Burger Heaven

Disappointed! Their burgers are too expensive for this poor quality. I got a plain burger and fries and that was like $ 15 bucks so I had high expectations. Bun was dry and meat was just OK. The fries were soggy not crunchy! They deliver fast though I’ll give them that.

I live very close nearby, and go here on occasion. I have to say this place is *really* great. The service is always super fast and very friendly, and the food is consistently delicious — not just «good» or «OK,» but REALLY yummy. I had a burger there yesterday and it was cooked perfectly and the flavor was outstanding — especially with how the cheese was melted onto it and tasted. Just perfect. (My only «suggestion» would be to get buffalo sauce — both times when I’ve tried ordering something chicken with buffalo sauce, what I got looked like buffalo sauce but tasted like something completely different.) Seriously, lightning fast and friendly service, and consistently delicious-​tasting food. I’ll be back often! :)

Meh. At best. The food here is nothing special and the service doesn’t elevate the experience. Unless you are throwing down a corporate card — and if you are, what are you doing at this place? this is NYC — the prices don’t support the quality of the food.

Food was decent; ordered the chicken fingers. Honestly, it was pretty much the same quality as other burger or diner-​esque places in NY but the reason for the 3-​star review would definitely be the price. You can get way more for way less especially in New York City where there are so many options. Also the sides costing extra money (fries) — you’d be better off hitting a Popeye’s if you’re in the mood for chicken or Bareburger.

The house salat und twisted fries were good but nothing special. They forgot the pide bread which I waited for some minutes while others already ate.

Eat here if you would like a 75 year old woman who ate rotten fish to die and three days later fart on your tongue. Thanks for reading.

My coworker is madly in love with one of the servers at this place and wanted to go here so she invited me to lunch, her treat… I figured free lunch, why not. I think that the previous negative reviews is triggered by its name «Burger Heaven». We see the name and we automatically compare this to the best hamburger we’ve ever had in our lives. And the reality is (as one reviewer said) it’s not bad, but it’s not great. The truth is there are 4 other burger places in the area I can think of that are way better and perhaps cost less. So why go here? What makes this place different from the rest? Honestly I think its the corner location and outside seating. So if people watching and outdoor seating is what you want, this is the place to go. I’m giving it 3 stars for that reason.

I decided to just walk into a place without looking up the reviews first. Very unlike me, but I wanted to find a NY gem without any bias. I was craving a burger, so when we stumbled upon Burger Heaven and it was packed, I figured it must be good for burgers. After we left, I said to my friend, «eh, I’d give them 3 stars maybe.» I looked up the Unilocal reviews after we walked out and was sad that there are so many good options in NY and we happened to find the place with 2 ½ stars :(
I will say, though, that many of the reviews mention how horrible the service was and yet our waitress was so sweet and accommodating even though they were crazy busy during peak lunch time. We were having troubles deciding which burger we wanted and she took the time to explain the options and give us her feedback on some of the burgers. Their regular fries are fresh and cut in-​house, but their curly fries are not. However, I love curly fries so I went with those and my friend got the house cut fries. Both were pretty good. The burgers weren’t anything outstanding and the bun was very dry/​hard. Since their name is Burger Heaven I would expect burgers to be their specialty (go figure), hence the lacking stars. Food came out incredibly fast, so I assume they have burgers being made constantly because it seemed like we waited only 5 minutes for our food. It’s like sit-​down fast food.
If you’re in a hurry and want a quick burger, this would be an okay option, but I would say there are better options nearby if you’re looking for a more exciting meal. Needless to say, I didn’t find my NY burger gem, but it wasn’t a complete waste of a meal.

Clean your damn lettuce guys. Found a bug in my chicken gyro. Not giving one star because honestly, this stuff happens, but a bit grossed out.
Aside from the bug, I’d say regardless skip the gyro from this place. Tzatziki is incredibly bland and chicken a bit dry. Hopefully the burgers from this place are better.

This review may be a little altered because I was romanced by the staff…
The service was good on a Saturday night.
There were minimal people here.
My boyfriend took me here to get chicken fingers.
They were ok. Honey mustard was in abundance.
The fries were good enough.
The burgers I can’t speak for but my meat eating dinner partner likes this place.
But the best part? Getting a man-​made paper flower by the waiter. ensured that my bf was going to tip him well.

I ordered chicken fingers w/​fries and a side of cole slaw that it came with and an Oreo milk shake for delivery. Surprisingly it wasnt as bad as some reviews i read on Unilocal and seamless mentioned. The guy came within 25min which i LOVED!

First of all, the service was extremely horrible and unfriendly. It was five of us. I called the party. The burger was worse than a random highway diner. All five of us were disgusted by the food and service that we just walked out without leaving the tip. How can this horrible place stay in business? What is the catch here? I don’t understand.
This place is a dump! Literally. Nothing more to say.

This place is great for breakfast! My hubby got the egg plate and I had the fried egg roll and both were delicious! We were seated right away and our order was taken promptly. Our food came out very quickly and everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. Everyone working in the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. What a great experience to start off the day. I’m full and happy. P. s. The prices are very reasonable!

Here you can taste the cooking skills of four generations passed to your plate with the heavenly delicious veggie burger. If you visit their bathroom, you’ll feel like you’re an Alice in Mirrorland :)

They not only have the most rude employees ever but their food also sucks! I ordered from Seamless and had a 5 aggressive and obnoxious rings to my door (meanwhile I am in crutches!). Then delivery guy curses at me and when I get my food it is overcooked and gross. I called and the restaurant basically asked why they wanted me to do and when I asked for a refund and to pick the food up they basically said no. I had to call the delivery service to let them know that I would not be accepting any food from them and I wished to be reimbursed. What a nightmare!!!

Came here for lunch with coworkers and the place was only alright. It was incredibly busy, so we sat in their outdoor seating section which wasn’t too bad. I ordered a veggie burger and a side of fries. Personally, it was kind’ve a ripoff. Because first you pay for the burger and then lettuce and tomato is extra and then if you want fries, you have to pay for that too! The veggie burger itself was good, I have to say but for the price of everything, it wasn’t really worth it. The burger also came with a side of coleslaw that looked old and soggy and I didn’t bother touching it. Other than that, service was fast and friendly, and the food was good. I just think they need to lower their prices or not make every single thing an add-​on.

Let’s get one thing straight — this place sucks… I’d almost say terrible and give it 1-​star, but I guess it is edible, but then again a microwavable Hot Pocket is edible as well.
Anyway, with so many great burger options in the city and nearby (P.J. Clarke’s, Bareburger, New York Burger, Shake Shack, even Five Guys and Brgr, or even Tony the Dragon food cart), why would anyone come here? And on top of the poor quality, the burger is $ 16, and with a drink + tax, you’re spending over $ 20 for a burger you wish you hadn’t even eaten. I’d say the burger is maybe a notch higher than a burger from a bad (not good) diner, to give you some perspective.
So I have no clue why people like this place, other than maybe having the ability to get sweet potato fries, or that they just haven’t been to any of the other places I mentioned. It’s so bad in my opinion, that sometimes my company will order-​in Burger Heaven for us (for Free), and I’ll even pass on it cause I’d rather not waste calories on a tasteless burger, just my opinion… Caveat emptor.

Came here to grab a burger on the go before popping into the F train station and did not expect this joint to be such a fancy diner. Their food is overpriced but I guess you pay for the ambience. The wait wasn’t too bad (5 – 10 minutes) and they packed my turkey burger very neatly in a circular aluminum pan. The turkey patty was thick too, which was nice but for $ 11.85, that is still one expensive burger.

Stopped in to grab lunch. Service was fast which is perfect as as we wanted a grab and go. This is more of a sit down diner. I got the chicken cutlet sandwich came with side of cole slaw, but tasted bland as there was no sauce or anything on it. I asked for a side of ranch dressing. My friend got the turkey club which was good. Good place for a quick lunch if you are looking for a basic sandwich or burger.

Toujours en plein test de burgers végé à NYC, j’ai salivé quand j’ai vu ce restau au nom si prometteur pas très loin de notre appart.
L’intérieur est spacieux et plutôt simple. La nana qui s’occupe de nous est très chouette et vraiment dispo. Il y a un comptoir autour de la TV où ils passent les émissions «in» au US.
Bön par contre niveau burgers c’est pas trop ça: ils n’ont rien d’exceptionnels et on est bien loin de l’ Heaven !
Point positif ils proposent un végé qui est plutôt bon et consistant, mais il lui manqué un truc. Les frites quand à elles étaient à peines cuites …
En dehors des burgers, vous trouverez des soupes et des salades.
Question prix, ça reste correct !

Stumbled upon this place with my family when they visited a while back. We were all hungry and decided to try it out. It was no success for any of us.
Although the food was ok, the service was terrible. In a party of 5 they got all the orders wrong in one way or another, and we multiple times had to ask for water. We were served our food at different times and we always had to follow up refills. Over all we felt like demanding costumers but at the same time we did not have high or unreasonable expectations.
I realize I should not judge a place based on only one waiter but at the same time that one waiter ruin any chance for me going back there.
