7 Eleven

Growing up we always went to 7 Eleven as a gang of kids. We would get candy, sandwiches and lots of staples to pack around for our day of adventures. This place reminds me those times. It has not changed. You can get a wide variety if junk food and even mood rings!
For a limited time they have their small coffee for 50 cents! I’ll be there every day! The place is clean. The counter help is friendly.

Clean and patient staff. No diet dr. P on tap which makes me sad but they always have something in the front to taste which is a nice little treat

7 Eleven that existed in my old neighborhood before I enlisted into the army. I’m staying at my friend’s house nearby and last night had a sudden crave for a late night snack. I grab some pizza and a couple of drinks. The cashier guy wanted me to show him my ID since I was purchasing Hard Cider (Angry Orchard). I show him my Military ID and tell him that the birthdate is listed on the back. He totally ignores and keeps staring at my ID for a good 30 seconds. I get impatient and tell him ‘it’s on the back’ like three times before he flips it over and asks me ‘is this ID from here?’ –_​– LMAO dude this is a government issued ID and did you really think all Asians are Chinese takeout delivery guys? Seriously

Great place, open 24 hrs a day, very friendly people!

After hitting the gym yesterday I had a craving for something cold. Time for a Slurpee!
With the weather finally sunny and close to 80 degrees it’s always time for a Coke or Grape Slurpee!
It’s a pretty new 7-​Eleven that just opened up recently a few blocks away from our apartment.
As with many of the these spots they are loaded with all kinds of snacks, pastries, refrigerated drinks, sandwiches, big bite hot dogs, and other gut busting goodies to grab on the run. They also have pizza and chicken wings now if you dare to challenge your stomach here. No way — I’ll stick with my Slurpee.
The store itself is bright, clean, and well organized. Being that it’s only a few months old it should be. Even though there are many bodegas that dot the area, there is something different about 7-​Eleven. Nothing like grabbing a good tasting hot cup of coffee in the morning and using one of the flavored creamers they offer. Or better yet, getting an iced cold Grape or Coca Cola Slurpee!

This 7 Eleven, while small is BRAND NEW and super clean. The staff is usually pretty friendly.
I plan to fully enjoy the newness of this place for as long as it lasts!
