If you enjoy photography and animal life, the Nick Brandt exhibit is not to be missed(ends Saturday 11÷2÷13). «Across the Ravaged Land» documents the disappearing animals of eastern Africa. (if you miss the show, his book is available online, ie Amazon, but can’t compare to the massive prints in the gallery) Impressed is an understatement.

A little air wouldn’t kill this place, but it has a cool set-up. On my visit the gallery was partitioned into three mini photography exhibits. The first showed some awesome composite photographs by Andreas Gefeller, the second was a collection in a series of New York photographs featuring the Statue of Liberty as taken by various artists, and the third was an exhibit of «True Color» by Mark Cohen. The third was my favorite, with its cigarettes-and-vintage ‘tude. The space is easy to navigate and the staff is very friendly. Definitely worth a look-see.

Great gallery with good lines, better lighting, helpful staff, and a damned cool exhibit by James Mollison. No pretense about taking pictures and the workers were more than willing to discuss the pieces with potential customers. Part of the 52920th Street complex and along with ACA a great reason to stop in.
