The best colorist in NYC-I’ve been coming here for ten years! Nercy is an amazing person and famous for her coloring! She transforms me inside and out every time I visit. I would go nowhere else but Alchemy!

One of the best salon experience I’ve ever had: beautiful interior space, respectful and kind staff, a sweet, generous owner/​hair stylist… all wonderful from the beginning to the end.
I wanted to donate my long, strong, healthy hair to Lock of Love. I searched for a hair salon in the city that «fully» supports Locks of Love, and surprisingly enough, Alchemy Space was the only salon that I found that really, truly, fully supports Locks of Love.
The salon was beautifully decorated with plants, waterfalls, and wood furniture, creating tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. I waited in a area that had the nice «living room» setting with sofa with an ice cold tea that the receptionist brought with smile.
I The owner, Nercy, was really nice and sweet, and listened to what style I wanted. She also explained how the locks would be cut off (since it was my first time donating hair). So, after all was clear, she cut of 10 inches off and I was suddenly lighter and cooler! :-D
She then started to style my hair to the shape I wanted, and the result was fantastic! It was actually a bit shorter than I expected, but it looked great regardless. The before and after was drastic since I went from very long hair to really short hair, and even the customers in the salon were all amazed of the change, and all gave me compliments.
It has been 2 days since the haircut, and I have been very happy with the haircut. Thanks to Nercy, I will have a cooler Summer, and my hair can be made into a wig for a child out there who really needs it.

Nercy is the owner of the salon. Not only is she an amazing person to know, but she is also an incredible talent. She takes personal ownership and vested interest in making sure she understands what you want and makes the appropriate time to schedule what you need done.
She had professional training on color which even upped her game further. After being a client of Fekkai, people now stop me and ask me about who colors (highlights) and cuts my hair. Its healthier than I have ever had it!
I would confidently recommend this salon to anyone who wants personal attention and appreciates hard work aand attention to detail.

It is refreshing and energizing to spend time with this talented beauty specialist, whose positive energy and zest for life are contagious. Her new salon is an oasis, a calm and healing place to retreat to in the middle of or at the end of a stressful day. It’s no wonder her clients love both her hair styings and her. The salon is also convenient to the 1, 2, 3, F, V, and Broadway subway lines.

My girlfriends and I have been getting our hair styled by Nercy for years — even before she opened Alchemy — and we love her to death! As a stylist she is two parts hip, one part practical — creating sexy, modern styles that are also easy to recreate yourself. Nercy is a breath of fresh air and makes me feel like a new woman every time I walk out of her salon. She is also an amazing teacher and I always walk out of there knowing another trick or style that I can try at home.
Her prices are reasonable and her new salon is serene and beautiful. I would highly recommend Alchemy to anyone, male or female. She is a star!
