddie bauer grand opening earlier this week. By the way, if you never been to eddie bauer, go check it out. Got some great outdoor gears and clothes there. Comparable with my belove REI soho. If you don’t know me yet… you will, I totally dig out doorsy everything. So REI and Eddie Bauer are my go to stores. Worth checking out if you ever needed any outdoor gear ~ hiking, biking, skiing, rock climbing, camping, etc… you get the idea. Now back to Ceviche… woah! The food is amazing! I never had this type of food before so I was amazed by the combination of flavors. Yummy in my mouth with each bite. I ordered the cali fresh signature bowl with white fish, coconut rice. Delicious. Only down side, its pricy and portions are small. But I would definitely come back again. The owner/manager(?) White lady, seems very involved in the restaurant flavors/food making process as I saw her taste testing the sauces in the semi open kitchen. So I assume she was the owner. As a Dietitian, foodie, and someone who works in the foodservice industry, I actually appreciate that as it shows respect and pride for one’s product/work. So I am not surprise then that the sauce and flavors are delicious. The lady did come by to my booth/table and asked if everything was okay. I replied yes, everything is delicious, then she went on to fixing some drinks in the open fridge in front of my booth and went back into the kitchen. But I think the real reason she came by was cause my friend was eating outside food and I had a bottle of water that I brought in from another event(free water from popup shop dressbar, just next door to eddie bauer NYC). And I was charging my phone at one of the outlets near my Booth/table, so I guess she wanted to see what was going on. Can’t blame her thou. But she was very professional about it and didn’t comment or make a scene, which I respect and appreciate. I was able to enjoy my food and we sat there for some time chatting(half hr probably), so I could charge a bit of juice into my phone. Definitely try this place out if you haven’t done so already. And since I just plugged about REI and Eddie Bauer. Let me also plug Dress Bar. I love that store so far, its a revamp line of dress barn. The dresses are beautiful. Worth taking a look, at price ranges under $ 100, you are bound to find something. The store near union square is popup store that will be closing at end of this month May, but there are other permanant locations throughout NYC. Go check it out if you are interested. *Disclaimer: I do not work nor know anyone from these three shops ~ REI, Eddie Bauer, or Dress Bar. I am promoting them just because I love their products and thought you might too. Enjoy!

More like soup-ish*, amirite? Dropped by shortly after they opened at 11 for their ‘1YEARANNIVERSARY&CINCODEMAYO’** all day specials: $ 5 Ceviche and $ 1 Salsa & Chips rendering $ 17+ of food $ 6+. They were crazed but friendly & apologetic, and the order emerged slowly. It wasn’t packaged properly, so the nice blue bag was soiled almost immediately by said ceviche liquid. The White Fish Wild Tiger Solo was fine, not that substantial and not that tasty. The chips were your standard salsa with a couple whole black beans mixed in, not at all what I was expecting and as such VERY steep for $ 6, but the corn on the side was the best part of the meal Skipped the more enticing-sounding Evening Celebration of Free Sangria & Snacks and the perennial Taco Tuesday: Buy 2 Tacos Get 1 Free(There’s also a Seamless/Grubub offer for 10% off first order). *Pronounced to rhyme with Cevich, with a hint of ‘S.O.B.’ **lack of hyphenation and caps theirs

This place is my new obsession. Some basic deets: counter service order with 20-ish seats. Good for quick bite or take out/delivery. Super helpful staff and clean place. The food: just awesome. It’s basically a build-your-own ceviche concept that’s super easy to navigate. Pick a protein(white fish, salmon, shrimp or mushroom medley), choose your style/sauces(classic styles, citrus, coconut, spicy or santorini… which is an awesome kalamata olive with feta sauce)…and then your base(greens, quinoa or coconut rice). You can build them in a mixed bowl or as sides to blend yourself. Highly suggest the white fish santorini style over coconut rice. And the guava feta guac as a starter with housemade chips. Also tried the tacos, but ask them to go light on the sauces. The food and fish is all very fresh, so no need to overwhelm it. If the DIY approach is too daunting, they have lots of menu recommendations that are good blends of flavors.

This was such a refreshing quick-service place to give a try. It is located on 15th Street right off Union Square. We went in around 9:30 pm and the place was empty and near closing time. There is plenty of room to sit, lots of tables and chairs, even a hammock chair. Service was very friendly. We tried the Mother Clucker burrito and the Cali Fresh bowl. Both were great. For about $ 25 for two people, this was great.

Ehhhhh. Nothing special about Cevich to me. Ordered the shrimp Aji Me and it wasn’t even spicy or citrusy enough. Normally when I have ceviche in Cali, it comes with chips or tostada shells – not used to getting corn nuts on steroids. I do give Cevich a plus for shrimp quality and it wasn’t mushy in texture.

Hit. The. Spot. Hankerin’ for a quick bite before heading home. Counter gal was keeping the house beta company, but happily greeted us upon approaching the counter. She filled us in on all the happenings of the menu. All sounded so delicious that it was hard to decide! Have a traditional(or non traditional) bowl of ceviche with your choice of seafood, add coconut rice/greens/quinoa orrr make it a burrito or taco! Plenty of options for the masses who enjoy seafood. My only gripe? The price. Two people, 1 bowl with white fish + coconut rice and 1 burrito = $ 27.75. Look, I realize that’s the price of seafood. But with its«fast food» style set up, $ 20 seemed more appropriate. Regardless, service was outstanding, and dishes were delish! Say that fast five times.

Just amazing! Last Friday my friend and I stumbled across this place in search of food before our night of festivities. The ceviche is very very food here and I’ve been to Peru. They could use more seating if it gets busy. Sit in the hammock seats and swing away! Definitely coming back here!

Not your average ceviche joint! Walked in curious to try something new… when I approached the counter I was greeted with a warm welcome. The guy behind the counter asked if this was my first time and when I said yes his eyes literally sparkled lol he began to tell me whats what on the menu and how the various ways I could proceed to make my meal. Chose a bowl with quinoa, greens, the tuna special, and in the Santorini style. Also ordered one each of their tacos. Tacos were kick ass with just a little bite to them. Fresh and clean tasting with tons of flavor. The Tuna special in their Santorini style was absolutely delicious and satisfying. Definitely a nice addition to the neighborhood and great option for those looking for a lighter, healthier option for a filling meal!

Great idea. Not so great execution. Ceviche for lunch and you don’t have to order sit down? As soon as I heard about Cevich I knew I had to stop in. Unfortunately the magic wore off quickly. Ordering was unnecessarily complicated /annoying. So many things were an extra cost(avocado, «wild caught» fish) and the guy who took my order tried to upsell me everything else on the menu, making sure to confirm that I really didn’t want every single item(yes, I don’t want a drink, a dessert, or extra toppings). The meal itself was not awful, but it could’ve been better. I got a white fish Ecuadorian bowl with coconut rice. Honestly the best of the meal was the rice and onions. The coconut was so fragrant and simple, not sweet or salty, just the essence. The onions with the tangy sauce made for a great pairing with the rice, even more so than the fish. The fish didn’t taste too fresh and I was disappointed by the toughness and texture. My stomach wasn’t in the happiest place later that night either. Last note, this is one expensive lunch. Almost $ 15 for a bowl, I know I won’t be back unless they clean up their act. I really want to like you guys!

Cevich… A modern twist on a traditional Hispanic dish. I saw this place on Unilocal and it screamed«try me!» It reminds me of chipotle except with fish and shrimp. I’m not a big fan of fish so I opted for their Ecuadorean burrito with shrimp. Seriously, it was bursting with flavors. When they say coconut rice, they mean COCONUTRICE. The veggies and avocado tasted so fresh, along with the shrimp(although there could have been more). My boyfriend ordered the full on Cevich– the wild tiger and surely enough it was wild! They hooked him up– lots of seafood and definitely a fresh citrusy sauce that screams Cevich. Price wise it’ll run you about $ 10-$ 14, not bad for fresh seafood in the city. The staff here is super nice and super fast. I love restaurants that explain how things work if it’s your first time because Cevich is one of those different takes on traditional dishes that people don’t know about– it’s not like chipotle, but it’s good! Also the place itself is hidden off union square west… But you can’t miss the turquoise blue walls and roped hammock seat, perfect addition to the seaside resemblance. I really enjoyed it here and if you’re in union square be sure to stop by!
