The bartender with the Lyon tattoo is fantastic — Fast, easy and smooth, just the way we like our women and drinks. If you’re into hot music, hot bartenders and hot drinks, you should come here…

Horrible! I came here for a party with 14 people on a Saturday afternoon. At the door, I waited in a line(no one was there) and was basically ignored by the doorman. I asked him if we could get in and he said«Do I look like a doorman?» I said we’ll your a man in front a door so I assume you are. We left — very unprofessional!

My friend and I recently celebrated our birthdays together at Bounce. We chose to do an open bar special; $ 4511 – 1AM beer and well drinks. We had to sign a contract and provide a credit card which would be charge if we canceled our reservation, didn’t show up, and or damage was done to the bar etc… We signed the agreement and had to guarantee 20 people to partake in the special and a list of our guest had to be sent the night before. The list had to have the names of people who agreed to do the open bar and only allowed 40 names was allowed. Not all of our friends did the open bar so they had to wait on line and were NOT guaranteed entry. Due to the small space and other parties booked at Bounce they couldn’t guarantee everyone entry unless on the list of course. I was so stressed because not everyone replies on time or with the names of people they are bringing. I thought the list was final, but that wasn’t the case; once we arrived we had a few adjustments and were able to add/subtract names from the list. The music was good a lot of hip hop/rap with a bit of techno thrown in. I gave this review 3 stars because Bounce didn’t answer our request in the most timely matter and the list issue was a bit annoying since it’s hard to nail down who is coming. The event planner was very sweet and answered all my questions. I def recommend doing an open bar at Bounce just be sure to have your guests arrive early or just do the open bar!

This place sucks IMO. $ 10 to get in for no reason. Rude employees in the front. Absolutely no sports games going on any of their 20 something TV’s. Given I was there on Friday night, but not even a single replay game. Only three TV’s on that replayed the same bounce sporting commercial all night. They only serve drinks in plastic cups and refuse if you ask for glass. There is nothing about this place that entices me to go back unless one of my friends insisted or maybe I would try it during a game. We’ll see.

This place was alright, I would probably come back but on a Sunday. Came here on a Friday night for a birthday bash. during the start of a Jonas! … It wasn’t that packed. At one point it was slightly but then people dispersed… They did have the best songs on. If you love 90s hip hop and every best throw back you can think of was on. We had a booth table, I would highly recommend getting one but I hear the prices are way insane and especially on a Sunday. This place supposedly is packed to the brim so I would never be caught dead walking around trying to squeeze through people. The dudes at the door also were not that nice. Ew. I’m not like dying to get back here but if the opportunity presents itself then We’ll see. Def not at night tho for sure… The place was clean and the waitstaff were attentive, our bartender was so nice and she dealt with us all night.

Bounce is a great place to watch a game, eat but most importantly have a great time! A must for everyone who wants to party

This place is literally THEWORST. I went here for a friend’s birthday who had a table. When a bouncer yelled at me to get away from the table, and I told him I was there for my friend’s birthday, he then proceeded to push me(yes, push me, and I am a female) to get away from the table. I’ve never felt so violated in my entire life. He then told me if I didn’t like it, I should leave. Needless to say, they’ve lost at least a dozen customers because me and my friends will never be returning again.

I feel like the mayor when he is about to give a speech on NY1 channel. This place is a gift from Santa(lets stick with the Christmas spirit). I read a few of the negative reviews below, clearly they are individuals who came here at the wrong time. Its like seeing the statue of Christ in Brazil when its cloudy out. Nothing beats this place during Football Season. Pros: Attracts an insane amount of girls, Door Policy(very strict but great to keep out the riff raff), The Barry Bonds of NYC Sports Bars, Staff(all very friendly and girls dressed like cheerleaders or skimpy memorabilia). Packed bar area is best place to pick up chicks and get in the mix. Cons: Your CC bill after buying the former cheer-leading team from the NY Jets shots, Cab ride home from Bounce(unless you took some happy pills, the buildings will be spinning). Late Football season criminals(too many felons are let in this place post NFL Week 12), lack of hotel room in basement or across the street, strict ID policy(need more NYU students here vs. NJ Hair dressers). Never come here Monday– Wednesday. Tables are definitely pricey. Debatable: Is the girl you are talking to from NJ or Long Island? Which bartender to hit on first. Is it worth the Monday morning Hangover? Advice. COMEHEREEVERYSUNDAYPOST6PM. Make sure you have a pocket full of cash and little blue pills to insure your mini car doesn’t stall out.

Although not a big sports fan, I had a great time at this sports club. This is a sports bar that feels more like a club. After the games the tables are removed to make for a large open floor plan. Me and my friends had a table and our server was excellent. Super friendly and attentive. Pretty pricey but hey, it’s Manhattan, what isn’t?!

I’ve been here at least 20 times just for drinks. If I have to call out one name it is Ace from security. He’s just a good guy that always makes sure we’re safe and I value that wherever I go

My friend recently had her birthday bash here. I’ve always wondered what was inside bounce, and now I know! We were on a list and had a happy hour for our group. We had no hassle at the door but we did have to pay cash. Just to keep in mind. if your guest list is there for an open bar, everyone has to buy open bar, even if they only want one drink. For a flat rate, the happy hour was great. It’s only for well liquor and beer but I think in Manhattan, our package was great. One thing that was kind of strange was that a few of the beers on tap ran out… wasn’t that late and thought that was strange, but it does happen. Bartenders were quick and very nice! Music was good, and the crowd was very chill. We had a very fun night drinking and dancing! Definitely do not mind coming back again!

I came here on quite an off hour(during the day after brunch), so it was empty and not rowdy haha I actually liked this place! The décor was fancier than a grungy sports bar, which I liked, and there were a lot of little décor accents everywhere. They also have a banana jameson on their menu, which they make themselves I believe. It sounds disgusting, but I’m sure you’ll want to have more once you try it! I think they sell by the bottle if you do bottle service there, but you can’t buy it to take home right now :(

I must know the right bouncer apparently? The reviews below seem to mention that. Got right in and it was heaven. Sports TV everywhere. Just everywhere and a solid bar to get drinks or a booth if you need(you’re really sitting on top of the booth). Granted the music gets pumping and it is loud like a club, where they have TV monitors for you to check your sports games as well. It’s pretty dark inside so you figure you could drink, eat, and watch sports here all day and nobody would bother you. Until that girl sees you and wants to dance to pull you away from the millions you’re about to make on Draft Kings … well, because you’re the boss duh! Anyways, the food was actually pretty good for a sports bar and the vibe is excellent. If you have a crew come check it out. Cheers!

Try it once. Here’s what you should expect: dancing guy in a bear mascot costume, scantily clad girls dancing on the bar, and a dancing Archie Andrews in studded leather. Lots of dancers — very ridiculous. Bottle Service: They bring out Belvedere in a light-up space ship. There are a lot of glow sticks and other bright objects. Ambiance: Pumping top 40s the entire time. One wall is lined with rounded booths. Everyone is standing in the booths and — you guessed it — dancing. The venue is not big enough, but that’s to be expected in NY. If you are going to go, commit to having a good time. It can be overwhelming, but it can also be an interesting experience. I went Sunday afternoon during football season. I did not experience any problems with the bouncer or the line, so that might be the best time to go.

I’ve come here twice for a birthday party because I have a friend who enjoys this place. I think it’s a taste of what’s wrong with America. If on it’s busiest day, Bounce was to fortuitously collapse into a sinkhole, the collective IQ of the United States would jump a few points. There’s really no reason for this place to exist. Imagine someone thought up of a way to take a sports bar, but make it big… and then make it absolutely awful. It’s crowded but it’s crowded with the inherently intellectually stunted, the bouncers seem to be always on the cusp of menstruating or trying to use their core strength to pop a stuck pine cone out of their rectum(I guess my point is that they’re incredibly unpleasant folks), the music is top 40 garbage remixed with other top 40 garbage, they serve beer(including stouts!) in plastic cups, and the food is mediocre bar food and does not warrant any description better than that. Been here twice for a birthday party(Saturday afternoon by the way, both times), every time the best part was leaving and going somewhere else. All the negative reviews about Bounce are spot on. You’ve already wasted enough time on this nothing of a bar by just reading about it.

There’s a reason Bounce is so poorly rated on Unilocal. It’s genuinely one of the worst establishments I’ve ever been to and I quite frankly wouldn’t give Bounce any stars if I had the option. Where to start… Last night a girlfriend and I were meeting a group of our friends at Bounce. They had gotten there earlier than us, but we said the name at the door when we got there. The guy working the door seemed like a nice guy, but there was still a wait as other girls were coming and just were allowed in or groups of people were purchasing tables. We were standing around waiting for a good 20 minutes, keep in mind this is around 12:30am now, and there was another guy standing by the entrance who claimed he was the supervisor. He then admitted that he was actually one of the owners, Michael. He was one of the most obnoxious/rude business owners I have ever met. He was so nasty to my friend and I. He claimed that we were with a party that we couldn’t be comped to come in and was letting other girls in that didn’t even have a party to associate themselves with. I finally admitted that the only reason we were there and would ever go to Bounce is because our friends choose to go there and we really never have a good time. He was clearly insulted, but it was the truth. He just wanted to be a dick and show his power to us girls that he was the one that had the control. The scene at Bounce is not always the best. The drinks are not so great. The service is terrible. I’ve never had a good time there EVER. Overall why would anyone want to go somewhere that isn’t fun, that’s expensive and they’re treated poorly? I wouldn’t recommend spending your time or money here.

Bounce is a rare breed. In fact, I can’t think of anywhere else that makes this mix of sports bar /club work so well. I used to work around the corner and during the week it was always a great looking crowd and good vibes. I can understand people’s frustrations here with the bouncers but they have capacity issues to deal with. I wish there was more space to accommodate more folks. Haven’t had a chance to try any of the food but the cocktails are much better than what you would expect from a sports bar. All in all Bounce has hit all the high notes for me and is my go to spot in the area for a drink or to watch the game.

A pretty good happy hour(5−7pm). $ 5 drinks and select food items. We were at a table and were told we could only get happy hour food at the bar, but they eventually were able to let us order the happy hour food at our table. The servers are generally nice. The food isn’t amazing, but maybe a notch above your average bar fare.

Great upscale sports bar. Food here is well above the average watering hole fare. Standout is the BSC Burger, great blend of aged beef topped with a sunny side up hen egg. Pigs in a blanket which are represented with pretzel rolls are a great rendition of a classic. Fried mac n cheese is good for an appetizer but save room for the 10 spice Koreatown wings
