It tasted just like the iced coffee I had from Aroma in Israel. This location is hard to find but definitely worth the hike from Midtown. I’m giving it four stars because when I was there last week they didn’t really clean up the tables when I was there and they were a little sticky

Reading some of the reviews makes me question one’s reality… AEB provides the finest nexus of quality and price. I see them as a disruptor in NYC where too many vendors totally lose it on the value side. Guess I’m tired of differentiation and look for the solid basics. It’s no surprise to me that AEB was conceived and implemented by a family in Italy. I’m sold(from someone who does business and travels globally every month…) Well Done AEB! I’m now a NYC regular!

I was excited to try this place because I saw it was near my workplace. Turns out, they don’t like to provide the customer with good customer service. First, I asked for an iced mocha but she shut me down immediately and said they«didn’t do that». No offer of a similar or better choice. Second, when I was perplexed by the higher total I did end up paying, I asked why I was charged for a large(20oz) drink when I wanted and was given a small(16oz) drink. She didn’t say sorry or try to help figure out what we could do to solve the problem. Instead she kept trying to point out that the tax was added to the drink and also threw out numbers that didn’t even correspond to the receipt or menu prices. The sandwich was the correct price but not the drink. The receipt clearly shows the taxes are added after the subtotal. Overall, this was a frustrating and overwhelming experience and I was left feeling worse than when I came in(when I was hoping to recharge and refuel from good food, coffee and environment). Such a shame. Ps, there was a worker who seemed like the manager/team lead that was around the whole situation and he ignored me. That’s the worst you could do, customer service-wise. Thanks a lot.

Great food and ice aroma can’t be beat. Too bad manager is more interested in her phone than helping inexperienced cashier with a line!

This place would’ve gotten 5 stars but the simple fact that the upkeep of the shop is poor, floors are not attended to and there’s only ONE, yes one, unisex bathroom. I tried to order the affogato which is my go to Italian coffee drink anywhere, not just NYC and they didn’t have ice cream! So I ended up getting the Espresso Macchiato served with a small chocolate on the side so I thought that was cool. It was averagw nothing to go crazy for.

I visited on a Monday morning in late May, when the temperature outside was a pleasant 72 degrees. To my dismay, the temperature INSIDE was around 85. The manager, Miller, informed me they don’t turn on the A/C until summertime. As a patron, I am left to wonder if this policy is meant to keep the café empty during the late spring?! The bathroom was similarly disappointing. There was a ton of grafitti on the walls and mirror and no hand towels in the dispenser. When Miller served up our coffees, although he saw that we were seated at the end of the bar, he couldn’t be bothered to hand them to us. Instead, he made eye contact with us and placed them on the OTHEREND so WE had to get up to get them. That’s the level of service you can expect here.

This is one of my go to spots for working or if I have time to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. There are a lot of seats but at peak hours they get filled pretty quickly. The coffee and food is good although they are a little bit pricey. The atmosphere is a little noisy when it is crowded but typically weekdays and weeknights aren’t that filled. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a solid café to work or meet up with friends etc.

Pros: food was fresh and delicious. The price was fair. There were plenty of healthy options to choose from and the staff was flexible with the menu. There were also low carb and low fat options, which I appreciate. My friend is vegetarian and she didn’t have a hard time ordering, either. The interior was relatively clean. Service was friendly. There are stools to sit on and the bar wraps around the interior, looking out. There are also cute-looking tables. Takes credit cards Cons: took a bit long to get a simple order on a non-busy, well-staffed evening. This place looks like it should keep a faster-food pace. However, the food was super fresh, so I guess it was worth it.(Took about 15 min for scrambled eggs)

I have been to Aroma SoHo at least 5 – 6 times and my memory of all the other times is that it is busy, crowded and the food healthy and delicious. What I did not remember was the terrible, impossible and jaw-dropping poor service I received yesterday 3⁄16 at around noon. It wasn’t busy yet and every single employee I encountered was unhelpful, uncommunicative and blatantly rude. 1) When I asked what the soup of the day was the person behind the register said«ask over there» yet he was next to the kitchen. I walked 10 feet«over there» to ask someone else and she said«ask him»(meaning the order taker who just sent me to her). 2) When i went to put in my order, the same person asked me what I wanted with my eggs and wasn’t clear what was included and what was additional money. I had to ask him for each of the 5 items which was included and which was not. He wasn’t friendly or helpful and shouldn’t be in that job. 3) I picked my order up at the counter and it was mistakenly in a giant paper bag«to go» instead of «to stay» which I had requested. Bag didn’t include salt or jam even though it was«to go.» A few minutes later I said hello to a woman cleaning the table next to me and asked if I could give her said paper giant bag(folded neatly) — she said«No.» She went on her merry way cleaning tables and puttering with my jaw on the floor. Message to the owners: train your people, send spies to catch them at this poor service or you will not have customers.

This is one of my favorite spots in SoHo to sit and chill when I have time and can afford to spend $ 20 for lunch. Its spacious, bright and the music is great(not too loud). I generally get the Grilled Chicken Ceasar, a latte and a cookie(for later). The Lattes are BOMBDIGGITY! Thick, rich, and airy Their salad is very good. Chicken breast is grilled to-order, chopped and served hot over the greens. Their choc chip cookies are AMAYYYYZINGGGG! OMG! Totally worth it the price you’ll pay. Just dont be in a rush!

Years ago I use to wk around the corner(at a boutique, not… you know, not a street walker or anything!). Any who, this place was my breakfast spot(delivery usually Frm the website) and place for an iced coffee before work(really it’s frozen coffee like a slush). Recently the ice coffee was so sweet I can’t even handle it. So I lost my desire for it. Quite sad, cause I use to order everyday for months. Plus, it can’t be changed cause I think it’s pre mixed like a slushy machine. Bad part, always a line to order and no seats available cause so many people are tourist and taking a break inside as well. And it’s one of the rare casual places to recharge from all the shopping in soho. Lastly, I was bummed to see a B Frm the health department. So I probably will not be going back for a while. I will miss the complimentary piece of chocolate(that’s like Andes) for every order. Bummer.

This place has by far the best coffee you can ever get! I am a big fan of sweet drinks so this place is my heaven. They give you a piece of chocolate that goes perfectly well with the drinks. It does take a little longer to get your drink(about 15 min for a hot latte) so if you’re in a hurry, go to Starbucks instead but I assure you that the quality is incomparable. And…can we all just take a moment to appreciate the adorable cups that it comes in? Totally IG/Snapchat worthy. I almost bought a mug to bring back to LA but I didn’t want to carry it around town. In conclusion… AROMA, CANYOUOPENONEINLAPLEASEPLEASEPRETTYPLEASE?

Definitely want to go back for those delicious halwa pastries. Their hot chocolate is very different than regular hot chocolate. Its thick and perfectly chocolate-y, meaning doesn’t lean too much towards white or dark. It is concentrated on the bottom at first, so you have to stir it to mix it properly. Must visit while taking a shopping break at Soho :)

Wow, for lunch this place was packed. I love how they offer a good selection of Vegan since a good portion of our team are. I also love all their healthy eats like their shakes and teas. And for us coffee cappucinoo lovers, they are pretty darn good here too! Man… this place rocks for sure not just on sandwiches and salads, but their service is just fantastic! Until then, Cheers! ~ :p

Have been here a few times and each time have been pretty satisfied! Only one did we get a really bad cup of coffee for I’m not sure what reason. Each drink comes with a small chocolate! Sometimes hard to get a table but the food has been consistently good when I’ve been.

One of the hot spots in Soho. They have a wide menu for sandwiches and breakfast(oatmeal, pastries, etc). I have to admit, this place will never be my go-to coffee spot in Soho because the interior design and arrangement is too awkward for me to just sit and relax. I couldn’t find an outlet or outlets are just too hard to find. I came in with my laptop to catch up on my stuff and it was so uncomfortable because the table is so narrow(I think that’s the correct term) so it was hard to eat and work on my laptop. So I don’t really recommend this place if you just want to sit and go on your laptop. They offer wifi so that’s a bonus. However, I will not argue with their food except for the fact that my oatmeal was soaked into the hot water so it tasted bland but brown sugar did the favor even though the oatmeal was still really soaked and too soft. Idk how long they had my oatmeal sitting LOL. I will come back from time to time if I’m in the neighborhood, just not to eat-in.

This place has their breakfast menu available all day — which means night time breakfast. Great place to come to for a quick and simple meal if you are looking for something outside the traditional Fresh & Co/Panera/Cosi options. Place also has plenty of open seating with outlets next to seats, a potential great spot for working.

Le café était bon et à bonne température. Il vient avec un petit chocolat pour agrémenter le tout. Le service est rapide. Le menu semblait bon. Par contre, ce n’est pas un petit café de quartier. L’endroit est propre et bien situé sur une artère passante.

After a not so pleasant experience last time, the manager reached out to me, apologized, and offered me a comp card to give aroma another try. This is the aroma I’m looking for! Decent service, the ice aroma was on point, and orders were moving quickly. I got my ice aromas about two minutes after I ordered them and the woman who called my name said it with a smile on her face. Thanks aroma! I will be back!

came in here during one of my soho outings to see what all the hype was about. GREAT coffee, but poor customer service(–1 star). i asked the girl at the register what the iced aroma was, and she said it was coffee with milk, which prompted me to ask what the difference was between that and a latte. she said it was pre-made and flavorful, so i decided to drop $ 5+ on it. little did i know, it’s actually kindof like a frappuccino, so i explained the confusion to the girl who made the drink and asked for a latte instead. she and another girl stared at me, took the complementary chocolate away, and handed me my latte without a word. okay. i’ll definitely be back as my latte was delicious and i now want to buy some of their espresso beans, but, customer service was lacking and quite unfriendly.

The best thing to get here are the drinks because no matter what, it will taste delicious. I love getting the iced aroma(best for the summer), but I don’t mind getting some of the warmer drinks in the winter. I am disappointed in their sandwiches. They are bland, hard to eat, and just meh. The service is okay. Not great bust not too terrible. Expect to wait a while for your order especially if you ordered food.
