Lets start off at the beginning… One of the best days of my life was buying my boat. Not just any boat but a Sea Doo Jet Boat. What they dont tell you when you buy the boat is that only one person in every 100 mile radius will touch these engines because there a pain, then depending on how old it is, is the determining factor wether or not they will even attempt to fix it. I didn’t know all that, so when my boat started acting up right after i bought it i called several boat repair shops before i got to Joe at rippin. I explained to him my problem, and he actually listened. He stayed on the phone with me for about 15 minutes explaining 101 on jet boating and what i should be doing and told me to bring it by the following day. The following day i brought my boat to him and he actually started diagnosing the problem right in front of me explaining as he goes along. He knew what the problem was in about 3 minutes. I then left him my boat for about 2 weeks as he took apart all the carbs, propellers etc trying to find my initial problem. He would always call me every couple of days and explained what he did and what he found. Once it came time to pick up my boat, i drove down there to find him scrubbing and power washing the boat and plastic wrap all around the boat to prevent dirt and marking it as he was working on it. As he was washing it another customer walked in and we started talking. He began telling me how he has been bringing his boat to joe for years and if its got an engine then joe can fix it. He began ranting and raving about how awesome joe is and he actually cares about every boat he fixes. Once he was done cleaning up the boat, he went over 100% of the boat with me and gave me more tips about the boat explaining into detail. He also told me that i can check out his facebook page where he posts all pictures of every boat/jet ski he works on and explains what he was doing. One happy customer here Joe! I appreciate everything you have done. See you in the spring!
