Aeté Rooftop

I’m hesitant to leave a good review because I don’t want people discovering my new favorite rooftop bar in New York. The bartenders are SUPER nice as well, which is a plus. One of them even took the time to craft a personalized drink for me eventhough I was being extremely picky about what I wanted (thank you!!). It’s a small, simple bar but there’s something about the ambience and chill crowd that just made me fall in love with it. I’ve also not been here during the daytime, but I can say that the view is decent at night.

Amazing view of the city, great bartenders, good music, tasty cocktails, chill crowd, and comfy seats! What more can you ask for from a rooftop lounge in New York City?
I’m glad I discovered this place. Too bad they only open when the weather permits, but I look forward to going back the next time they do.

Woooo! This place is AWESOME, probably because no one knows about it! This is the rooftop of the East Houston Hotel, which looks like it has been recently renovated or opened. It’s a great little space with lawn furniture and tables. The real charm of Aeté lies within the beautiful views of Midtown. If you plan to be there, make sure you bring a light jacket or a sweater, because it can get chilly.
The drinks are not obscenely pricy, especially considering that this is a rooftop. I don’t know about cocktails, but they offer a large number of Brooklyn beers, all at $ 7. The bar staff is super friendly and helped me pick out a great beer.
The vibe here is definitely chill; music isn’t prohibitively loud, and there is no kind of formal wear required. This is a great place to unwind with a couple of drinks on any given night, and is also a nice weekend spot as well. I hate that I’m advertising it but I had a really nice time :)

Aete is a rooftop bar on top of the East Houston Hotel, so head to the 7^th floor via the elevator next to the front desk. It only opened this summer, so it was super low key when I went early on a Friday night. No draft beer, but bottles! The view is amazing and currently no one knows about this place. It’s getting chilly outside, but Aete is great to hang out at!

This is an amazing rooftop spot. The views of the city are breathtaking and the bartenders are friendly and great at making drinks. The vibe is cozy and the music selection is perfect. We went there with a group of friends and discovering Aete made the night extra special. We left after a couple hours to meet up with other friends but found ourselves back there later in the night!
Aete is a truly a hidden gem to discover!

I’m scared to give this place a great review as it’s the perfect hidden gem in the Lower East Side. However, with super attentive and friendly bartenders, great drinks and a view that you just can’t beat, how could I not let the rest of the world about this place.
Whether you’re here for a date, or here with a group of friends, this is the perfect place to hang out. It’s a cozy rooftop.
Whenever I’m in the lower east side I make it a point to come here, even if its just to stop by for one drink. People are always impressed that I found such a cool spot, so that’s always a plus.
