Waba grill is franchise restaurant and we can find them anywhere but this place is special!
lady took my oder which was a chicken salad without teriyaki souse but it came out with teriyaki sauce which is soy based souse that I can not have. luckily owner was there and he was super nice and friendly. I could be just mad and leave but actually surprised. it was very busy lunch time but owner was handling problems very fast and professionally with smile. It could be ugly (I was about to start complaining !!!) but owner made this situation a nice team work.
everyone can make a mistake but
it is hard to make a smile from that mistake !
fresh healthy foods with warm friendly smile.
I had a happy meal :)

I’ve been coming here for a while for their amazing salmon salad. I returned today for my salad only to find out it’s now being made with kale. Last time I was given a choice between kale and iceberg. This time I was informed that corporate dictates no more choice. Sad. I won’t be returning

Had orderd for take out pretty much ur food should be ready by the time you’re there¿ right?¿ anywho my order was behind by 5 orders the girl that took my order was very rude i dont know why they work there if obviously she cant have good customer service like why work! It’s my first time eating at Wada and my experience was amazing I love they’re miso soup and omg the half and half veggies was amazing the bathrooms were clean and the dinning area, the cashier was amazing on introducing us

This place should be shut down! More than likely going to call the FDA on this location. Today bugs were spotted by the condiments section, and later a bull dog walked out of the back area (could’ve been the kitchen) by who seemed to be the manager.

I don’t know if it’s just this location or not, but when I got the chicken bowl, the chicken were chopped into tiny pieces and way overcooked. The chicken was drenched in sauce to covered up the tough tiny pieces of chicken. I wanted to taste the chicken and not just the sauce. I had way better teriyaki chicken elsewhere where the pieces of chicken weren’t turned into dogfood. I’m not going back there or any Waba Grill in the future. I’ll stick with my local fav, the Golden Bowl.

We’re vegan so can’t comment on how the meat tastes or is prepared.
We just moved nearby, and the veggie bowls are so convenient and tasty for $ 5. It’s practically double the size of Jack in the Box’s teriyaki bowl for pretty much the same price.
The teriyaki sauce is thick and tastes good. They give you plenty of broccoli and carrots and cabbage. Buying our own rice and produce is obviously cheaper in the long run, but we’re living without a refrigerator right now, haha.
The employees are also SUPER nice and hyped to help you. We’ll be coming back often!

Yummy and healthy what more can we ask for… how about a free small drink with a purchase of any plate… sounds good great… well @this location thats one of the reasons I come here… the rib plate yummy and healthy they even have salmon for all you fish lovers out there and of course chicken and steak… and remember don’t forget about the free drink with the plate :)
The best part of this waba grill is the customer service just great… even the owner was cleaning tables and helping out … thanks for the great service

This location is in a little center next to 99 cent store.
They make everything right in front of you. Doesn’t take very long. Workers are friendly. Lots of parking here.
Come hungry! It’s a pretty good size serving.

Ok, REALLY NICE workers there, but what is up with those «short ribs??» I brought a 90 year old man with me today to try this place. We spent $ 20, and both left hungry! The ribs are all bone and fat, with VERY LITTlE meat! Then to make up for it, and try to fill you up by giving you a pound of rice! We basically paid 20 bucks for rice! Huge waste of time, and I’m STARVING! I gotta stop trying new places, and stick with what I KNOW is good!!!
Geeeeeeez. Off to get some REAL food!

What brown rice in Norwalk?
Amazing. I’m used to Jim’s burgers and memories of the old A&W Rootbeer.
This was a good healthy alternative. Brown rice. Grilled chicken. Sauce on the side.
I drank almost all of their iced tea.
It was a good day. Food was good. Service was fast. Overall nice place.

This Waba Grill is the best in the area. Their employees are great and very nice. The owner is a very positive and always smiling when I stop by. One of the cooks is also cute, but the food is great. Price is good and food and quality is good. I love the food and I recommend the shrimp and salmon bowl! Plus they serve more food than the one in Downey! I eat here at least 3 x a week!
