Actually, really 2 ½ stars.
We are looking for a new cleaning person since our old one is no longer in NY area.
We bought a Groupon to try the service. They sent us Gloria, who over all did a pretty good job. However, she did not do all of what our old person did in the same 4 hour allotment.
The bathrooms were both done nicely and she did sweep the floors well. But the kitchen was done half heartedly with counters not cleaned at all and the stainless steel appliances hardly touched. We used clorox wipes to clean the appliances afterwards and the wipes turned brown. She also did not bring her own green cleaning supplies as was advertised. Our living room rug was not vacuumed as discussed because she said time had run out. Basically, she did just the minimum.
Our old cleaning person charged us $ 80 for 4 hours and did much more during that time. Our Groupon was $ 85 after a discount so its not bad. Considering their normal fee is more than double that amount we will not be using this service again and instead ask friends for recommendations.

I am not a person who frequently has their house cleaned-​it is very hard to find someone that you can fully trust and that does a great job. Paulette does a wonderful job– it stays clean for a long time after and the place feels bigger as well as cleaner. I love that she has the natural cleaning supplies as well. I have never repeatedly used the same cleaner before (because they usually superficially clean) and now will only ever use Paulette. She has cleaned the house so money times now and she is a good kind person too.

As the granddaughter of a housecleaner, it took me many years to break down and hire one. Paulette is the first one I have felt comfortable retaining without any guilt, as she treats me like a family member and dear friend, and pays extra special attention to our 5-​year-​old son’s room.
