This place is my regular weekend breakfast delivery place. I usually get a toasted onion bagel scooped out with vegetable cream cheese and a omelette with hash browns. Portions are good and they always get my order right. They also deliver my order at a reasonable time. Nothing spectacular about this place but nothing bad either. Just a good neighborhood quick and easy deli joint

i walk by there about twice a month, depending on how i go home but they are ‘never open’. and i am never arriving all that late. one time i saw the neon open sign lit so i go in. CWOSED! screams the lady. i told her that the signs still say open. CWOSED she screams again. it was 5pm. whatever,

My go to Bagel place in the morning. Nothing special, delicious breakfast sandwiches, decent service. As to the people asking why they charge to toast a bagel, as a food service person it’s mostly because of the time needed. Now I know someone is going to say you just pop it in and take it out, no cost, but time is money, even twenty seconds, even more when it throws their momentum off, especially when many people are waiting because someone wants it a certain shade of golden brown. With that being said I get my breakfast sandwiches on a toasted AND buttered bagel, and gladly pay extra for it :) Prices do vary depending on who rings you up each day, but not by much. I don’t think it’s malicious, just no good system in place.

I’ve been coming to this bagel shop for close to ten years. The quality of the bagels has gradually declined over the course of the years. The bagels are burnt and stale most days now. But what really brings me here is the absolutely awful costumer service being provided by the owner. I was literally scolded by the owner over the phone for not answering either my door or my phone(my door was never rang) and later I found out he had not actually written my apartment number on the ticket. One star for Bagels Plus. The second star goes to the hard working guys in the back who are always fast and attentive. The owner could take a lesson on costumer service from those guys.

Awful service terrible management. Manager so rude. He took order/sent wrong order was yelling on phone. Completely terrible experience. Asking for refund and is being told to wait until tomorrow.

This place has fallen downhill over the last few years, or maybe it’s always been this way. This place reeks of greediness and the owner does not make this place one bit better – it’s the guy who is always at the register that can’t care to crack a smile, doesn’t greet you, and treats you like you’re only a number, good for your money. Worst yet, he has even opened my sandwich with his nasty, ungloved hands to check what it was because he couldn’t hear me well – yup, his money-touching hands was just the quintessential finishing ingredient I needed to fill my empty stomach. The workers who make your food, on the other hand, are actually quite friendly and nice. They’re quick and efficient and really answer to your needs. When my food isn’t touched with bare hands, I quite enjoy their bagel sandwiches.

Welcome to Mr. Krabs’ Bagels Plus. I’ve been living in Woodside for the past 11 years and this is our place to go when we want bagels. The bagels are really good, it’s what one would expect from a NY-bagel. This is what everyone talks about. Unfortunately a couple of years ago the shop was sold and a different owner came to town. The new owner is a snake, cheap as hell. He would do everything in his power to save a penny. Extra ham will cost you $ 2(you get only one slice of ham), so are extra egg. A dozen of bagels costs $ 10, but if you order 10 bagels he will also charge you $ 10 and he will get mad at their employees for telling you to take 2 more. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been a client for a decade, the guy doesn’t care. He will be rude and treat you poorly. At least Mr. Krabs is funny, this guy is not.

Good food, good prices, but this place cannot handle a rush. Three times I have walked out after waiting too long to order, and regretted placing an order after other painful waits. If your core business is bagels, a bagel and a coffee should be so speedy it is almost grab and go.

Local Woodside bagel spot can be in hit or miss sometimes. Sometimes the bagels are really good and soft and warm and yummy and then other times they can be hard as a rock and a total miss. Just OK bagel spot it’s not a place I would run to make it I need your bagels as a craving. Service moves quickly, place your order go the counter pay and pick it up. There prices are moderate but they may need to start stepping it up since Dunkin’ Donuts is move in right across the street. Oh something strange I told the lady at the counter my order. She rang me up I see the total is $ 10.07 so I gave her a $ 10 bill and $.10 she then says to me it’s 11 something I pointed to the register and she says to me I didn’t had your tea OK whatever I gave her the money waited for my change and I never saw her add the tea to the total on the register which is strange what is trying to pocket the price of a cup of tea? This place has always through the years given different prices on the same item you may have ordered for years there not consistent and they charge you to toast your bagel

Well they’ve just lost my business. I ordered a ham, egg and cheese bagel with extra ham(cost extra $ 2.00). After I opened my bagel and saw only two slices of ham, I asked if there was mistake. He told me they only use one slice of ham and extra meant you get one more slice. I asked the cashier who I think owns the place, she looked confused but after one of the guys whispered in her ear then she just stuck with the story. So I ended up paying $ 2.00 for a slice of ham… They just couldn’t put a few more slices or offered to. It sucks because I’ve came here since I was a kid but I’ll just take my business else where.

It’s the neighborhood bagel shop. Bagels are OK it’s just annoying that they started to charge $ 0.15 for toasting. I mentioned recently they are open until 9 p.m. as they use to close by 5:30 p.m. I guess they will be hurting from the upcoming Dunkin Donuts shop across the street that will be opening up soon and they are trying to find new way to serve the neighborhood. I would like them to do well as small business so I would suggest they work on better quality Bagels, Pricing and listen to your customers and wave $ 0.15 toasting charge as most of your customers are annoyed by it. Improve your menu and be more flexible with credit cards charges. Good luck!

Somebody on google wrote, «I don’t get why they charge extra to toast bagels.» I’ve often unconsciously thought that myself a few times. Definitely way better than DnD.

Decent bagels but was just charged 15 cents extra for my bagel to be toasted. This price is not listed anywhere which seems shady to me. Cashier said it is due to rising electricity costs. It’s not the point of the charge but the way it is added on that didn’t sit well with me. Will go elsewhere for bagels as soon as another place opens up nearby.

I absolutely love this place because they are always so accommodating when you want to make changes to any sandwich, wrap, or burger and my food always taste fresh. They do take a bit long for delivery on the weekend but that’s understandable

Whole wheat everything bagel toasted with butter, two egg-whites and avocado. That is my order every time and it’s always fantastic! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My neighborhood go-to place for breakfast and delivery!

Recently I have been grabbing a quick breakfast from them on the weekends while on the go. The place isn’t super fancy, but their sandwiches speak for themselves! I haven’t been able to digest bagels in recent years(probably the reason I stopped coming here for a little while) but I am able to order a bacon, egg, & cheese on croissant instead while my bf grabs his bagel fix & tries ordering new combinations every visit we make. For under $ 13 two people can grab a hearty breakfast with 2 drinks & walk away full & satisfied and not«overly stuffed». For those looking for a «lighter option» their smoothies & shakes are not to be missed!

Consistently good breakfast spot. Don’t get fancy — go ham and egg bagel or something and you can’t go wrong. Always has teachers from the school across the street so don’t expect a table to be free school days. Parking OK. Been here a long time with good NYC restaurant inspection results, always a plus.
