The only reason why i come here because it is directly across the street from my building. The selection is not very good but you can get odds and ends you need worst case. I compare prices and they really get you on some things but when they have deals they are quite helpful… when the have deals. Most of the times I’ve been there like yesterday for example they didnt have much on the shelves so I walk around like a crazy person tryin to figure out what Im going to eat and walk out with frozen pizza and fruit rollups. yes, have some.

The c-town has improved over the last ten years. they now sell organics and other foods. they see the changing of the neighborhoods and have adapted nicely. when i first moved in, the market was only fatty foods and spanish foods. now they adapted and you have organics and other low fat areas. the c-town of ten years ago gtt a 2 rating now it gets a 4 for drastic change. the supermarket is clean too. they need to put someone who kows english there and help out the demographic that doesnt know spanish. other than than that kudos to mgmt.

This C-Town is actually between 134th and 135th on Broadway. There is an additional C-Town between 145th and 146th but I assume that they have a different listing. This grocery store is pretty good for everyday essentials. They have good sales on everything once in a while. Their beer selection is like the average bodega’s: American beers, a few Mexican beers, craft beer limited to Magic Hat, Blue Moon. They have tofu, hummus, soy milk and a few other health foods but there is a much better health selection at Fairway. The produce here is always bad. Wish they were open a little bit later…(they are usually closed by 9pm or earlier).

I really hate C-Town and this one is no exception. I went in looking for a few things such as meat and milk and I was so grossed out by the selection. Several packages of meat had punctures in them which is unacceptable and several milk containers were leaking. When I asked the associates if they had others in the back I was given rude answers and then they laughed and started saying things in foreign tongues to their other co-workers. I will NOT be back to this C-Town anytime soon unless I am dying of something and no other store has what I need except C-Town. I will stick to Fairway, well worth the walk.

I’m confused as to why this C-Town isn’t listed. Its the one I go to because its a block from where I live at 150th and Broadway in Hamilton Heights. They have some organic food selections, which is nice. Their meat section smells weird and I always have to walk through it quickly without breathing. They also are always weirded out when I don’t want a plastic bag. Frustrating because: 1. I wish everyone who lived nearby and was just buying a peach didn’t ask for a double plastic bag. 2. Do they know that it takes over a hundred years for those bags to break down? So its not weird that someone would bring a reusable bag or, at the very least, shove their groceries in their purse? Anyway, it is a fine grocery store that I visit on occasion, but not for all my shopping needs.

this c-town really exists. its on broadway and w 150th street. i know because i live a block away and shop here all the time. as a grocery store, its as good as they come. they always have the food i want to buy, usually doesnt take a long time to get in and out, and isnt too crowded. never had a problem, this is where i pretty much do all my grocery shopping at.
