45 Nails

Great service, always friendly and great hours. The women who work there are always nice and welcoming and willing to go the extra mile. They have stayed open late for me, even when I was clearly the last in the place and if I try to leave without drying so they can go home, they refuse to let me. It is not fancy but always clean. Totally recommend it!

This place was painfully average. The manicures are cheap (around $ 7) and they are fast, but they don’t care about the details. I was in and out of there in around 20 minutes. The short free massage is a great touch, and I didn’t feel pressured or rushed.
However, the person who did my nails completely screwed up my cuticles, to the point where some fingers started bleeding when I left. While the color stayed on pretty well for a couple of days, my cuticles were a mess. I still have skin peeling from where she painfully clipped my cuticles. It looks pretty nasty, and also kind like I did my nails myself rather than have them done professionally.
I might return because of the speed seeing as I can only get them done during my lunch break, but I will definitely ask for someone else.

I’m visiting town, and I walked past this establishment on my way to dinner. I didn’t expect them to be open, but they were. I went in for Shellac and was pleasantly pleased! Back home, the place i go to does gel polish for $ 27 (including tax) and a manicure is extra. This place does a full shellac manicure for $ 32 (that includes tax), and even throws in a free massage! I’ve never had that happen at any salon I’ve been in in Cleveland and I’ve been to quite a few. They are also pretty neat with their work.
I would highly recommend and I definitely plan on going back the next time I am in town.

Really clean nice no frills salon. The manicurist really took the time to make sure the manicure was done perfectly. Also I got a 20 minute massage while I dried my nails. Love multitasking. The massage was great and they even use oils (wear a tank top) and don’t massage over the clothes.

I’d rather give this place 1 ½ stars because it wasn’t absolutely awful but there were enough dings to bring down their score.
I was the only customer in that night and of course, got speedy service. My manicurist was very polite and got to work immediately once I picked my color. I got a great hand massage and the color came out beautifully.

The issues were with the filing and shaping. The manicurist gave me flat topped nails since mine were so short. She didn’t ask what shape I wanted.
Also a negative was the fact that I asked not to have my cuticles cut and at one point, she quickly nipped mine and when I reprimanded her she responded «quick cut», as if that could eliminate any possible infection.
The manicure board listed $ 10 but she charged me extra for a quick dry service, without telling me first why my bill was $ 1.50 higher.
When my nails dried and I noticed the color did not cover the top of one of my nails and that the nails were all different shapes, she was none too pleased. I asked her to reshape them and she said she thought they looked even. I repeated my request and she sullenly did a short shrift with the nail file and when I reviewed her work, had to ask her again to even them out.
I won’t return to this shop.

I will never, ever go back. So rude! I was rushed and they smudged my finger and refused to fix it. My nails are all different shapes. While I was drying (for less than 1 minute) the woman ut her coat on and stared at me until I got up. She then opened the door for me to leave… but I didnt even have my stuff. Horrible service.

I don’t normally go to salons, so I may not be best judge, but here goes: Had a pedi and silk wrap mani. Pedi was excellent ($ 20). Silk wrap was $ 60 but also well done. Techs were friendly and made sure i was happy with what they were doing. They were very thorough, and warned me that I’d need a lot of time to do a silk wrap. Was there for 1 hour 40 mins. Would definitely go back for the $ 25 mani/​pedi special.

This happens to be in the neighboorhood which is why I stopped in. The manicure pedicure runs at about $ 31.50 (with tax), plus about a $ 7 tip. They are very fast and have a large selection of Essie colors. If you go at say, 4pm on a Friday, you will not have to wait, but I have seen them very busy around 5pm/​6pm.
Reasons why this place got a 3 star and not a 4 or 5 star:
1) no neck massage while waiting for nails to try under UV dryers. J&J Nail, where I usually go near work, has this nice touch and charges the same price
2) no frequent buyer stamp card, as most waxing places and nail places have.
3) I did not notice that there was one of those «Monday — Wednesday 12−2pm specials» where you can get a mani pedi for like $ 20. Another perk from J&J. (and various other places)
Aside from this, the ladies are friendly and efficient, and I will probably go back it is nearby.
