I came by last week and I’m sorry but the pizza sucks. I mean I just wanted to grab a quick slice for lunch, so I wasn’t looking for anything special, but still. Not worth it. It’s bland and stale. The crust is flavorless, and the pizza is overpriced for what it is. The place itself smells greasy, like a school cafeteria. The people begin the counter didn’t even make an attempt to seem friendly. Honestly I don’t see how they’re still in business.

From the sidewalk looking in, the pizza looked good. Big selection of slices. We had a margherita slice, pepperoni/sausage slice, caesar’s salad, doughnut, water & tea — for $ 28. Seemed overpriced for mediocre pizza — not very flavorful. Pizza looked a whole lot better than it tasted. We will not be back.

This place is pretty bad, the worst! The quality of the food is subpar, the pizza looks like it’s been out there all day, and tastes even worse. Tried salad, and it’s the same salad they use for the slices, cold, and dry, tasted like cardboard. The best thing about the salad was the bread I got with it, not to mention the marinara sauce tastes like it came straight out of a can. I would not recommend. The one croûton in my salad was stale, that was the point of no return for me.

WAAAYYYY overpriced. And the pizza is subpar. I’d rather get frozen pizza from the supermarket. Would be better. And when I balked at the total the cashier, maybe a manager, said«its good pizza. And I’ll take care of you next time. » He flat out lied. It was bad so there won’t be a «next time.» No I will not be going back.

Nasty and way overpriced pizza. I needed something to hold me over while I take the bus back home. The only saving grace is they open«late» with plenty of empty seats and serves quick since other pizza places either closed or have no standing room. The chicken shawarma looks good though and seems to be reasonable priced, so maybe just go in for that. Unfortunately I won’t be returning. NY has way too many pizza joints to throw money away in this one.

I went to this place on the way to the theater. I should have checked the reviews prior to entering this place. For one, the pizza tasted nasty like they pulled the pie out of the oven to early. The staff appeared overwhelmed when asked questions about their slice options. I asked for a bottled of soda and they informed me they only had fountain drinks. I tasted the drink and to be honest the drink tasted like the fountain lines wasn’t clean or their mix is old. Last but not least the slice was extremely expensive. There are plenty of less expensive and better tasting pizza establishments in that area.

I couldn’t decide what to eat on a recent trip so NYC. I was walking around Hell’s Kitchen area and stumbled upon this. I was glad I came here. The slice of pizza was large and tasty. The salad I got was crunchy, fresh, and the ceasar dressing was delicious. They lost a star because the pizza was cold, even though it was just heated in the brick oven.

Do you enjoy rubbery, flavorless, expensive pizza for absolutely no reason whatsoever? Then come on down! Our doors are open late and our seats are always empty, because $ 4 for a plain would turn anyone away if only they listed prices somewhere. . Seriously though, one of the worst slices of pizza ever. Can’t speak for anything else on the menu, but I don’t exactly plan on ever going back.

This was good NY pizza. I liked the crispy crust. I shared a slice and a Greek salad with my sister and we were full. The Greek salad was good too. I tasted a garlic knot and it was also good. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because we got drinks from the front drink cooler and they weren’t so cold probably from it being an open cooler in a place with a hit pizza oven going. So my suggestion is to get a drink from the back drink coolers that have doors. But I’d go back to try the breakfast sandwiched or Stromboli it all looked good!

I stopped here for a slice of pizza after a long day of travel. They had a large number of choices but I decided in the pepperoni and ricotta. The man taking orders was super friendly but had a strong accent and was hard to understand. The pizza itself was only satisfactory. The crust didn’t have any flavor and the pepperoni was a bit on the dry side. I did enjoy the greasiness of the pizza. Overall there are better choices with better prices.

Great pizza in the heart of midtown. Employees were friendly and didn’t charge me for a side of ranch like other places have.

Edible, and better than Dominos. Service was good, but the pizza was forgettable.

Best pizza we had on our vacation to NYC. We ordered the cheese and it was made fresh right in front of us. Couldn’t ask for anything better :) I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying close by.

My very first slice of New York pizza and right off the bat I can tell the difference between the pizza there and the pizza I eat here in Los Angeles is the cheese. Slight different taste between the cheeses. For the pizza as a whole, it was OK. Not the best as I’ve had tons of pizza that can top this. However, it is pizza and for the most part it does its part in delivering a decent slice that gets any pizza craving out of the way. I had eaten dinner right before ordering this pizza but there was no way I was leaving New York without grabbing a slice. After Dinner 6÷12÷2015

Pizza is 6 dollars a slice. And it is mediocre pizza. Barely any sauce. No flavor at all. Stale to the point of being stiff. But doughy. skimpy on the cheese and toppings. I ate it anyways since I was hungry. But I won’t go here again even if I was starving.

Worst pizza in nyc… raw, no sauce… Just plain gross, overpriced. The only thing I admire, is the heat on this cold, freezing January evening.

They give you slices that are the size of two. I tried their pepperoni, white pizza, and spinach pie. The pepperoni was not special at all. But the white pizza was the best. It was creamy and salty and had a very thin crust. It was heated up so well that it made a crunching noise with each glorious bite. It also burned my mouth a bit but I’ll live. The spinach pie was thicker so it came out of the oven closer to luke warm. But it was still delicious and gooey/creamy. $ 10.99 for two slices. I think the white pizza slices are $ 5. Off to the side of the register are shakers with garlic powder and chili flakes, etc. Use them for added flavor.

I was rushing to the theatre district to catch a show. I got out of work late, so I didn’t have a chance to grab a bite to eat. I hate being hungry during a show so I stopped by the first pizza by the slice place that I saw. The mistake I made was not pulling out my phone and Unilocaling this place, instead I was in such a hurry that I decided to enter solely based on the pizzas I saw on display. To say that the spinach pizza I had was mediocre would be far too generous. It was a large slice, slightly more than room temperature after being placed in the oven, and the flavor was lacking. Not to mention that one slice and a bottle of water cost me almost $ 10. Not cool. In summary: 1. Expensive 2. Room temp pizza(is the oven even on??) 3. Not particularly tasty 4. Tourist trap(a shame because visitors should experience good NY pizza)

Walking around today, the display caught my eye. I didn’t read reviews beforehand so I went in and tried it. I grabbed my pizza to go. One slice of cheese and one vegetable pizza. Tasted good to me. The crust was perfect and the sauce was good. The cheese could have been better tasting. I was happy with my pizza. Maybe something changed. I can’t complain.
