I’ve been getting tattoos since they were illegal, been to many shops & All I have say is ‚“I FINALLY FOUND A HOME”!! Body Art studios is the place, Peter has over 30yrs experience & his work shows it Don’t waste your time looking anyplace else. When ya meet him & see the shop you’ll know what I mean. yesss 5 stars !!

Peter is a cool, down to earth guy! He comes off as if its his way or the highway, but after talking to him, hes just trying to give you his honest opinion! He gives you options along with his recommendations. I would definitely recommend him to friends. I had piercings here and i am pleased with the results.

Probably the best tattoo artist & space in nyc ! Extremely clean & friendly environment ! Peter is super nice ! I would never go anywhere else after coming here !

I’ve been going to Pete to get tattooed for years now, he has done most of my work and the tattoos he didn’t do I wish he did… his work is above and beyond any other tattoo artist I’ve seen… he is professional and always had his clients best interest at heart… all my friends and family go to him now as well… the shop is beautifully hand painted by him and is meticulously clean… if you are looking to get new ink go to Pete. I promise you will not be disappointed

I’ve been to body art studios 3 times over the last two years and have nothing but good things to say about this place — great décor, spacious, CLEAN and to top it off not only is Peter a great tattoo artist he’s a top guy.
Well worth the trip to Bay Ridge. Needles to say, I’ll be heading back.

I live in Bay Ridge and want to support local business not only with my cash but my recommendation to friends (which generates more business to said business). I had several tattoos that needed rehabilitation (re-​inking) and decided to try this shop since I walk by it almost daily. I walked in and after a couple of minutes was greeted by the apparent owner/​only artist in the shop. I told him I needed some tattoos rehabbed and he told me that he was the only artist in the shop and «I don’t fix other artists work.» That told me all I needed to know. I said «thank you», walked out and will never be back. He not only lost business from the re-​inking but also any new tattoos I was considering along with a recommendation to friends.

Peter is a completely professional guy and down to earth. From the moment I met him, i felt at ease. He’s done a lot of work on me, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Peter is awesome!!! I love my tattoo. He is so talented and so nice. The shop is very clean and he works with you by designing a perfect a tattoo first. He is a gifted artist and his tattoos heal nice and fast. I already recommended him to my friends who want tattoos.
If you want lettering and numbers, may be you should go to another shop where they take you in right away. But if you want something special, Peter will do a great job!

place is called tat2lounge now. walked in on a fridayy night, no one inside no one getting tattoed, wanting to get something added to my back piece. owner/​artist needs some tips on costumer service relations he immediately gave off the vibe as if he really didnt want to tattoo me because i wanted to add simple lettering. I guess thats beneath him since «any tattoo artist can do lettering» really i guess ill give another tattoo artist my money since its not green enough for you. I know tattoo artists are fickle folks and many dont want to add to someone elses work but if your running a business go about it in a better way so you can umm make more business. I wouldnt walk back in i would not recommend with the million other shops in ny and hand fulls of other very talented artists.
Unilocalers i suggest finding other shop to bring your business!

My tattoo is healing so well no scabbing or spots because peter was light with his hands and gave me so many a&d pavkets I dont have to buy any ;)) definetly will be going back.

Great shop with a talented artist who has more then twenty years experience under his belt. Artist is very knowledge and offered great insight on how to work in all my ideas into one piece. Overall a great studio to get your work done.
