Neighborhood Manhattan deli with Brooklyn prices. I have been coming here for a couple years now and have gotten constantly high quality food. Best part is as a regular I always receive a warm reception.
My only complaint is that I received somewhat overcooked sandwiches a few times that left a burnt aftertaste. However, the times I received an imperfect sandwich are few in number compared to the amount of times my sandwich was created to my exact liking.
Overall, if you live on the UWS and are looking for that neighborhood deli experience that is hard to find in the city, this is the place for you.

Terrible Deli. You’re better off going to Andy’s deli around the corner which is much better! This place takes 20 minutes to make a sandwich, often screws up the order, and is usually overpriced.

Been going here for 12 years. Lost my wallet one night and the guy who’s worked there for at most two years was not gracious enough to give me water, knowing I’d come back the next day with money. He sees me at least 3x per week, I’m a loyal customer. It’s a shame an establishment would turn away a loyal customer who will with no doubt come back, someone who’s spent thousands of dollars there. He’s obviously not seasoned or business savvy enough to know what a loyal customer means in the grand scheme of things. This place has changed and is not the neighborhood place it used to be. For now on, my business will go to 82nd street who welcomes me with open arms and is always happy to see me.

Love this place but just ordered a cubano sandwich and got home to realize it’s a roll with sprouts and tomato. Couldn’t be more opposite of what I ordered. Extremely disappointed.

Went into this store and there was no one else shopping here. I was buying a few things and every time I picked up something the cashier would hit the cash register and started adding everything up. I was taking my time and he just stared me down and sighing loudly. I don’t know what the matter with this guy is. It’s not like he has anything else to do or had anyone else shopping there. And when I was taking cash out to pay he kept pounding the table and sighing like he was in a hurry to do absolutely nothing because it’s not like there was anyone else in the store. And he could have waited until I bought everything to start ringing me up. I don’t know any other place who starts ringing you up as soon as you pick something up. Really obnoxious. They don’t deserve anyone’s business

MAKES UP PRICES AS THEY CHOOSE! multiple things were mislabeled. I’m sure government services would have a field day checking whether they pay their taxes (cash only business that can’t even keep their prices straight) and watching a cat wander around the deli.

You got a really big hot sandwich with chips for 6.45! I am always full after I finish one!
They offer a lot of different food: wraps, breakfast, make your own salad/​pasta, paninis, burger etc.

I have this deli to thank for my recent weight gain.
I come here from time to time when I’m on my lunch break to eat. The prices are cheap, especially for the neighborhood.
Their cold sandwiches, especially the Columbus, is awesome. Huge sandwich served with potato chips is only $ 6 in change. I haven’t tried their hot foods but I have seen the meals being prepared and I makes me want to take out a small personal loan to try them all.
The staff is friendly and attentive. Service is quick.
It’s nothing special to look at inside, but that doesn’t matter. As long as the food is food, which it is, i could watch «Honey Boo Boo» and be ok. But thank god they don’t play that on TV at the deli.
I don’t visit here as often as I’d like, but that’s slowly changing.

I had food delivered and it was cold. The fries were mushy, and the sandwich was simply not good. The chicken was char-​grilled and seemed burned to me. I don’t ever waste food but I couldn’t eat the whole sandwich and threw it away.
They seemed to have a great menu so I was excited but the food I got was simply not good. If you are looking for good quick food, I would sadly not be able to recommend this establishment. In fact, I would suggest you avoid it.

One of my favorites place to drop by for lunch when I am in the area. The owner is a really sweet guy and sometimes throws in a few things for free if you’ve come often enough. The food is served quickly and is such a good price for what it is. I would recommend any of their sandwiches. I am also a huge fan of the lamb and chicken over rice. It is the largest portion ever for just six dollars.

Since they’ve recently updated their menu and layout, this has become one of the better delis uptown. They’ve really upped their game with a bigger menu at really great prices. This place looks a lot nicer and cleaner and also has tables & chairs.

So this use to be a great bodega for all your needs but now the staff has changed quite a bit and so have the prices
They are trying to compete with Lenny’s Gourmet by introducing salads and hot food but with these changes they are jacking up prices which is NOT cool! What they are gonna end up doing is alienating the core neighborhood people while trying to cater to new clientele!
