Just found her info online for lock maintenance and she suggested that I give interlock a try. I interlocked, got a TLC with each strand and not to mention the shop itself is very spotless. Though she was somewhat rude when she hardly greeted me, I might revisit again since I like what she have done to my locks.

Went here for an installation of starter locs and can’t remember the price, but there was a great coupon deal something to the effects of $ 70.00 for a $ 125 service.
I initially left a voicemail on the answering machine and then called back the next day to set an appointment. We did a quick hair consultation on the phone where Andrea asked me about my hair history (relaxed v. natural) as well as the products that I used. She was able to book me that same week, which was great!
I arrived to the shop about 10 minutes early and had to call the owner — I was the first appointment for the day and she lives within walking distance. We immediately got started and Andrea provided a lovely scalp massage/​peppermint shampooing. Andrea is really pleasant and so friendly, so we spent the next hours (locs take a long time) gabbing it up. Her entire day was focused on me, which was great — there was no long lines of other appointments! She offered to order/​pick up food throughout the day and constantly checked to make sure I was comfortable through the process.
I was surprised that there wasn’t much discussion on my locing goals, like my desired size but she provided with me with an installation of 2-​strand twist that were nice and uniform. She also gave me a side part, a really nice feminine touch to my new locs.
All in all, a great first visit to the business and I’ll be sure to visit back for my hair needs!

Fabulous. Great service, great personality, and priced within reason. Best yet – one appointment at a time, so no stylist juggling multiple clients all at once. Looking forward to going back!
