Great selection of urban wear, not too touristy. They also sell DVDs & CDs. Store is narrow & not handicap accessible. I had a hard time w/​my stroller. But lady that works there is very nice.

Anyone who knows me knows I sure do love my t shirts. The last time I was in NYC (a few months ago), I was in search of one of those subway line t-​shirts, you know the ones that have a big «F» Brooklyn to Queens logo on the front? Burkina was the only place that had «authentic» looking ones and had the best material (as opposed to the thin t-​shirts they sell on Canal or in Times Square.) Price for quality & awesome variety of prints: about $ 25-​$ 30 a pop.
This is a cool little shop with friendly service and massive collection of t-​shirts that represent the 5 burroughs of NYC. I will definitely come back to indulge my t-​shirt obsession.

i walked by this store but got lured in by their window display. hip t-​shirts for the hip-​hop aficionados. the t-​shirts are good quality, great designs and prints. im definitely going back next time im in town to get some more shirts. two turntables and a microphone.

We walked into this place randomly while cooling out on the lower east side, only b/​c they had some nice T-​shirts in the window. turned out to be quite the hip hop shop. check it out.
