Just had my lashes done yesterday and I AM IN LOVE! Volume lashes are kind of the new trend in NYC but i’ve been getting mine done every time i go to LA for like the last year or so. Finally found an awesome lash tech here named Gin. I got a 3D volume set which is basically 3 times the lashes you would normally get with regular eyelash extensions. I was really scared that they would be too heavy or look like a strip lash but these are just AMAZING and feel way lighter than what i am used to. They give you a super full look which is great because I hate having super long spidery lashes with spaces in between. This is the real-​deal RUSSSIAN VA VA VOOM VOLUME LASHES!
PROS:
–The lash tech was super knowledgeable, and professional. Apparently she is a lash world champion of some sort. She had a super soft touch, i honestly passed out for like 2 hours
–the room is private, so you’re one on one with the lash girl
–they’re super clean and sanitary and use disposable sheets and pillow cases on a really comfortable massage bed.
–no cheesy spa music– you can spotify whatever u want
–the receptionists give you green tea, coffee whatever you want
CONS:
–hard to get an appointment, book in advance
–its inside of a high end hair salon, on the 4^th floor of a big building and its a little hard to find
–took around 2+ hours to do full set which is not really a con since most volume lashes usually take 2 – 3 hours based on my experience but hey at least u can take a nap!
