Rarely do I post a review… That said, this place is average on a good day and ridiculously expensive. Turkey sandwich? $ 9.95, which they heat for you in a steamer which gives you hard bread if you don’t eat it within 2 minutes or, mushy if you at it immediately. Thy are trying to rob the tourists who get off at Rector for the 9⁄11 museum. Shame on them. Don’t go here. Food is nothing special and its crazy expensive.

The prices are ridiculous, too much for my likings. It’s just a casual place to eat, nothing fancy at all. Just a normal deli. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because the workers are super nice and their food was really good. The workers talked to me the entire time I was there eating breakfast, being the only customer inside. They were so friendly, and they definitely knew how to make a breakfast sandwich! I was satisfied by the time I left. If your friendly and show you love your customers, that really helps make a business great!

Two words: Food poisoning. Ate a breakfast sandwich that I will regret for years to come. Too bad because the staff is very nice.

I got food poisoning today after I had one of their«Monterey» panini. The filling for the panini looked highly suspect but I ate it anyway having skipped breakfast and lunch. It is now a few hours later and I currently have severe stomach cramps and have thrown up several times already. I know it’s from the panini because it’s the only thing I ate all day. Customers be warned of the freshness and the proper preparation and handling of the food.

Stopped in here on the way back to my hotel bc I was absolutely starving. While you can customize your pizza, you can’t buy by the slice and it’s a little expensive for the quality. Definitely mediocre at best. It served its purpose at the time but I wouldn’t go again.

Neat place for pizza, muffin, croissant or rocky road cookie. That’s it. Staff is not too friendly. Open after midnight.

They have nice premade wraps and are open pretty late. I used to come buy and always get the same kind of chips because it was the only café in the area that had the type I like(horseradish cheddar) and the cashier began to recognize me which is always pleasant. Unfortunately a very small selection of beverages.

The cheesecake was awesome. When we come the personnel proposed just made strawberry cheesecake. We take two and it was really worth to try. As for croissant and coffee it was OK.

Short and sweet. Coffee is great. Service his horrible. Paid $ 6 something for a STALE éclair just so I could get my minimum up to $ 5 and pay with card. I’ll repeat, iced coffee was legitimately great though.

Ordered an eggplant parm panini — it came on a big bulky roll not at all what I wanted. Eggplant tasted microwaved, wasn’t crisp and had an old flavor to it. The whole thing was a miss and went right into my trash can. Oh and this was after it was delivered to the wrong address, despite me having put in very clear directions. I order almost everyday for lunch and no other restaurants have ever been confused.

Terrible, terrible they charge me $ 7 for a microwave egg with 1 strip bacon on a roll. That is crazy even for NYC prices. The girl behind the counter charge me for 2 eggs and bacon or ham. What a ripped off. Never again !

I ordered an omelette to-go this morning. They charged me $ 7.00! WTF?! No toast or potatoes, just a lame omelette. The chic behind me got 2 egg wraps for $ 6. Why do I get arbitrarily RIPPEDOFF? Of course there’s no posted prices, but the online delivery menu is «omelette made to order» — $ 5.95. CAVEATEMPTOR!

AWESOMECHEESECAKE. I’m surprised by all the negative reviews for Café Bravo. I was staying at the nearby W Hotel Downtown, and my friend and I went to Café Bravo both early and late(the café is open 24 hours). I thougt the sausage, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich was delicious, and the cheesecake was — literally — the best I’ve ever had. We also enjoyed hanging out with the 2 a.m. late night crowd. Some of the New Yorkers are leaving reviews that there are better places than this for cheesecake and coffee. Maybe. But I’d still go out of my way for dessert at Café Bravo the next time I’m in the area.

While in the city for the week, we stayed at the nearby Marriott and this location was on our way to the subway. We stopped by four different times and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent and very friendly. The hot food was fresh and the salad’s were made to order. The desserts selection was vast and we couldn’t help ourselves during every visit. The seating area is small, but comfortable. Make a point to stop by and check them out. I will stop by the next time I am in the area.

Soggy microwaved sandwiches, decent coffee. Blech, don’t go here, there are too many good places in NYC to waste your time and money here. I was starving after I arrived in the city for the weekend, but it was already late afternoon and I had a dinner that night, so I wanted a quick, cheap lunch near my hotel. I passed by this place on the way to another, more highly rated deli, but I was in a hurry and famished, so I thought I’d give it a go. I got a chicken fajita sandwich thing, and although the flavor was alright, it was taken straight from the case and microwaved. When I saw the guy take it out of the case and put it somewhere behind him, I assumed he threw it in a real oven to warm it up. But after a few alternatively scalding hot and ice cold bites, I knew he had nuked it. It was also soggy and falling apart from the microwave, which made it more difficult to eat. It was one of those times where you’re just disappointed you wasted so many precious calories on something so crappy. After such a poor experience with the food, I wouldn’t normally go back and give this place more money, but I was tired and had a long day/night ahead of me so I decided to get a small coffee to go. The coffee was good and strong, but not good enough to warrant me ever coming back to this place or any of the other locations.

Oh good golly the eggs over easy, home fries and everything bagel with cream cheese was so delicious. Seriously better than I make at home. The home fries were fab — and I don’t even like them usually. They were seasoned perfectly and had just a few veggies in it. Yum! Most importantly — the coffee is great. They had huge breakfast sandwiches too. We liked it here so much — we ate here twice.

The food from here is way too salty. I tried the penne vodka and also the meatloaf and mashed potatoes from here and both of them were overly salty. This is basically just a generic, overpriced lunch deli that caters to the business crowd. The pitas, wraps and sandwiches have probably been sitting there for days as well.
