This is a very sophisticated tattoo shop. One of the cleanest tattoo shops I have ever been to and they play great music! I had two pieces done by this tattoo artist named Kit. He is very professional and cute! He takes his time to draw up the sketches until you are 100% satisfied. He is incredibly talented because he can draw a fantastic piece that is out of your imagination while satisfying your demands. His tattooing skills is just as good as his drawing skills!!! You won’t regret it if you want to get a tattoo that will lasts you a lifetime!

The wonders of Unilocal.I was lucky enough to discover this gem of a tattoo shop in Brooklyn. Kit is a magician with the needle and provides top-​notch client service. He is a true artist and takes the time to listen to what you want. If you don’t know what you want, he’ll give you some great ideas, so no worries on that front. I’ve been coming to his shop so much and can admit that I’m addicted to his excellent art work. Thanks, Kit! I highly recommend this tattoo shop. You won’t be disappointed.

Holy crap. Kit exceeded my expectations – and I sure gave him a challenge! He gave me two tiny, delicate finger tattoos, of a moth and a honeybee. Not just silhouettes or outlines, but shaded and everything. And I have VERY skinny fingers.
He is very communicative during the design process, making sure it’s just what you want. His studio is clean, and he pointedly shows you the sterile, autoclaved tools before he begins. During the session is he is a perfectionist (I hope you want a perfectionist as your artist!) but is also friendly and jokes around.
Mega happy with this little Bay Ridge gem and recommend it. You can trust you will get a great piece of art here! :)

«K» at Matrix Tattoo was VERY professional and courteous. Detail oriented and patient. When we walked cold into the shop last week, we were immediately, warmly, and professionally greeted by «K». He asked about what we had in mind and when I told him we already have an ongoing theme, we agreed to send him a proof of the series of marks. He emailed me back within several hours saying that he was ready; a very quick response indeed.
Last night, we arrived for the session and was underway meticulously cleaning and setting up his equipment and materials. He took great care with the positioning of the marks, and we confirmed the layout. During the 3 hour session, he was attentive and focused on my girls comfort and her feedback. He noted the marks I created for her were slightly different for each one, and the layout was important because it’s an ongoing piece of art on her skin, and then asked about the meaning of each and the story behind the inking.
It’s that type of personal attention and involvement that creates an extraordinarily positive experience and has turned a walk in window shopper into a repeat customer.

Great service. The artists are very kind and extremely talented. As soon as you walk in their artwork is on display. The atmosphere is modern and the music they play is ambient. Go to place and I traveled from Staten island just to come here. 5 starts all the way

Goodness, outstanding service and amiability.
I got my art piece done by K almost a week ago. He shoots me an email on the by the third day to check up on me and asks to see if I can go into the shop for a brief check up on the piece’s condition and my status. Now that’s a good artist right there!
K is truly dependable — he responds within a day’s time and provides the friendly customer service people look for. He answers questions sans the attitude and all with a amiable smile and professionalism through and through.
I definitely recommend K for someone’s art piece with his illustrious skills.
