I just placed an order for delivery and received my order without my pickle. Nothing major right? Yes, nothing major but I like pickles and I was super excited to be having it along with my burger. Well of course I called back. I asked if the delivery guy comes around my area(which is VERY near), would he be able to deliver my pickle? The woman said I did not say anything about a pickle. I said well no I did not because it is on the menu therefore it includes it and if I didn’t want the pickle, then that is when I would say something. The woman says«well you didn’t say you wanted a pickle» & I said«you didn’t ask me». Moral of the story, if I’m missing my pickle then send me the damn pickle. It’s apart of my order and this was YOUR mistake, not mine. Good burger but an upset customer. Happy Holidays

I ordered my food through Seamless and I was not happy about it. I requested my Caesar salad with light dressing but it was DRENCHED in it. I don’t know if you can even call it a salad when I only saw croutons and chicken. This was my first and last time ordering from here. I don’t know why even bother to have an instruction section when they don’t read it. Very disappointing.

A long day at Central Park for Papal visit made us tired, hungry and thirsty. We were led to the 60th /5th Ave exit after the event. This was the first descent and reasonable place we saw after those high end restaurants along the vicinity. It’s a deli style and not much choices left as it will basically be closing pretty soon. Girlfriends ended up having soups/bread while myself tried their Spanish yellow veggie fried rice to match with my leftover egg cake from Whole foods market. I have tried Spanish rice before but I love how their’s tastes… a little pricy for the serving size though. Sufficient tables to carry the crowd, regular size dining area. Restroom is upstairs. Convenient dining location. Will return and consider the place for next visit of ever in the area. Anyway, did not try anything much from their menu.

Back when FAO Schwarz was open this was everyone who worked there’s go-to spot for lunch. Upon reading other reviews I felt the need to chime in on a few things. The reason the staff seem like they’re always in a hurry is because they always need to be in a hurry. They’re one of the best and most reasonably priced restaurants in the area and for this reason the people who work here are in a constant state of being slammed. I have never seen a single person who works here be rude or discourteous to a single customer. Just because they didn’t stop preparing one of their multiple orders to sprinkle fairy dust over your head and tell you what a special snow flake you are does not mean they’re rude. Take a look around you at the massive crowd of people also ordering their lunch and attempt to understand that getting your order to you expeditiously should probably take precedence over unnecessary customer interaction. I would also like to share that their avocado BLT is unparalleled, their fries are consistently perfect, and even though I no longer work in the area I make sure I take every opportunity to eat there. And I want them to know«avocadoBLTgirl» misses them.

Good food nice inside, good staff to accommodate ! Nice place to eat a soup and sandwich if you’re in the area. There’s a tv with the news and they just redid the décor. Chicken noodle is my favorite soup here! Big tables to relax at if you get some good eats!

I come here all the time since it’s right by my job but today I ordered a Blt and they charged me $ 8.00. I always pay $ 4.95 and I expressed that but they told me because it’s 12:30 they have to charge me $ 3.00 extra now. For a stupid bagel. I could’ve gone to chipotle and gotten a big ass burrito for $ 8.00. I returned it and he’s like«No. I don’t want to waste it. Just take it. I owe you three dollars» Screw it; I won’t be back ever.

Great place away from the typical Manhattan mayhem. Good food and well priced. The ordering is a little confusing but once you get it it’s a breeze. Came for breakfast and will probably come back for lunch or breakfast tomorrow. Highly recommend.

I went here to pick out food to bring to Central Park for a picnic since they have a pretty close vicinity to the park. They have a make your own salad option where a medium 4 toppings was $ 7 and 6 toppings was $ 8. They had a large selection of toppings to choose from including sautéed mushrooms, eggplant, grapes, apples, oranges, beets, meat, cheese, hard boiled eggs, croutons, and more. They also have a selection of sandwiches that are shown in the display, but you can ask them to make you whatever you want(I asked for a turkey, American cheese, and guac sandwich on a roll). They also have small fruit salads. They have a lot of as apple and water options. Their prices are definitely more on the pricy side but it was perfect if you are heading to the park since the location was so perfect.

I guess this place beats going to the more expensive Starbucks down the street. It’s got quite a lot of seating area for a small space. I guess you could attribute the high prices to the high rent of Manhattan and being in range of the Apple store and Fao Schwarz(both tourist destinations). It was a bit confusing on where the line for the back area started. There’s no sign saying«line forms here». You order then you pay for your food or you could wait 10 – 15 minutes for them to cook your food and then pay. I got egg and sausage on a roll which costs me about $ 4. The good part is everything is made fresh so when you get your roll, it’s still hot. The downside is that the egg is just scrambled with no seasonings at all. No pepper or salt. The sausage tasted like how sausage patties should taste like. There’s a pretty decent bathroom upstairs for customers to use.

I ordered a smoothie and it tasted like syrup. NO other taste. I requested a black coffee and got cream and sugar in it. Enough said, NOMORE!

$ 5.50 for a plain hamburger that took around 12 minutes to make. Needless to say it was overcooked and didn’t taste juicy at all.

It’s a fine option but here’s a few things to know. 1. Across from WORLDFAMOUSFAOSCHWARZ and the APPLE store. This means, LOTS of Tourists. 2. No clear path to understand the lines for each station. This translates to Order and Payment Mayhem. 3. If you want a platter of hot food, entrée with two sides, head to the back. Very good food and quantity worth the $ 10.50 price tag. Soups, sandwiches, and beverages also offered. Several tables inside or else grab to go. Why not grab a chair(free) out front of Apple and enjoy the weather?

they have one of the very few lines dedicated only to Seamless pick-up orders and for this they get 5 stars. The food quality is consistent with other midtown lunch spots/delis like Café Metro etc. It’s shocking to me that more area workers don’t use their Seamless ordering option. If you don’t use the Seamless option, you will be stuck standing in a confusing line like every other midtown made-to-order deli. To pickup your Seamless order, you just walk to the very back and you’re promptly handed your food and you’re off back to work. Other area lunch places should wake up and also have a dedicated pick-up line.

Ordered scrambled egg on a buttered roll. Got barely scrambled egg(chunks of yellow and white) with plenty of shell and no butter. Not good.

I just got a burger there. I waiting much longer than I needed to because this burger is absolutely disgusting and I asked for pickles but, of course, they didn’t include them. Such a disappointment on my short lunch break.

I work right beside the shop, so whenever i am in a hurry, i go here to grab a lunch. I like the food and also the variety they have. It is tastier than other similar places i have visited nearby. What takes away couple of points are price and service. I don’t mind the price, its not expensive in any way, but similar places nearby are cheaper. And the service is very unreliable. During busy hours, they work fast, catering one customer after another in proper speed. Its a very busy place, so warrants a slight wait. But when you go after the busy hours, their service is lackluster. There have been times that i am the only person standing at the counter, and people are just laughing and talking away, and no one bothered to ask if i need something. So basically, you have to wait no matter when you go. The place does redeem itself a bit as they have some seating option, and have a TV that they broadcast the World Cup matches in. ;) So, in all i would give it 3 out of 5.
