Their products have been helpful for me, but like everyone else says this place is pricey… Also, try the samples before you buy anything– everyone’s skin is different.

Excellent products and store. I’m surprised it only got three out of four dollar signs for priceiness, as I think it’s extremely expensive.

Pretty good place. Friendly staff. I always feel raped though when shopping here. Everything is so overpriced. The brand in general that is.

really love Aesop products (though they are super expensive for stuff you put on your face) and this is my preferred location. really easygoing staff– easy for me to pick up my regular products and head on! appreciate how generous they are with the samples, also. :)

I have a dermatologist for a reason, which is why I wouldn’t waste my time getting a consult for skincare here. Not that anyone was running to help or greet me!
Employees hardly know products. Despite well rehearsed descriptions, I learned more from reading the ingredient list.
I am happy with my body wash and lotion that smell amazing. as well as the nearly $ 100 body balm that is supposed to last «6 months» I typically go through lotion in 2 months so this will be interesting to see how long it actually lasts.

Loved my experience here, the guy that helped me was very knowledgable on their products and offered to sample me what I liked so I could try it at home first and make a conscious choice on what if like to buy when I returned. I left with a few products and samples of a few items that would compliment my regimen. I like that they encourage sampling as opposed to making you feel awkward if you just want to sample before you buy. The staff is nice and the place smells like heaven. I’m in love with my products and I’ll definitely be returning!

I haven’t actually tried any of the products, but I know they have something of a cult following and I can at least say the scents are really unique and great. Clean, citrusy, natural scents.

CAUTION.
I found the store well designed and the staff very courteous. We discussed my skin condition (an area of hyperpigmentation on my forehead) and they recommended a product. We used a tester to do an application. Several hours later the area developed a huge RASH.
At home I used a topical steroid to reduce the rash over 24 hours but now the hyperpigmentation is substantially worse than before. Seems to have set back the slow healing process by 6 to 12 months. Bad news.
I notified the local store and sent an email to headquarters on their web site. Someone at their headquarters called me a day later to inquire about the situation. He was clearly very concerned.
Looking over their web site carefully, I found a little warning to test a product in a non-​visible area prior to using it. Their staff are either not aware of this warning or not taking it seriously.
In addition to taking such precautions, the product label should highlight any ingredients that tend to generate harsh reactions. The ingredient list is in tiny type. Unacceptable.

I love this place. Their products are quite expensive, but if you can afford it, they’re really nice. This is the second location I’ve been to, and the young lady who helped me was really nice. I didn’t need much help because I knew what I was looking for, but she was friendly and she suggested another product for me to try next time.
The design of all their stores are really nice, and I like how their products are the main visuals, which totally works with the way their packaging is designed. I also like how they’ll include samples for their other products that might work for you, even if it is a way to try to get you to spend more next time, if you like the sample, then at least you know you can switch to something else.

We came on a weekend and saw a apathetic looking blond salesgirl with glasses on her head. We went in and started looking at the interesting utilitarian-​type products, and she musters a welcome. She seems like a pothead or an unfortunately plain girl with a permanently tired look.
My friend picks up one of several testers for each product in the store, and rubs some on the back of her hand to smell.
The girl comes over, takes the tester, and interrogates, «Did you use this?»
«Yeahhh???»
She takes it away, mumbles something about it not being sanitary, comes back out, and starts speaking to other customers, totally ignoring us!
It was a very bizarre experience, to say the least.
I hope she’s been fired, because she’s going to cost this store a lot of people.
