I’ve never been to a place quite like BBB. It’s a building(especially the interior) very reminiscent of a classic diner except for it’s nothing like a diner. They have a long buffet of food(mostly Spanish cuisine) behind glass as well as a flat top to cook other menu items to order. Pay and pick up in front and grab a seat at the long bar overlooking Wyckoff Ave. Prices are good($ 5 – 10 mostly) and the service was decent. I ordered a bacon and cheese omelette($ 6) which came with a couple pieces of white toast and home fries. Nothing fancy, just a run of the mill styrofoam plate of food to fill you up for a low cost. I don’t know how good all the pre-made food is, there’s a lot of options(much more than what’s on their delivery menu). The lasagna didn’t look that great but the plantains and some of the meats looked pretty good. I don’t like commenting on other peoples meals that I haven’t tried but I have a Dominican friend who said he’s had the sancocho(meat stew) here and was thrilled with it. I’m eager to see more reviews come in for this place before I go out of my way to come back for round two.

Went out looking for a place to eat while visiting my mom at Wyckoff Hospital, and tired of the usual Subway-or-Dunkin-Donuts selection, my father and I happened upon this place. Dad literally stumbled in the side door(watch that step btw), and we were warmly greeted by the owner of the place – I’m sure as much to assess his own potential liability for an elderly guy flailing his way into the restaurant as much as an expression of good will. Nevertheless, felt instantly welcomed. They gave us some free horchata while we examined the menu. Finally settled on some tacos – a little this and a little that. Cheap, filling, and really REALLY yummy. The place is super-clean and the owner and his crew super-friendly.
