I take out from here all the time. It’s a pretty average Thai place with the usual lunch special and average prices. BUT there is one thing on the menu that you can’t pass up: the Pineapple fried rice. Yes, it is some extra mullah… But the taste is on par. It might not be the most traditional, but I can’t get enough of this flow. There’s not much seating but they pack the joint up doe! This joint is clutch for stuytown dwellers.

Come here for lunch at least once a week with coworkers. Beef/chicken drunken noodle is awesome. Highly recommended. Can get crowded around lunchtime, suggest coming in ½ hour early.

Very nice garnish work and a tasty surprise. I thought this would not be high quality based on the price and some reviews but it’s actually a very nice thai place. Just dont get the dessert they are pretty small for the price.

I very much loved my lunch – the Tom Yum soup, and Pad Kee Mao with chicken. An excellent mixture of spices. The heavy dressing on the lunch salad was not to my liking, but enjoyed the service and atmosphere. I have to check this place out for seamless orders. The portions and prices are very reasonable by New York standards. Thai food may be back on the rise!

Ordered Seamless from here(along with my friend at work) because lunch special was decently priced and included spring roll and the side salad. She got the curry massaman and i got the shrimp pad kee mao(I was in a spicy mood!). While she thoroughly enjoyed hers, I wasn’t as big of a fan of my food. The spring roll wrapper was thick and a bit hard. The side salad with peanut dressing was tasty though. The pad kee mao was a bit too mushy and flavor was OK, but wasn’t spicy enough for my taste. I asked for hot oil on the side(I got hot sauce) but it still wasn’t spicy enough for my liking. I’d try another dish if i ordered from here again.

Best Thai delivery in the neighborhood. My experience is exclusively from seamless ordering, but the flavors, portion sizes, and delivery times are spot on. Can’t really go wrong

This place has awesome lunch specials! Found it on Unilocal and wanted to give it a try. The special had salad(small but tasty), one spring role and a bunch of choices for the main dish. I got the pad thai with chicken. It was pretty good. I would recommend it if you are in the neighborhood and want to have an affordable but filling lunch.

This place is adorably warm and cozy. I’ve lived across the street for a year now, and I’ve eaten here at least once a week. It never gets old. Service is the absolute best and their food is delicious and totally affordable. Try the basil chicken or the pad prik king! I’m moving soon and didn’t want to leave the neighborhood without leaving a review — I’m definitely going to miss the crew that works here. Give this place a try if you haven’t already!

We’ve been eating and getting takeout from Bangkok 2 Thai for about three years now and have never had a bad experience. The food is good, standard Thai food and the service is great. The delivery times on Seamless are pretty much always accurate. Eating at the restaurant is also good. They have a BYOB special where if you spend a certain amount, you can open your own bottle free of charge. Some good dishes include: spring rolls, Drunken Chicken noodles, and Cashew Chicken. It’s a great local spot for people in the Stuyvesant Town area.

Excellent for lunch with a group! I can here with about 5 people and had the lunch special which includes a salad, spring roll and entrée for about $ 8-$ 11! Can’t beat he price! Plus a $ 5 glass of Chardonnay isn’t bad either! The food was fresh and tasty.

Love the drunken noodles here! It’s my go to item. I also enjoy the green curry. I’ve seen some lackluster reviews about their Pad Thai but I think it’s fine. I really recommend you try something new with the drunken noodles though. I can’t stop coming back for them!

Great late night drunk food. Their drunken noodles are spot on. Spicy but not too spicy. Sweet, salty, tangy. Everything I want from thai food and everything I want for a hearty filling dinner.

Far exceeded my expectations. Don’t be put off by the fact this is a small neighborhood restaurant. Just had a dinner here that compares favorably with the best Thai food I’ve had over the years. My choices were Bang-bang chicken as an appetizer and a standard, but not always done well, Pad Thai, for the main course. Mine was chicken. The appetizer was amazing. It was quite spicy as I requested and so flavorful and very crunchy on the outside. I loved it– and would be happy to order it again and again. My Pad Thai was done very nicely too– also spicy as I requested(although typically I know this dish is not made very spicy). Service was helpful and pleasant. The people helping me were genuine when they inquired how I liked the dishes. This felt different from a typical uninspired«how was everything» question in many places.

Great flavors, spectacular service, and decent prices for thai food. The portions were truly gigantic. Usually I am able to finish my whole meal at thai food places. However, I could only finish about 2/3rds of my Drunken Noodles with beef. The thai iced tea was a bit too sweet, but delicious nonetheless. Great vibes in this restaurant, would go again.

Another one of those places that I have been to a few times before but have not reviewed! They have an amazing lunch deal for $ 7.95, I did notice from another Unilocal friends’ review that the price has gone up by a dollar. Still it’s a great deal for lunch, with about 12 options for the lunch menu. Lunch comes with a spring roll and a salad and your main dish. Today I had the Masaman Curry — lovely and smooth, not to spicy with the flavor of the fish sauce shining through. Another great meal on a budget place, a definite must do!

I’ve been having take out lunch here for the past couple of weeks and this place is definitely a place to try. The place is very small, but they somehow managed to have plenty of seats available. I have not dined in but as far as take out goes it’s very filling for the price. Quality of the food is great and filling, the containers are always filled to the top… no skimping here. I’ve had the Mommy’s Chicken, Pad Thai, Thai Fried Rice, Steamed and Fried Chicken Dumplings, and also the Crispy Tofu. All were amazing! My only complaint of the food I had was the dumplings, I’ve had better for cheaper. Other than that this place is definitely a spot to check out!

If you need a quick bite around this area, this is a great choice. Mommy’s fried chicken is very delicious! I would love to come here again for fried chicken. Totally recommend it. Other than that, it’s just a Thai food restaurant.

This restaurant serves Thai food that remains par for the course. It won’t knock your socks off but then again, it’s difficult to find a Thai restaurant in the city that will. The décor is definitely very casual, suitable for a quick sit-down lunch with a least a couple of servers managing the floor. We were here for dinner and in a time crunch to catch a performance at nearby Gramercy Theatre. We stopped in and were ushered to an open table.(A little on the cramped side but manageable) and ordered Drunken noodles and Pad Thai(chicken), basically standard fare as far as Thai cuisine goes. It didn’t take long for the dishes to come out as both were noodle dishes. Mine came with the requisite slivers of carrots adorning the top with pad thai noodles and chicken stir-fried within. I’d say the best way to describe my dish was«saucy». I typically prefer my Pad Thai on the drier side, and what arrived was a stringy noodly mosh. Yes, it was Pad Thai, and it tasted of Pad Thai, but it was distinctly wet and stuck together. Oh I finished it alright, but it’s in my nature not to waste food. The drunken noodles, from my recollection were good but spicy, as it should be.(to what degree, I’m uncertain). I’m sure they’re fine for lunch but for dinner plans, you may want to consider alternatives. definitely a 3.5 star. Will come back for lunch someday if I’m in the area as they have good lunch specials.
