Love these guys. SOLID Thai just wish they delivered to my location at 129th street, taking the train to pick is the worst. So unfortunately will have to find somewhere else ;-(

My go to Thai spot in the UES! So good, great portions for great prices. I’ve never had a bad meal from them between their pad Thai, pad se ew, spring rolls and even their tofu.

I love this place. Their pad woonsen and pad khee mao are great. I’d opt for chicken as their beef is a bit tough. In the pad woonsen. I’m my exactly sure why. Probably differing cook time. The curry puffs are GOD. I sometimes order two orders of those and call it a day. Lol price is ok and delivery is timely.

I actually like this place alot. Compared to some of the sit down restaurants in a 10 block radius, this place has pretty good thai food. Their pad see ew is BOMB, albeit a little bit oily, it is one of my favorites in the whole area, and today i placed an order for their chicken breast with peanut sauce lunch special, but when i got there it was peanut curry, without knowing i took the bag home, and actually really really enjoyed what i got. Another bomb meal with a bomb sauce.

We ordered from Seamless last night and our food never arrived. After calling the restaurant a half an hour after our order was due, we were told that our order was out for delivery. We live two blocks away. 30 minutes later the order was still not here. By this point, we had waited over 2 hours for our meal. We called back and after asking for an explanation, the woman on the phone hung up on us. We called back again to try and understand why we were hung up on and where our food was, however, and they did not pick up the phone. I have never had such a poor service experience and will not be ordering from them again. Though I’m unable to give a zero star rating, I would.

Ordered delivery for the second time today(forgot we’d had this place before until it was already on its way). It’s solid, relatively speedy. But it lacks a little oomph — things that are supposed to be spicy are only mildly so, the veggies in the basil beef were strangely rubbery, and the beef itself was just ok. If I forget and order again I won’t be too upset, but will stay on the hunt for a Thai place we can make our go-to.

I am a regular of absolute Thai since I moved to New York. My friend and I have tried many dishes from the menu and never be disappointed. My fav is pad see ew, fried rice, pad Kee now, pad Thai, BBQ pork and sticky rice. Very delicious 2 thumbs up.

The Thai iced tea is mind blowingly delicious here! I often convince my coworkers to get one just so we have enough of an order to meet the delivery minimum. The portions are ample for the lunch special, and it’s a really good deal with what they throw in with the special. Love this place and very convenient to Mt. Sinai! Just know it’s delivery/takeout only, as there’s no room to sit inside.

So I’m home with the flu. Can barely taste anything. Craving something spicy! I use Grub Hub to hit up the closest Thai place. Absolute Thai pops up in the search. Boy am I glad it did! So I ordered the Tofu Pad Kee Mau Lunch special with edameme and coke all for $ 7.95! I was 50 cents short for delivery(min $ 8) So I ordered the Ice Tea which was beyond refreshing and delicious. The food came hot and quick(15 mins!) and it was sooooo flavorful. Even the veggies in the noodles had flavor! The servings were huge. The whole order including tip amounted to $ 12. Worth every cent. Will totally order again!

Ok, so we ordered from here again, first time in months, and I saw my previous 5-star review, and thought we couldn’t go wrong ordering same things. WRONG. Food came very fast this time, but the calamari was under-fried, pale, chewy, soggy and fishy tasting. The«volcanic duck» was dry, and boring. The«drunk man noodles»(always a fave of mine) tasted like it was made the day before, then reheated in a microwave for like 10 mins… Totally soggy mushy noodles that just dissolved in your mouth. Too bad they let the quality totally go down. Not going to be ordering from here again. ;-(

This place is a really good standby for pickup or delivery. The pad thai is good and the pad kee mao is great! Make sure you note your spicy preferences. They allow you to pick mild, medium, or hot and if you ask for hot, you will get it! Their lunch specials are affordable and they are always really quick. I’d definitely recommend this place for a last minute meal.

Wow this stinks –ordered food via GrubHub and 1 hour later still no food — Called restaurant phone just rings. 1 ½ later food shows up. Don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again…

I live around the corner from this Thai gem. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are great, and perhaps most importantly — the staff is wonderful. The menu offers a nice variety of dishes, from the common to more off-the-beaten-path offerings. My girlfriend and I love the pad kee mao, a spicy dish featuring wide noodles and an array of herbs(we order it extra spicy). The pad woon sen is also top-notch, with cellophane noodles in a deeply rich sesame sauce. All of the curries are great, too. Oh and make sure to ask for prik num pla(fish sauce, chili peppers, and some other ingredients) on the side for some extra funk!

We order from here all the time. It’s great. Reasonably prices, good food, nice service. I have never really been that into Thai food but this place is great. I strongly suggest you try this place out, even over other Thai places in the area –which I don’t think there’s too Many

I ordered food from this place because my neighbor told me this place has great food. I ordered a few items and after I tasted everything… I wasn’t fully pleased. Curry puffs: Thumbs up! Very delicious Crispy Fried Calmari: Two thumbs down! $ 7 for a small handful of calamari that didn’t taste good at all. Drunk Man Noodle: Thumbs down! I like spicy BUT not where my tongue wants to fall out of my mouth! If you like spicy… this is the dish for you. This dish was left alone after we tried it… it went to waste, we could not eat this… TOOSPICY!!! Basil Fried rice: Thumbs up! It was very good and the spices of this dish was not overwhelming.(Spiciness was MILD) Overall…This place is a hit or miss. They also forgot my can of Ginger ale… I called the restaurant and the woman who answered the phone was polite… she said they will put it on their system and will give it to me if I ordered again. Anyway…My first experience with this place isn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. Would I recommend this place? Yes but be careful in choosing what you want and make sure you tell them your preference of how spicy you want your dish. Make sure they don’t forget your soda either! Lol

I love absolute thai! The food is consistently good and delivery is fast(20 minutes after the order was placed on grub hub). It’s a little hole in the wall so heading there for a meal is probably not a good idea(they only have two seats). I love their pad thai and my mom says their spring rolls are amazing. I am happy to be considered a regular here, and inflict their food on all of my friends when they visit.

Yummy in my tummy! This place has very well made Thai food at a great price(most of the standard curries, noodles, and rice dishes are $ 8.95). It’s our go-to for girl’s night in and we’ve consistently gotten hot, fresh food delivered quickly. I particularly like their drunkman noodles and veggie spring rolls. What’s more, I also always have enough for 2 meals — I call that a delivery win! It’s a good thing Absolute Thai is nowhere near me because I’d probably order in every night.

Lunch specials are filling and tasty. The shrimp fritters(they spell it flitters!) were deep fried and juicy with a side of a sweet duck sauce and the small salad came with a piece of tofu, one lonely grape tomato, cucumbers, iceberg and some other lettuces. The pad kee mao with pork had really nice thick pieces of pork(a bit different from other places), egg, and actually a lot of vegetables which were mostly onion, peppers, string beans, carrots, and bamboo shoots. It was actually more veggies than noodles! Pretty spicy as well because they actually put in those little thai chilies, unlike plenty of places in Manhattan. It’s good but nothing to write home about. All in all, a decent lunch special, especially for the area but not the best thai I’ve had. Tiny counter to eat at with two stools and quite a decent wait if you order there since they seem to do a bustling delivery business.

I tried the Pad See Ew and Pad Kee Mao from here. Both were made fresh, tasted absolutely delicious and were filled with so much flavor. One thing that I noticed was that the Pad Kee Mao was not very spicy, but it was okay. They probably tone down the spiciness for their customers. The entrees came in generous portion sizes too. Also, because it’s located in Spanish Harlem, their prices are also a little cheaper than Thai places a neighborhood south.
