The chicken on rice with white and green sauce is some sleep inducing halal goodness which will give you a food coma in the afternoon. But it is the best $ 5 you can spend in NYC.

So, I’ve been eating a lot of salads for lunch recently. I wanted something different, and boy, did I get it at what I *think* was Armaan Kebab.(I went to the block on which it was listed, and there were 2 Halal carts, neither of which had a sign indicating it was Armaan Kebab. But using my deductive reasoning – $ 6 for 2 Kati rolls on the menu + this cart being much more crowded than the other option, I can only assume that I am reviewing the correct place). As other Unilocalers recommended, I tried the 2 Kati Rolls – one lamb, one chicken. Both were greasy delights, but I had a slight preference for the chicken. I appreciated the variety in seasonings, though, and would probably order the combo again. Overall, a good value, but an impossibility for a daily meal.

I am not a fan of greasy food… but this halal cart. Is one of the best I have ever had… I always get there around 7++. It’s a really friendly guy who cooked really fast and it’s really delicious. really great biryani… he recognizes my friend and I and always talk to us…(and offered us a bottle of water or a can of soda) ;P Sometimes. we were there after 8. It was another guy. He is kinda slow at preparing the biryani rice. but he prepared it so well and the presentation was really good. usually cart food were just a bunch of rice and chicken/lamb and all the sauce you want. the guy that made the biryani rice took his time to make sure he prepared good food for his customer… Kati Roll. To be honest. This cart has the best kati roll… I think it’s better than kati roll company. not because it’s cheap. the wrap was really crispy and hot. that’s why I like it. I love both lamb and chicken… My friend and I came here on an average of twice a week. The worker already know us well enough. haha. My friend always asked for extra eggs. but they ran out of it so they gave us falafel. :D
