Been going for 5 years, I always get a simple buzz or crew cut — never had any issues at all. I prefer the owner but the other girls do fine too, always a quick cut with little to no wait.

WORST! I prefer other barbershops better you asked them for a light trim and they just buzz off the whole haircut. There’s is a women there that doesn’t know any English who doesn’t know how to reply to a question. Now there’s a new girl there that clearly can’t understand anything, all of them working there who doesn’t know how to cut hair should obviously go back to school and learn then maybe come back and start working ad a real job. They messed up my sons haircut and tried to charge me more then what I was supposed to pay. STAYAWAY I PERFERALEXBARBERSHOPBETTER, JUST4 blocks up on a 100STREET. They are officially my new place. Especially the new young guy there!

There’s no sign on the door that says No Credit Cards. I sat for 20 minutes waiting and saw 2 people leave paying cash. I asked about that they said no credit. Then they wanted to cut my hair and have me come back with the cash after. Of course I didn’t. Last haircut was a butcher job. Never again

Tried this barber shop for the first time, all went well until I asked for the girl to cut a bit more hair on the side, the owner started to talk to her in their languages but I know he was talking about me, then he told me I can’t ask for modification or I have to pay double price, I said customer has the right to give the opinion and ask for a modification but he didn’t like it, asked her to stop cutting my hair… I started to argue as I thought this was very unfair but he was unflexible… this is the worst barber shop experience of my life. When living I even told the customer entering to leave immediatly… not acceptable

After two years coming here I gave up on this place and will never return. Average haircuts if you’re looking for a simple cut but I wouldn’t go Here for anything complicated. Reason I won’t return is horrible customer service. I was clearly next in line and he refused to serve me because he got confused about the order. When other clients agreed with me he wouldn’t budge. Terrible service for a loyal regular(who tipped pretty well). Don’t make the same mistake — lots of other cheap options in the neighborhood.

I’ve almost always had a good experience here. Perhaps my bar is low, but I’ve been coming for about 4 years, and always left happy. The owner can be kind of gruff, but what barber isn’t. He’s also got a sarcastic sense of humor with straight-faced delivery that doesn’t always get picked up on by customers. Yeah, it’s not the fanciest place, but what barber charging $ 12 for a base cut is? Wait is never long, cuts are good, and price is cheap.

Been coming here off and on for 4 – 5 years. Why 1 star? The owner does a decent job, the rest do not. AND when I come in asking for him to fix an atrocious haircut, you don’t say no, I’m going to have to charge you. The store was empty, it would have taken 5 – 10 minutes and instead you lost a customer.

The owner was rude and rushing, and the haircut was completely crooked — I ended up trimming it myself at home for now, and will have to go to another shop for a real barber. There are plenty of other good barbershops in this neighborhood. This shop is NOTRECOMMENDED.

Got taken today for 28 bucks so I’m taking to Unilocal to vent. I’ve been coming here for the last 3 or 4 years for mediocre haircuts. Why? Because I’m lazy. I should’ve stopped coming here when the barber once said he was charging me extra for my skin fade because in his words«I had a lot of hair.» With that logic, you might as well have a scale on hand to weigh all of the swept up follicles after each haircut. These guys are pretty egregious when it comes to tacking extra dollars onto their advertised prices. I suspect this may be a desperate attempt to keep their feculent business afloat in the midst of the neighborhood’s ballooning rent rates. Oh and they play shitty dance music off the radio non-stop. Fuck this place.

This place blows. I came in asking for a skin fade, straight up, cut the top an inch or so. I leave with a poorly shaved head, $ 15 less in my pocket(even though the sign said $ 12+, deceiving), and the guy standing up for himself saying, «I made you look like that — points to this Asian guy in a poster rocking a 2002 Flushing haircut.» He dared to poison my hair with gel and slick it front, with my bangs sticking up. He also cut it like he was in a rush to use the bathroom or something. Scary. Funny how when he gave me my change, he also handed me his business card expecting me to come back. Right.

Don’t go here! One of the worst haircuts I’ve ever had, and wanna know what my haircut is? A BUZZ! 3 all around, how do you mess that up? Then, the lady asked me if I wanted a shave, I said no, the the later she asked me if she wanted to clean up my line, so I figured: ok, maybe it’d be a few bucks more. She gave me an electric shave, not even razor anywhere, and charged me an extra $ 12. I didn’t even ask for that! And it wasn’t even razor! $ 25 not including tip for the worst haircut experience of my life. The only thing I blame myself for is that this was my 3rd time getting my haircut here, and I wasn’t really that happy with the place the other 2 times either. Don’t make that mistake.
