The chicken here… is so good. My favorite place to order a half or whole chicken. Hands down.

Great rotisserie chicken made fresh with so many side orders you can go over board. Nonetheless you won’t be disappointed with the taste

This place is a hidden GEM! This is a take out place, but after a long day of work or after shopping in the near by Costco, I’ll stop by and pick up a whole rotisserie chicken and some rice with pigeon peas(arroz con gandules), dinner is served. The chicken is always moist and flavorful. Other favorites of mine — The arroz con gandules, yucca with onions. Sometimes they have pasteles. Their food is always yummy. The best part is how affordable the food is. It gets busy on the weekend, so go early before they run out of food.

Oh sweet mystery of life I have found you. I have brought their pasteles and sancocho to patients in Lutheran hospital and afterwards they started to get much better. Milagro!

I got home really late that night and need to make dinner for a hungry girlfriend who’s coming over. This place is a heaven for cheap yummy chicken. The owner lady was really nice offer free tasting and stuff. I guess I am pretty on the handsome side of course. Anyway, price is good and food is off the chart. They offer other specialty as well from steam veggie to varies meat which I think is cooked fresh everyday. I think I can stop doing grocery and just come here everyday for dinner instead.

A fav spot of some to order catered food for parties and at reasonable rates. The food is always fresh and made to order. The rotisseried chicken has the perfect blend of spices which makes it edible for all parties. If a person needs more spice a splash of piqué or hot sauce will do the trick. The rice n peas is okay as is the yuca, the real standout is the chicken and at this place they do it well… On the weekends has a line, bit they move quickly. (There is parking available on 4 th avenue and there is the R train station right at the corner.

Well for a rotisserie chicken joint in Sunset Park it really makes a good bird. I have eaten here a number of times. You can see the chickens cooking early in the day as they turn in the window before they open for business. So we had the Arroz Gondules with a Whole Chicken which is $ 12.00 which is enough for 3 people. I can eat half a chicken plus half the rice which is a 10 inch tin full. Mmmm so yummy. The chicken is juicy and cooked very good. Not much over powering flavor, but not bland. Just the right amount of seasoning so you can add your own salt and pepper to your liking. The place is not really a major restaurant, kinda like a hole in the wall with enough elbow room to be comfortable. Service is fast and reliable, they grab a nicely hot cooked bird and chop chop its ready to eat. Compared to having to eat Chinese fried chicken and the other rotisserie place further up 4th avenue in this neighborhood, this is a much better place.
