212SUITES

212Suites is a SCAM… We paid the asked for deposit and when we arrived in New York we found out that we didn’t have a place to stay. Because it was night when we arrived, we had to scramble around and find a place for the 8 nights. What a nightmare!

AWFUL experience and service! AWFUL, AWFUL!!!
The apt we rented were DIRTY. Towels were stained with what looked like SKID MARKS (poop stains). The unit reeked of cigarette smell even though the contract said that the unit was a smoke-​free unit.
I called the manager to express our concerns and I was NOT given a chance to explain to her what our concerns were. She kept YELLING (I really meant yelling) at me and telling me that the apt had been cleaned and she wasn’t going to do anything more and HUNG UP the phone on me! (I didn’t have a chance to tell her about the skid marks because she didn’t give me a chance to talk. She just yelled and yelled, then hung up the phone).
I tried to explain to her that we were willing to pay extra to move to a different unit but, as you guessed, she yelled at me & told me nothing else was available and hung up the phone at me.
When I told her the unit reeked of cigarette, she said she was not responsible for tenants not following the no-​smoking rule.
She hung up the phone on me twice. After that, she refused to answer my calls anymore. She let my call go to her voicemail, which was full.
It was a horrible experience for us. Good luck if you still want to go with this company. I hope you don’t have a bad holiday experience as we did.

Do not trust
. We reserved and paid deposit five months in advance for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath property in NYC. After confirmation, we spoke to the company at least four times, including 2 days before arrival. Upon arrival, we were told by the local agent «that property is not available. We told 212suites it wasn’t available». After much shuffling around, we were put into a different property. Apparently 212 is located in Europe and contracts with agents around the world. We would never book with them again. There were so many opportunities for them to ask us to choose another property. It was a messy situation.
