I wish I could give negative stars because honestly I think they owe me money… I came here with friends, there was four of us total, and there is NO chance we will be back. We ordered the calamari and the very small portion that we got was so unbelievably salty and chewy. Since we were all still so very hungry, after we finished the two bites of calamari we order the spinach and artichoke dip. It came with four pieces of pita and a huge bowl of the dip. When we asked for extra pita, we were told we get one refill but then we will have to be charged for more. We all wanted more than just one piece of pita so we got the ONE free refill. Our entrees were mediocre. I got the wild mushroom risotto which was again, so incredibly salty. My friend got the shepard’s pie which she had two bites of and left because the whole thing was dry and tasteless. The other two got the lobster mac and cheese which was like velveeta cheese. They too barely finished their meals. We tried for one last redemption and got dessert. We ordered the mini chocolate chip donuts. They came with 3 but there was four of us so we got charged an extra $ 2 for one pathetic little donut. There was supposed to be a coffee glaze and whipped cream with them. I’m not sure where the coffee glaze or whipped cream was but the donuts were very unappetizing and seemed raw in the middle… not sure how they were supposed to taste but it was nothing like what we were expecting from the description. All together we paid $ 200 for the four of us. SO disappointed. We won’t ever be back, it was such a waste of money on such awful food.

Pretty mediocre food and bad service for the price. It took a while to get a drink and order. I got the steak frites medium, they came out well done after 30 – 45 mins. The bartender was nice enough to offer me a drink on the house but I had to run. I had the house salad too. Food was ok but over priced.

Nothing spectacular for the high costs. Drinks were okay. Clam chowder soup was disgustingly cold with weird chunks of meats. Crab cakes were very good. For the overall high price, steer clear of this one.

There is NO continuity with the food. After feeling ill after eating the shrimp scampi with noodles(which was taken off the menu that night), I have relugated myself to a burger with some extras. I always order said burger medium. I rarely receive it that way. It has come to the table RAW and beyond well done. In fact, just last night I ordered a burger, which came out«dead», as my friends would call overly well done. I complained. So, after waiting nearly 30 minutes, I did get another one. It was even more over-cooked, but at least the mushrooms were on it this time! The bartender told me the cooks don’t usually look at the tickets. No wonder their food is so unpredictable! Save your money and buy a burger at a fast food joint. It will be less expensive and taste much better. Plus, you won’t have to guess how they’ve cooked it! The only upside to this place is the staff. They are always very nice. I will never again waste my time and money at this restaurant. I stay frequently at the Hampton Inn, too, so it’s a shame.

If you’re staying at the hotel, you can’t beat the location. The food was a bit pricey for the quality, but all of our grub was tasty. The staff is prompt and friendly and made our evening very enjoyable

I love this place! The food is so good and the staff are friendly and knowledgable. The last time I went, I got the steak tips with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak tips were cooked perfectly and the side dishes were delicious. I don’t understand how another reviewer said the potatoes were instant. They definitely were fresh and so yummy! I love their fall drinks especially the pumpkin martini! I definitely will continue to come here. Amazing job Kennedys!

What happened to this place? I have eaten here many times(always order the Beef Wellington, medium) and the food quality has dropped tremendously. The mashed potatoes were gummy and flavorless. I couldn’t even eat them. So I just paid $ 30 for lunch between my entrée and a soda. Only ate half my meal. This is my last visit here.

We are staying at the hotel for a wedding, and came back to Kennedy’s Public House for after dinner drinks and some late night snacks. The bartenders were super friendly and happy to accommodate a large crowd. Nice beer selection and stellar drink menu. We even grabbed a few snacks before the kitchen closed.(I highly recommend the frito misto and short rib quesadillas)

I went out to dinner last week with my Boyfriend to Kennedys and had a 5 star experience! From the time we were seated to the time we left we were treated very well, even though it was very busy our server, Shannon took time to go over the menu with us and make suggestions. I had the Singapore Noodles and my boyfriend had the Kennedys Meatloaf. Both were very tasty. The General Manager, Zach, stopped by to check on us to see how our dinner experience was going, and I thought to myself Wow! When was the last time a General Manager to the time on a busy night to go around to each table to check on each guest! If your in the area you should definitely check out this hidden gem!

Meh, went here for dinner and just thought it was ok. Anyplace that charges top dollar for instant mashed potatoes doesn’t deserve five stars. The place is nice but not cozy. The seating is very close together. The dining area is small. The prices are way over the top for what they offer. The sangria is good, but overpriced and the straw doesn’t reach the bottom of the long skinny cup. The service was good, staff was friendly and attentive. If they dropped the prices I’d go back. I got the scallops, which were good but the risotto was not good at all. This was my first and last time here.

Lack luster. Lobster linguini had multiple pieces of lobster shell in the meal. Salad was straight out of the bag. Service was good. Would not come back.

This place is a hidden gem! Seriously amazing food and cocktails. I usually get the Lobster Seafood Linguini, which is delicious every time. I had the Steak Tips once and they were incredible. The Nachos and Fish Tacos are great too. We’ve been here for brunch, lunch, dinner and late-night cocktails and all experiences were great. Stop wasting your time and your taste buds at places like The Château and Jake & Joes. Go here instead!

Do NOT go here for the beer! Dear manager, half your profits are going down the drain, literally. We went here because of all the high reviews. The beers we ordered were warm. I watched the bartender poor half of every beer down the drain because it came out of the taps so foamy. The food was good when it came, a little slow to come out though given it was a Monday night and the place was practically empty. I don’t think we will be back.

Read about this place on Unilocal and had to check it out. There aren’t too many good Irish bars in the area, most of them are loud or divey, but this one was high class and great. Most of the seating is a nice red leather and all the staff are really nice and accommodating. They have a wide selection of craft drafts and delicious food. It’s alittle pricey and is tucked into the Hampton inn, but worth the try if you’re looking for someplace new.

So there are rumblings that the restaurant recently changed over executive chefs and I believe owners. I am knocking down to three stars because my recent visit was only OK. They have slimmed down the menu drastically and have taken away some of the good items. My ‘ribeye’ was overcooked and chewy. My asparagus was overcooked and soggy. My wife’s food was mediocre. The best thing on the table was honestly my daughter’s hot dog! For a $ 100 bill, I honestly was not satisfied. I get better quality at Lewis’! The waitstaff is great… The beer selection is decent… Maybe I came on a bad night for the new chef. I hope so! I will go back and hopefully my review will change a bit. It is sad because Kennedy’s was a hidden gem in Norwood for a while! Hope it will stay that way!

A very pleasant surprise! I have driven by this restaurant 1,000 times and never considered eating there. I’m not normally a fan of restaurants bumped out of a corner of a mediocre hotel but this was a hidden gem and I’ll definitely go back. The dining room is plush with comfy & roomy high-top booths and tables. Granite slab table-tops, hardwoods, nice lighting and tasteful decorations make for great ambiance. Unfortunately, the door to the hotel was jacked open all night, presumably to entice hotel guests in, but this took away from the environment of the dining room. The restaurant is next to the pool and seeing kids walk by in bathing suits and towels, and random people peering in all night was off-putting. The«Frito Misto» appetizer was stellar with perfectly cooked scallops, shrimp and calamari served with grilled french bread oozing with flavor: buttery, garlicky goodness. Entrees were very good too with lamb chops cooked perfect medium-rare as ordered and surf & turf special consisting of two jumbo steak tips(great flavor but not the best piece of meat) and lobster.(Half tail and jumbo claw: cooked perfectly but served without drawn butter?) The onion rings side order were some of the best onion rings I have ever had. My previous favorites were Arnold’s Seafood on Cape Cod but these were thin, crunchy, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Service was great too. Our server was extremely professional(tough to find these days really) with an eagerness to please. Minor bonus points for the stellar glassware. Hate getting cocktails in low quality glasses but Kennedy’s uses fantastic glasses that remind of something that would be in an executive boardroom. Overall a very good meal and looking forward to visiting again.

I attended a business function yesterday(12÷16÷14) that was held in Kennedy’s private room, and lunch was served buffet-style. I go to a LOT of business networking lunches, and the food is usually just adequate. But Kennedy’s laid out an entire holiday meal for us! Roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, stuffing, salad, rolls, dessert — the works. And it was utterly delicious. Though it pains me to say this, it was better than the meal I prepared at home on Thanksgiving. I have only been to Kennedy’s a couple of times for these business networking lunches, but the food each time has been outstanding. I will take my family there for dinner very soon. BTW, the service was great, too. You usually only get water to drink at these events, but Kennedy’s waiter went around the room and took everyone’s drink order, and came back to do refills. He was also very quick to clear plates.

This place surprised me. My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Inn that is connected to this restaurant so they conveniently provide room service. Upon just flying in and not wanting to go out, I was relieved to find out this was a restaurant on its own. The service was good– friendly staff and we got our food very quickly. We ordered a ton of stuff including calamari, wings, a burger and Caesar salad. Everything was fresh and well packed for room service. I was so bummed to find out they had lobster Mac and cheese AFTER I ate! But there’s always next time. The entrance from the hotel to the restaurant is open on the way to the pool– looked super lively in there.

Totally impressed! Really great food, friendly and attentive service and comfy surroundings — in Norwood! I had been to this location about 100 years ago(it was a sushi place.) and would never have recognized the interior. Big, comfortable booths and sleek interior. Our group was waited on quickly and food was served just as fast. The heirloom salad I had was delicious and loaded with lots of tasty tomatoes, mozzarella, arugula, and had a very tasty dressing. The(small) bison bolognese was plenty for dinner and very tasty! The fish and chips my friend ordered was a huge portion of fresh, flaky completely un-fishy smelling fish. The lobster pot pie another friend ordered was drool worthy and made me slightly envious… He said it was as good as it looked. I don’t exactly live around the corner but I would absolutely make a return for dinner and drinks — nice addition to Norwood!
