Beautiful home décor and furniture at really great prices. As the others have mentioned, the focus is mostly Asian, but there are also some American vintage looking styles as well. We actually saw similar pieces at ABC Home and they were double the price or more. They also seem to have sales running where you can get at least 40% off of the regular price. Worth stopping by for.

This original Chinese antique furniture and reproduction shop is stellar in craftsmanship, price, and service. The majority of pieces in the shop are genuine antiques or pre-​antiques, while other pieces are reproductions of Chinese furniture modeled after historical designs. The owner of this shop has a reproduction facility in China where all of the reproductions are created, including cabinets, tables, stools, chests, chairs, door and window wood treatments (like screens), and an assortment of other home accessories. The owner also travels throughout China quite a few times a year to buy antiques, where they are treated (according to import guidelines) at his facility in China and then shipped to New York. The fact that ANC is a direct importer and manufacturer enables them to totally bypass any and all middle buyers and thereby set affordable prices compared to similar shops in New York City, which can be very pricey (like ABC Carpet), since most purchase their merchandise via wholesalers.
It’s only a two-​minute walk from Union Square and they’re usually open until seven or eight in the evening. If anything, it’s a great place to browse, considering the staff is really friendly and knowledgeable, and the shop is fairly easy to maneuver through, since it’s not as cluttered as other antique furniture shops.
I’ve purchased quite a few pieces from ANC, which I regard as collectibles, and I’m sure I’ll cherish them for years and years to come.

Such a find– great Asian (mostly Chinese) furniture… cheap! If you are interested in colorful antique cabinets, chairs, chests, beds, etc, this is THE place in NYC to go.
