Horrible customer service. It was like they were purposefully trying to be rude. Will not return here.

I found out about brandy about 3 years ago but I’m from a place where brandy is only available at pacsun or on their website with overpriced shipping, so I was excited to be in new york for the week as I would finally be able to go to an actual brandy store. I didn’t have time to stop by many stores, but I was able to make time for 1 brandy store and I’m so glad I picked this store. I got in a little after they opened and it was very quiet in there with only 3 employees and no shoppers. The store was kind of small but there was a wide range of clothes and accessories and I had to walk around about 5 times to make sure I had everything I wanted. The employees were nice and helpful when I asked questions. I spent a good amount of money, but that was also because I grabbed as many items as I could(the clothes are reasonably priced). Overall I had an excellent experience here. Btw don’t forget to grab a few stickers as they are kinda hidden by the register!

Poor customer service. Went in there to get something. The day I bought it all the employees are so busy with their respective businesses which I supposed not related to work, chit chatting and one is on the phone. The lady who took care of my purchase was even telling the guy beside him if he wants to complete the transaction. As I wait to get my purchased done, I looked at the stuff near the counter and some stickers. Then went home. Since everyone is busy, they didn’t realized that they actually forgot to take the security clip off. It didn’t alarm when I left. Then I went back, told them what happened and after they took the clip off, she just gave me the shirt and not even bother to fold it.

4 stars just because brandy melville is one of my favorite clothing stores. This store is smaller than their soho location but a lot less crowded. They have less styles than the store at soho. I love their clothes though. Expect to find stylish plain clothes at reasonable prices. The quality of their clothes is excellent and the fabrics feel soft and comfortable. I love that everything is one size so I don’t have to worry about finding the right fit. Most of their shirts and sweaters are designed to look oversized.

Great spot for clothing basics with a California twist. They have affordable everything from t-shirts, flannels, sweaters, accessories and more. Peices range from $ 15 – 30 for t shirts if you want a reference. I like this location’s layout a lot more than the new Broadway location. I also like that it’s not on Broadway, so it’s usually not as crazy and insane and they won’t sell out as quick. They don’t have a huge jewelry selection at this spot but probably bc it’s slightly smaller. The staff is a bit invisible, but when you ask for help they are usually pretty friendly. I believe this location is a franchise because they don’t price-match, so keep that in mind… I was able to buy a beanie online for $ 16 with shipping and it would’ve cost me $ 22 in store, but I believe small accessory items are the only things less expensive on the web. clothing item prices are the same in-store and online. I bought a t-shirt here the same day. I noticed that a lot of clothes are sized small(i’m usually an XS or Small in tops) so if you are more voluptuous, you may wanna stick to their flannels and sweaters. This is an LA based brand, so crop tops and scantily-clad wear is pretty much a given. If you aren’t into that kind of clothing, why bother to go in and complain about the selection. I don’t go into crappy thrift stores and complain about the tattered generic clothing selection. They lose a star for somewhat invisible staff and another star for giving me false information about a «sold out» item. I went in for a specific beanie and asked if they had more, the girl told me they sold out. The next day I saw the beanie and asked one girl if they received a new shipment. She said no(i didn’t mention that another employee told me they sold out the day before) that’s when I walked to the cashier and asked if they price matched to their online store. She nicely said no, so I just bought the hat online.

This place has clothes that made their first debut in the eighties. They are exceptionally large/oversized and over priced for the quality. But of course u are paying for the name. The fitting rooms provide no privacy as an American flag serves as the door. No hooks to close it, so any perv can sneak a peek. The girls at the register are good at saying, «sorry, we don’t have that item.» I say, then take it off the wall. That was about the third time I stopped asking. Nothing here for the 30+ crowd, so if u grew up in the eighties and needed one more crop top to reminisce, u will find it here. But that doesn’t mean u should wear it in public. This store is only for the young and hip girls under 25. Edit: they will take stuff off the mannequins.
