Check out the Leonard Freed exhibition if you get the chance. It’s called«Black in White America» and features some thought-provoking journalistic photography that’s interesting but very accessible. White liberals and people who like to make fun of white liberals should note that all these pictures come from the eye of a Jewish guy. The gallery itself is nice, a little narrow, but conducive to slow browsing.

The collection, actually, collections were beautiful: Shinichi Maruyama– KUSHO and Aaron Siskind Foundation-Recurrence. However, I felt a bit claustrophobic in the gallery as the space was quite small, too small to have two relatively large collections on at the same time. The walls were too busy, and I really had a hard time focusing and giving each piece the attention it deserved. Again, good collections, but a bit too ambitious.
