I ordered a calzone. I chose to add in pepperoni and prosciutto for an additional $ 3.00 each. I checked out for a grand total of $ 30.00! For a calzone! I have ordered other meals from Angelo in the past that were good overall. So I figured I would give it a try,. This was the worst calzone I have ever had in my life. I paid thirty dollars for a completely empty calzone. Not only were the pepperoni and prosciutto that I paid extra for no where to be found, but all of the other ingredients were completely missing. I essentially paid $ 30 for a big piece of bread. I was robbed and it’s ridiculous that Angelo Bellini pulls this kind of BS.

Well, I used to go here all the time, but over the years, their service has started to lack. I was having lunch with a friend one day and we asked for a glass of wine. The server had an attitude and it seems like every time I go there, the servers are the same way and honestly act like they don’t want to be there. About a year ago I was there and asked for a meatball panini. The meatballs were frozen, so I’m guessing not all of their food is fresh.

Pretty mediocre Italian food. I ordered a basil pesto lobster ravioli, and it was much too oily for my taste– the restaurant is spacious and romantic though, so extra stars for atmosphere. However, the prices are too high for the quality of food you get– my friend ordered the cheapest pasta on the menu and I felt like I could’ve made better spaghetti and meatballs myself.

Can’t give a zero. Placed an order that was over 20 minutes late. Asked for light sauce and got dry pasta with no sauce and no cheese(which was listed as included). They admitted to forgetting cream. In an attempt to get a refund was verbally attacked by the owner. I am absolutely disgusted at his lack of respect and professionalism. And over what,$ 10?

We wandered off the street because of a yen for pizza. The restaurant was clean, orderly, neither hot nor cold. White tablecloths and napkins looked as if they had just come from the ironing board. The waitstaff were attentive and very pleasant. And the food: Fresh, fresh bread with butter & Olive oil were served. The bread was hot and the Olive oil represented a good start to the meal. And the pizza nearly made we swoon. It was delicious having baked in a brick oven where diners could watch the creation. Without exaggeration, this is the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. My biggest disappointment is that I live far from NYC. Come try this jewel

What a waste of time and a disgusting place. The manager/owner is rude and arrogant. We ordered from a glutten free menu and was told because we didn’t provide a doctor’s note confirming the allergy we were told it was our fault. Completely disgusting. I will NEVER go here again

This is by far, hands down, best pizza in my neighborhood! Thank goodness! The ambience is great and so is the food. I mainly come here for the pizza. This isn’t a great place for wines by the glass, so if you must have wine with dinner(not pizza), be ready.

Such a great experience as always! I’m not sure why it’s not busy, but the food is delicious, and the staff is so friendly /attentive. Bolognese is SO good, and so is the salad dressing(I know, random!) Will continue to come back and enjoy it!

I had a ridiculous craving for Pasta Bolognese. I literally researched restaurants for an hour and a half before choosing one. lol crazy I know, but this is serious business. So I finally decided on Angelo Bellini. I was really happy with my meal. I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese, Chocolate Soufflé, and Caprese. It came on time, hot, and packaged well. They included a bag of little bit sized French bread, so delicious. They also had everything I needed: parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, forks, napkins. This seriously hit the spot, so now on to the next craving.

My boyfriend and I were here last Saturday as I was treating him to what I thought would be a nice dinner before an evening at the ballet. When we arrived for our 6:00pm reservation the restaurant was completely empty. By 7:00 there were about 4 tables and it was already noises. We ordered the bruchetta which was mediocre and then my pasta tasted like nothing but burnt garlic and my boyfriends pesto was soaked with cream. It was almost inedible. We had the apple tart for desert and it was okay. The service wasn’t bad and our food came out at appropriate times, but the quality of the food was completely unacceptable for a 100 $ bill with no alcohol. I wouldn’t recommend it or be coming back.

Was there two weeks ago on Tuesday with my friend. We walked around the area and find this place, so we decided to explore it. We ordered some kind of pasta with seafood, pizza and fried calamari. The pizza was delicious and I liked that. There is an opportunity to add extra different toppings. Unfortunately they did not have pineapple on the list of toppings. But it’s ok. I liked they pizza. However I do not one thing — it was sauce for fried calamari — it was very-very hot. Our waiter Lola(I think her name was lola) was pretty nice and attentive. Price was reasonable. Overall, I had no complaints and I would definitely return the next time

Portions were small. Chicken parm and chicken piccata was a little rubbery. The gnocchi was not bad and they were pretty quick in delivery but food could have been better.

Placed an order at 7.30 when the wait said about 30 mins. It’s 8.30 and I just checked the status which said that my order might be here at 9.10. This restaurant is one street and half a block away. Not impressed so far. UPDATE: I’m not sure if the delay was the fault of Seamless or the restaurant itself. I got my food at 9pm. I will say the lady who picked up my call was extremely apologetic and even the delivery guy apologized. The food was good. Not amazing, but I’d order from them again. I got the spaghetti and meatballs and the the ziti bolognese. The spaghetti was the winner. It was a lot of food and even though it was crazy late I appreciate the service once I called. Mistakes happen.

We came here for lunch on a Sunday and it was a great experience! The service was superb, the waiter was friendly and helpful. He made me feel right at home and even sent us home with some warm extra rolls because my son loved them. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, especially for New York. We got the angel hair pasta with clams, caprese salad, and seafood pasta to share. All of it was homemade, fresh, and delicious! The portions were decently sized without being overwhelming. Overall, I had no complaints and I would definitely return the next time I’m in New York!

Wandered in after walking 20 blocks back from The Met — hot, tired, and hungry. At 3:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday, we were the only ones I the restaurant. Still had great service and excellent, fresh pizza.

I had a great experience here. Place is new and cosy. They have a nice brick oven and staff is very friendly. Highly recommend fettuccine con Salmone. We also had fritto di calamari and Pesto pizza which was light and crispy. Price is also reasonable. BraVo!

Just came here for lunch and the restaurant was about half full. They had a very reasonably priced lunch menu(chicken parm panini with fries for $ 10.95). So cheap for this area! Fries were the crunchy seasoned kind(mmmmmmmmm) and panini was fresh and tasty. Service was great — we were checked on often(sometimes a little too often) and food came out pretty fast too. Would definitely recommend!

We went here after a long day at the client site. It was about 8PM and most of the restaurants in the area were somewhat empty. It was a Monday night — so I didn’t expect it to be crowded. It is a very authentic looking Italian place with brick faced walls and a bar running along some of the eating area. There was a huge table of about 50 people eating… so it looked empty at first but then they had this massive party to serve. I thought this would really delay our meal, but it didn’t. They took our starter orders and drinks right away. Brought them out quickly and were very attentive. They took a while to get back to us for our main course order, but with a table of 50 needing service, what would you expect? The Chicken Marsala was very good. The bread was great and veggies were cooked perfectly. Definitely a good choice for date night or after work meal. Don’t sit too close to the front door in the winter if you don’t want to catch a chill though. They seemed to do a huge business with delivery too. The delivery guys were were constantly streaming out of the restaurant with bags of food — so there appears to be a big demand.
