Yep, biryani was on my must eat list today, so off we went to Paradise biryani Pointe closer to my place than the previously visited one at Lowell. First thing, location is apt with plenty of parking. But, the sign board wasn’t up yet. Thank God for the Hibachi one next door, we could figure this should be the Biryani Pointe. Well, so what, I heard it’s all getting ready to be installed next week. Second, the ambience. Obviously the one to see when you enter a place. Beautiful & Tidy ! Nothing more to say. Third, service. Pretty good I would say. I’ve seen worse. The gentleman who served us, carried a smile everytime he came near us or when we looked past him. The place wasn’t crowded yet for a Saturday lunch, but then probably helped us in terms of service I hope. Fourth, the food. We ordered Biryani(obviously !!), lollipop, chicken 65, and Butter Naan. Loved loved and loved the Chicken 65. We were asked wether the spice level needed to be medium spicy or spicy. With a 2 year old in the table, we opted medium. But, guess it was a lil spicy, but we loved it and so did my kids. The lollipop was very dry and yes, I have had better ones elsewhere and even at my kitchen. The Naan was super soft and my kids simply finished it! The biryani wasn’t spicy at all. The first taste of it, and we felt it was bland. Probably the 65 overpowered the taste. We did feel the masala in the lamb little later. Yes, the masala was medium spicy and the rice definitely bland. Maybe we should’ve asked for spicy biryani we thought. Nevertheless, after a few Spoons of rice in, we realized the 65 complimented the biryani so well that we didn’t feel any blandness anymore and it suddenly appeared finger licking good !!! Now to the best part — The Quantity !! Total worth the green bucks you pay. A decent amount of $ 50 for two plus 2 kids who were weirdly licking the chicken 65 was worth the drive. Except for the lollipop I was totally happy with everything !! I would soooo go back to try other things on the menu!

One of the best Indian Food I have ever had in Massachusetts, U.S.A. Their Egg and Hyderabadi biryani is totally worth for money. I will strongly recommend this place for Biryani lovers. Ambiance is pretty good but their service is pretty fast than the other restaurants.

Authentic Indian food full of flavors. I have been to several Indian food placs in and around Boston and this one is on top of my list because of the ultimate biryani they serve. Very nice and friendly staff who welcome you warmly and they make sure that you do now wait forbtour for long. I will recomment this ppace for a perfect family donner or lunch. Enjoy.

Good food. Average service. I prefer the curries and starters. The biryani was nothing exceptional. The regular items are great though.

The waiter tells be they’re running a promo, but the manager tells us that they don’t have it, and he was an arrogant douche bag. Why does his staff doesn’t have the same gyan as himself? I have been there 3 times, and let me tell you, I had a different kind of bad experience starting with the Service quality to the Quality of food. If you want to eat spend lavishly on pricey food that doesn’t taste any good, and you are looking for an Indian place at Norwood, this is what you are looking for, please pay them a visit and enjoy their rude attitude. My first visit, they forgot my order. They didn’t let me go until I got a ridiculous uncooked combination of Paneer Biryani. Paneer Biryani according to them is Butter Paneer added to Veg Biryani and not mixed properly. My second visit, I order Pepper Chicken Dry, and this wasn’t either hot or spicy. It had a lot of pepper at the bottom. The chicken wasn’t properly diced/shredded to absorb the spice. Also, I concluded that this item should not be in the entrée list, it is an Appetizer. My third visit today, I expect an Appetizer to be Dry. I didn’t get what I was expecting. I ordered Chicken Ginger curry which felt like something just taken out of the microwave after reheating for 2 – 3 minutes. We order for Chicken Biryani which had two pieces, one of which didn’t cook well and the biryani tasted disgusting. Yet, I ended up spending $ 47. This was the last straw. I am never going back there. Although not this ambient, Minerva Indian Cuisine has decent food and is rightly priced. Although not the best, it is better than the so called«Paradise» dupe. Another point, these guys are not related to the famous Paradise Brand and are just a copy cat. They have a tagline«Best Biryani in the USA», which is actually«Biryani Pointe», a different chain altogether. Bad Service, Bad Attitude, Bad taste/food, High Prices. If you still want to give it a try, I’m not stopping you.

The place is new and has good interiors. Food is really good. We have been here twice and love it. They are short staffed. Maybe they are new and keeping the operating costs down. So you have to call the two folks serving to get anything done. But they are very courteous. 5 star given to encourage them. Hope service will improve. Also the poor owner runs around stressed. Be relaxed and you will actually work better.

Food 4⁄5 Food is totally awesome! Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian guests enjoyed all the options. Service 2⁄5 When we visited on a weekday night. The service was good. However, weekend nights pack up this place and service takes a big hit(waiting for order, waiting for forks and plates once food arrives, waiting for water). Staff do work hard but they probably need more help. I hope the owners realize this and are better able to serve customers the great food they make.

Awful service. They literally spilled an entire cup of green chutney on my mother’s hair and clothes. No apology, no complimentary dessert, no discount on the bill, and when we left they were smirking at her. We had to ASK the guy to go get napkins. They’re lucky that my parents are easy going, and even left them an 18% tip. Lord knows they don’t deserve a cent of that. What a trash establishment. Save yourself the headache.

Dined second time and ended up with acidity and bloating. Not sure what they add to food. The special briyani tasted very stale, check the smell before you eat. Have had better experience in Indian cusine here! No more visits.

Average briyani pointe taste, not a bad food joint. But there’s lack of ethics, the single star is for that. They charged a whopping $ 10 for a single aloo paratha, which was totally tasteless and aloo-less(yes there was nearly nothing stuffed in)! I would have felt better if the owner took it off from the cheque after we talked to him about it. Didn’t happen!

Food: 4.0÷5.0 Service: 2.5÷5.0 Value: 3.0÷5.0 Décor: 3.5÷5.0 Overall: 3.5÷5.0 Paradise is a chain currently with three locations roughly equidistant from Boston. Above average Indian food(especially for the area) with a very strong biryani/rice offering. Brownie points for serving spicy food that’s actually spicy(now there’s a thought). The location seems new and may still be seeing some teething issues around service and availability but the food quality is at least on par with the better spots in Boston. Pricing is on the high side but ultimately worth it.

Amazing place to eat Indian cuisine. Nice décor and the people are really friendly. Definitely try the biryanis and chicken garlic. Chicken is so tender that fork slides down smoothly. The food is fresh and the spices are just right. Definitely a place to go to.

3.5 star! 4 star for food, 4 star for ambience, 3 star for customer service(improving). After having paid my first visit few weeks back and having not so good experience with the service, we went back again. Not to mention it was a chilly night in boston and my taste buds were craving for a biryani. The service definitely seems to be improving. The owner seems to have taken the feedback about the customer service. I could see they have added more wait staff. The staff was very attentive, checking in with customers all the time. This time we had paradise special chicken biryani and goat sukha. Both were excellent in fact paradise special chicken biryani is a must try. I noticed they opened up the party hall too. Its a section adjacent to the restaurant not interfering with restaurant crowd which is a good sign. Its definitely good for parties. I know from a friend that they held a meet and greet at the party hall when Jayaprakash Narayan was in Boston. I wish they open up the bar area soon. But on a whole i could definitely see an improvement from my previous visit and even the crowd has improved.

I have visited several Indian restaurants and also many chains of Paradise Biryani Points. This is a new one opened recently in Norwood and I have been already there a couple of times! The ambience of this place is not seen any where — huge open place to dine, I once went even on a full snow day and it was superb watching snow while having the delicious food. The party hall is spacious enough to conduct birthday parties, music events comfortably. Bath room is clean. Interior design with the lightnings, wall colors are pleasant. I loved the neat beautiful Taj Mahal design on the wall. Huge TV to watch as well. Service — whenever I went there service was quick and I got my dish within 10 minutes. Food — I have tried veg, chicken and goat dishes including Goat Biryani, Chicken Manchuria, Veg Biryani, Chicken 65 and Vegetarian biryani. It was cooked fresh, was very tasty and my son also liked it a lot. This kind of restaurant was long due in this area. I have already recommended to many of my friends. Without a doubt 5 stars.

Too be honest i consider myself a Indian cuisine EXPERT, in college I learned from the best, my friends Jamal, Sarah and Poon all being(obviously) of Indian descent. When I walked in to Paradise Biryani Pointe I was disappointed that the odor of curry and spice did not fiercely attack and slaughter my nostrils, instead it was more dull like getting a nice whiff of feet or a flaculent. Too me the smell of an Indian restaurant is almost as important as the food. After being disappointed by the odor of the place we were seated by a very nice man with strong arms. The water we got was extremely delicious(I could drink it all day) to contrast the flavor of the water we also ordered a mango lassi, the cheese like flavor of this yogurt drink went PERFECTLY with my water. For our order I was dissapointed once again they did not have fish head or pig feet curry got some plain rice and some goat curry instead. When the curry arrived I dug in with my hands, however I did not notice I my hands were unwashed, I quickly ran to the bathroom to cleanse the filth from my hands. After washing my hands and smelling the strong mixture of curry and waste I was ready to finish my goat curry. The curry was not bad however it was too weak, I prefer my curry to strike me in the face like a boxer or kangaroo instead it was a mild flavor. Overall this place was okay and i will probably be back to try some of that fish curry mmmmmmmmm
