This is place is amazing ! The hookah and drinks are always consistent and very fresh. The service is very fast and I must say they are very attentive to you and it’s a perfect place to go to enjoy a conversation without having to scream at your friends. The music is always nice and the ambiance is peaceful and comfortable. I wish they had food or small appetizers but I’m sure they are working on that(:

This spot is real low key the music was great and it was very welcoming. The owner was very helpful and friendly. I had a strawberry margarita that was made to perfection. There is a nice ambiance, great for dancing or just a laid back night.

Great place for drinks and hookah. Great place to book your next party. Call them to make sure they are open.

The bartender and the DJ are incredible hosts. This is the kind of establishment that will thrive because of how much these two individuals care about details. They know what you want to drink, and they know exactly what you want to listen to. In a city where Hip Hop and R&B can be such an extremely rare commodity, this is the place where you want to go to feel like none of the two have ever left.

If you look closely enough you’ll see this tiny hookah lounge next to the train line… not to be mistaken for the larger one on the other side of the tracks(literally). This place isn’t anything fancy, but it gets the job done. It’s about the length of a corner store(including the bathroom) and seating is very limited. I’d estimate that a party of 20 would have this place to capacity. The bar is in the center of it all and the hookahs are the small(what I call starter hookah) ones… still they’re effective. I’ve been her twice and both time I enjoyed myself. For about 35 – 45 bucks you’ll get a hookah and a couple drinks(about 4) which isn’t bad. This place is more romantic and anything else, that’s if your date is into hookah, potent drinks, intimate table settings, and mellow music. If you go during the week don’t expect prompt table service, from what I gather it’s usually only one person during the week(multiple on the weekend). Cash and credit. Oh yea… I almost forgot this bulls**t. they charge you refill the coals in the tiny a** hookah. Are you kidding me!!! *Sigh* I’m back: o) Either way, you’ll have a decent time.

Adar is decent. No frills but it’s one of the few hookah bars in the area that also serve alcohol — not beer/wine, but actual liquor. I went to Adar on a Saturday night with a large group. For $ 36/person we had hookah, a couple pitchers of very strong drinks(mystery liquor, but strong nonetheless) and platters of cheese, hummus and a protein(that our server described as «either tilapia or chicken, I’m not sure»). A fair price, but a bit high considering the area and the very sketchy entrance on Park near the above-track Metro North. No frills, as I mentioned. The space is a large rectangular room, with three main seating areas. The décor is very sparse. There was a space heater in the corner that kept the lack of adequate heat moderately tolerable. There are TVs throughout, though not enough to make them watchable from the majority of the seating. The background music was obviously someone’s Spotify or iTunes, so the plus is that they do take music requests. I was pleased by the«Drunk in Love» selection. I’d go back if I’m in the mood for hookah and strong drinks. I also hear that it’s pretty reasonable to rent out the entire space.
