Buxbaum Audrey MD

I didn’t know there were still civilized doctor’s experiences in NYC. There is a calm and lightness to this office that just doesn’t exist in other office’s — especially the OBGYN scene. Unlike a lot of offices, the people who work there are nice and are happy to be there — including Dr. Buxbaum. I am so happy to have found her. She’s extremely thorough and considers other aspects of your health to understand the big picture.
1– making an appt was fast and easy. They have an automated system that calls the week of to confirm.
2– I was taken on time
3– Dr. Buxbaum listens to your concerns/​questions and doesn’t talk down to you.
4– 568 Broadway is a great location.
5– Staff is professional and happy to be there
Very pleased with this experience.

So far so good.
The receptionist is super nice and I got an appointment (new patient appointment — which usually takes forever) just 15 days from now.

Dr. Buxbaum is so great. She is the first gynecologist I’ve ever had who has me sit down before my appointments to talk about things. She asks about my habits in general, if I have any questions about anything going on, medication, health conditions, etc. Shockingly, this has never happened at another doctor in NY. She makes me feel at ease and completely comfortable without judgement about anything. Highly recommended!

I love Dr Buxbaum! She takes the time to explain things when I ask questions and I’ve had more than two abnormal paps which required a colposcopy. She made me feel at ease and offered excellent advice. She shares an office with Downtown Women OBGYN and while I’m not crazy about some of the staff and other doctors there, she’s worth totally worth it!
