ordered for delivery during tradeshow and would recommend. i had the tuna tataki & spicy tuna crunch, all were good! prices very reasonable. tataki $ 10& rolls were $ 7ea. delivery is always an issue because of the language barrier but if you have the patience, it’s worth it.

Ewww… this is absolutely the worst sushi I’ve ever tasted. Everything about it was disgusting. Good thing each piece of sushi was very very small because I wouldn’t be able to handle the grossness in my mouth. It left me wishing I was never even hungry in the first place. I don’t even know if the fish is actually real fish… Stay away.

WOOF. I will never order from here again. The kind people who answer the phone are the only good things about this place. I ordered delivery to my office a few blocks away– had back to back meetings and couldn’t go pick it up. The order was 30 minutes later than promised, despite multiple phone calls. Again– its a crappy weather day so I can forgive them for that. The real issue here is the TERRIBLE food. Really terrible. I ordered a three-roll special and all were warm(not room temp, WARM) and the fish was weird and stringy. The yellowtail roll didnt even resemble yellowtail and I ended up throwing it away. Shrimp Shumai was soggy. Avoid Avoid Avoid. For some reason this place has 4 stars on Seamless… so confusing.

There is a reason this place averages 2 stars. Its because it deserves it. So I was in the office on late night duty, I decide to go on seamless on my phone, and order off of the first search result that is near 360 lexington. Behold, Aki– the first search result. So i put in an order for two hand rolls. For those of you who don’t know what that is, basically its the seaweed cone wrap of fish and rice. I get a salmon avocado and eel avocado. Now the prices are identical to the regular rolls and theoretically you should be getting a similar amount of fish, theoretically. Anyhow after putting in the order I go back to work, type type type. Stomach grumble grumbles, type type type, grumble grumble grumble. I look at my phone and its now 45 min since my order was accepted. I decide to call Aki as the estimate was 30 minutes, and its only 10 blocks away. The guy tells me its«on its way». Well now I wait another 20 – 30 minutes and finally I get the phone call. By now im FAMISHED. I pick up the food, and unsurprisingly, my hand rolls come with ~2.5 fish pieces and 2 avocado pieces and the equivalent of 1⁄3 of a roll of rice… Well looks like its more grumble grumble grumble. You end up paying $ 13.5 for what can only amount to 1 simple roll… Well never again my friends… never again.

Oh man if ever a place deserved 1 star. This place is near a bunch of Japanese restaurants so I thought it was japanese. its run by Chinese who are not very warm and def don’t know sushi. Sushi was flavorless which usually means its not sushi grade. Zero dinner customers all delivery service… rice was regular Chinese rice… priced for real prices.

I am here again on my travel. I was here and there used to be some problems. But this time I have seen a lot of efforts made by the owner of the restaurant. They try to change and take advice from customers. The food is fresh and sanitary and the service is also improved a lot.

Little confused by all the bad reviews. I never did order delivery but i’ve been here a few times for sushi. Place is small but comfy. I never had any problems with service. The sushi was pretty fresh and was tasty. the presentation is also pretty good. I’m a newbie at sushi but I have been to some really good places and some horrible places. For the price here, it’s excellent. Maybe they’ve gotten their act togther and it’s gotten better? Either way, I’m coming back as long as the quality is the way it’s been the few times I’ve been here.

Don’t put delivery time as 30−45mins if you’re gonna take over an hour. Sushi was okay, but definitely not worth a 90 minute wait. Only pro is that it is reasonably price(I got the 3 roll combo and it was $ 12.95 — not bad for city)

I ordered three times here and the first two times were good. Fast delivery, Sushi was good. Not amazing but nothing to complain about. BUT: I ordered Sushi on Friday and got food poisoning. I had to go the clinic where the doctor diagnosed with me FOODPOISONING. I was sick for nearly six days, I spent huge amounts of money of medication(despite insurance) and taxi to and from the clinic. No way I could have taken the subway. I was dangerously dehydrated and could barely manage to sit. I tried to contact the restaurant but nobody is picking up the phone and they don’t have an E-Mail address(or maybe I am too stupid to find one). Do not eat here. Obviously hygiene is not on the priority list!

BANNED!!! Delivery took an hour and when it arrived, I couldn’t eat it. The sashimi in the sashimi appetizer was thick, slimy and rubbery. I ordered a spicy tuna roll with crunch and there was no crunch. When I called and said that my order was wrong, I was told that they«mix the crunch in with the tuna.» Next time, if I want more crunch(as opposed to the no crunch that I received), I should request it in my order. This is what they told me. I’m still really hungry. Here’s hoping I don’t get sick from what I did eat.

Seamless has Aki sushi rated 5 stars. I’m POSITIVE it was an accident on their part. Aki sushi is terrible! The rolls tasted as if they were made with rotten fish! & their tuna was SUCHANABNORMALCOLOR. I will NEVER order from here again. No wonder it has TWO stars on Unilocal.I love Unilocal!Seamless ratings are WAY off!

Surprisingly, better than I expected. I always saw this place walking home and decided to stop in for some take out. Went on a Friday evening and it wasn’t too packed. Small but gave off the ambience of cozy vs. cramped. I ordered a spicy tuna and eel & avocado roll. It’s my usual bar to measure other sushi restaurants. Decent flavor, not a lot of rice(filler), fish pieces are a decent size, and it was made fairly quickly. Overall perception: not the best sushi I’ve ever had but also not the worst.

Just mediocre. The tempura in shrimp tempura is dry and bland; the fish in spicy tuna is weirdly textured and tasteless, and the rice is kind of dry as well. Save your money; runs about $ 5 – 6 for small rolls.

Definitely above average for the standard price, delivery sushi joint. I ordered the salmon avocado roll, alaska roll, and eel avocado roll – all were fresh with decent cuts of meat and avocado. Delivery took a little while, but they were coming from a far distance, so that wasn’t their fault. Lunch special is cheap at $ 12 and comes with miso soup and a salad.

We ordered delivery and should have consulted Unilocal first before placing our order on the Seamless app. Ordered the nebayaki udon, spicy cracker, chef special salad, and spicy salmon roll. Udon tastes okay since we were hungry but not much in flavor. Roll came in 6 pieces — probably old fish, tastes very mushy. Chef’s special salad is a joke! Size of a small fist that was basically two pieces of tuna mixed with seaweed salad and imitation crab with mayo sauce. Edible but nothing short of disappointing. Spicy cracker is basically pieces of tuna in between fried seaweed paper — tasteless. Again, as overall review — tasteless, not worth it, questionable fish and food quality. We were really hungry but couldn’t get ourselves to finish it. That’s how bad it was.

Really terrible sushi and it was kind of expensive too — $ 14 for 2 basic rolls. I have no idea why the reviews on Seamless are so great, but I would not order from this place again.
